Today I received an email from iCloud that my storage was reduced to the free 5 GB after I had 25 GB of free web space being a former MobileMe customer. But my iPhone tells me that I still have 25 GB of online storage. How come?

I think you will find that they are just a little bit slow at removing your storage, don't worry it will happen sooner or later.

Follow the instructions from the support page you linked. If you have an iPhone 3G, it cannot be upgraded beyond iOS 4.2.1.

How come my iMessages aren't sending anymore I have a iPod touch 5th gen. It was working and then like 5 minutes later it would not send any messages it always said not delivered even when I press retry and it doesn't send at all I even updated my iOS to iOS 7.04 to see if it will send my iMessages but it won't. I tried to send a message to anyone but it won't work even when before I would be able to send messages but something weird happened that made my messages not delivered. If you are in a location where that location can't be determined (as a result of poor signal or whatever), the app will report your last confirmed location. -

In Pages when I click the 'Sections' button then click on the 1st page I get a page that is titled "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet"! Where did it come from and how do I get rid of it? I have tried deleting and "dont save" but it comes back. It is a full page in some unknown language. The only thing I can decifer is 'cupy uf cak'. Rdal

The icon is +Sections, not just Sections, as in "Add a Section". When you click that icon you get a section break and and a new section template, complete with preformatted text called placeholder text. The reason "Lorem ipsum" is there is so you can see what the format looks like. The reason that it is Latin gibberish is so you won't get hung up on, or distracted by, what it says. It's just a display of format. Select the "Lorem ipsum" text and start typing your content.

You can only due an OTA update if your on IOS 5 or higher. If not connect your phone with itunes and itunes should read that your phone needs to be updated. suggest doing a backup of your phone prior to updating.

Did you fail to maintain a backup copy?
If so, then you can buy a third party program to extract the music not purchased from itunes.

having a problem with dates when I send my numbers doc to excel. dates are all out and that they have to cut and paste individual entries onto their spreadsheet. Any idea how I can prevent this.

M…oSoft products aren't allowed on my machines but I use LibreOffice which is a clone of Office.
When I export from Numbers to Excel and open the result with LibreOffice, the dates are correctly treated.
To be precise, dates after 01/01/1904 are correctly treated. dates before 01/01/1904 are exported as strings but, as it's flagged during the export process, it's not surprising.

I only show one iCloud on my IPhone that can do a restore. I synced it with my MacBook Pro and I think that may have messed things up. Prior to that I have several backups. Will a "genius" be able to access the info I need?
If things seem to be going haywire with your phone, it seems that it MAY be a software issue.
Now, that being said, that does not necessarily mean that it is a virus. Software issues do happen sometimes. It is probably just coincidence.
What you need to do is restore the device using iTunes. This will fix any software issues. After you have done this, you can restore from an iCloud backup.
iCloud does not back up the actual software, so no, the "virus" would not have gotten into the backups.
