Your camera shoots at 36mp which is akin to medium format. I think you will find LR will handle very large raw files more efficiently especially doing bulk edits. You can also export a fresh set of jpegs, tiff or PSD files with a single click from Lightroom, directly from your NEF’s and then work on those in Elements.
ACR 7.0 produces some amazing results in the highlights and shadows areas of images. The old brightness, fill-light and recovery sliders have disappeared.
ACR7 requires a new way of thinking and a new way of working with raw images. However Adobe have produced an excellent default starting point with all the sliders set at zero, with the ability to make positive and negative adjustments. I have found that almost perfect results can be achieved with the new exposure and contrast sliders. The highlights and shadows sliders offer even greater control. I only use the blacks and whites if extra punch is needed at each extreme end of the histogram.
I would not recommend automatically changing raw images to Process Version 2012. Use the new version going forward as you import from camera and leave previously edited raw images on PV2010, where the old sliders will still be available.

If you still want to sync your photos try this instead:
1. Go to the Pictures folder in the Finder window (Pictures usually appears under Favorites in the sidebar of the Finder window)
2. **Locate the iPhoto Library file and Right click on the file and select Show Package Contents.
3. Locate the iPod Photo Cache folder and delete it.
4. Try the sync process again, it should work.
** Sometimes the iPod Photo Cache folder is simply in the Pictures folder and step 2 is not necessary

Note that you can only sync apps from the one syncing computer/library that yo can have. If the iPod was synced to another computer/iTunes libary or set up via wifi then to make this computer/itunes library your syncing computer/library:

I always do my Rentals with the itunes program on the computer.
Make rental from itunes store. It will show in movies under library, DO NOT click to play it. Plug in the device to the computer. Click the name of the device on left. Click on movies. There is an option to copy to the device. Sync. obviously you still need space on ipad to put rental but you can have it take computers hard drive space until you need it.

There are often places to go which have free WiFi ie coffee shops, shopping malls, fast-food places.
You can connect the phone to your computer & download/update via iTunes if you have one.

You don't "need" Wifi, however unless your 3G is substantially fast and you have an unlimited data plan it will not be practical to try and download a movie through 3G.
Movies are really large files, 1.2 to 1.5GB in size double that for HD versions. So be prepared if you don't have an unlimited Data plan and a good connection to pay a lot and wait quite a while for the download.

Bonjour à tous, ma copine est parti hier en tunisie pendant 15 jours, disposant de 2 ipod touch 4g ( 1 à moi, 1 à mon frère), je lui ai prêter le mien pour que l'on puisse utiliser FaceTime. You may have an unwanted extension that is modifying sites (or the toolbar area). Try this:
Disable ALL nonessential or unrecognized extensions on the Add-ons page. Either:
* Ctrl+Shift+a
* orange Firefox button (or Tools menu) > Add-ons
In the left column, click Extensions. Then, if in doubt, disable.
Usually a link will appear above at least one disabled extension to restart Firefox. You can complete your work on the tab and click one of the links as the last step.

I have the same problem - it is maddening. I rely on this iPad for work so this is not just an annoyance! The above solutions of changing the appleid on the device or on the website do not work.
The old email address no longer exists - I haven't used it in a year probably and I no longer have the account. I logged into the appleid website and there is no trace of the old email address so there is nothing that can be deleted or changed there. On the iPad there is no trace of the old email address so nothing can be deleted there either. I have updated the iPad software and the same problem comes right back. Every 2 seconds I am asked to log in using the old non-existent email. The device is currently useless.
The only recent change to anything was the addition of an Apple TV device, which was set up using the correct login and password.
Does anyone have any ideas? The iPad has been backed up to the iCloud so presumably it now won't recognize the current iCloud account? So restoring may notbe an option?

Have removed everything I can to make space but still need another 1.2 GB. Is there any way I can delete it so I can delete the version I wanted, or even better change to the SD version? The film is still queuing in the downloads list. I've tried edit and delete but that doesn't work. I also can't re-download the film from iTunes.
