Need to use 3g because i am out alot and i dont know how to turn on the 3g and i dont know how to use it.

3G is a speed of cellular data connection. To turn on cellular data, go to Settings > Cellular and set Cellular Data to on (green). Immediately below that setting, there may be an additional setting for 3G or LTE depending on your phone/carrier. That second setting allows your phone to use the fastest cellular data available -- if it is available at the location you are attempting to use it.
Regarding, how you use it -- it is automatic once the above settings are made and will be used whenever anything on your phone needs to get data over the cellular network (e.g., when you use Safari, check the weather, use any app that needs to retirieve data via the internet).

The 4G/iOS 6 does not have an Activation Lock. That started with iOS 7.
Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased.
If recovery mode does not work try DFU mode.

2.4ghz is plenty of processing, if it means you'll save money over the 2.7ghz. I'd have suggested 2.7 if you also do heavy video editing/rendering using FCP, etc... but the spec you have is plenty

How are you supposed to get help from Apple if you don't know what your serial number is? They say to input the serial number of the "product" that you are asking about. Since my problem is how to deauthorize/authorize computers, and they are saying I have more than 5 (which I have never owned more than 5 computers in my life), I can't imagine what serial number they mean. Does it mean your desktop computer? If so, which one? Do they mean your device? LIke your iPhone, iPod or whatever? Do they mean the software ON one of your computers and/or devices? If so, which program, and on which computer/device?

Help! I can't contact apple because I have no idea what they mean about serial number. I doubt they would help me anyway. In order to get the serial number off my desktop computer (that has iTunes on it already), I will have to move furniture, so I don't want to if that's not it. You could have more 5 computers authorized if you ever, for example, reformatted a hard drive or replaced a hard drive without deauthorizing the computer first. Apple's system would see that as a different computer, even though you don't. There's nothing to be afraid of in deauthorizing everything and the reauthorizing what you actually have. You won't lose any data. Mistimp is correct, they can't tell you which computers are authorized.

Don't know email, password, or birthday for Game Center ID; how do I sign in?

I created a gamecenter ID a long time ago separate from my Apple ID. I don't remember creating an email or birthday or anything, just a password, which I wrote down. Now when I try to view my account, that password doesn't work.
I tried iForgot, but I have to put either my email or answer the questions. The email doesn't work - I tried using the one for my regular Apple ID, and didn't get anything. And I don't know if I have an email associated with the GameCenter ID, or the password to get to it.
The security questions don't work either because it starts out with my birthday and nothing I tried works, including my real birthday, of course.
I guess it's unreasonable to try and get back my account without knowing the password, email, security questions, or anything except the username...but...uh...any suggestions?

You may have created a different or seperate Apple ID when creating your Gamecenter ID. If you are having issues indentifying or remembering what that Apple ID is, you may find the following article helpful:

Tried repeatedly to download the ios6 on my iPad 3 and keep getting error. message. How do I take care of this? Said I could do it through iTunes but don't know if I have the last updated iTunes either, how can you tell?

Someone suggested that it could be done on my main computer in iTunes but that has to be updated and I don't know how to tell if mine has been updated or not. How do I get this installed? I can tell you how to do this but first wanted to be sure that's what you want to do. You would then be sharing the same iCloud account and any synced data (contacts, calendars, etc.) would then be merged and the merge data would appear on her phone and your iPad (i.e., you'll end up with each other's contacts on your phone). You would also both be backing up your devices to the same account, sharing the 5GB of free storage (assuming you're both backing up to iCloud).
There's an alternative setup that would allow her to set up your iCloud account on her phone as her primary account and just turn on photo stream in that account (allowing your to share you photo stream), then set up a secondary iCloud account on her phone that would sync her Mail, Notes, Contacts, Calendars and Reminders. She would still have to back up her phone to your account, as well as syncing Safari, Documents and Find My iPhone (all of which can only be done in the primary account). Also, her mail would be fetch, not push as push email is only supported in the primary account.
I suppose a third option is to leave things as they are and share you photos with each other using shared photo streams.
Let me know what you want to do and I'll give you the steps.

I don't know what just happened but I had my iPhone 5 plugged in to my computer and itunes popped up and all this syncing and stuff happened and now all of the stuff that was on my phone is gone and all my old stuff from my 4 is on there!!

Hi. I'm new to the iPhone, but I have had iPods for 5 years or so. I don't know if it works the same, but here's what I know from my iPod experience.
Each iPod is associated with a particular iTunes account. If you plug your device into your computer, it should see your iTunes account and do what ever you have set your iTunes to do when it sees your device (mine is set to sync automatically). If you plug into a different computer, it asks if you want to sync to that iTunes, and if you say yes, it will replace your content with what is in the other iTunes account.
Still, you say it was your own computer that did this to you, so I'm a bit stumped. It sounds like when you had the iPhone 4 you had different content than when you got your iPhone 5. What was the difference? Songs, contacts, photos, apps, etc.? Do you still have the content of your iPhone 5 on your computer? I have only managed my iPhone with my computer, with the exception of downloading a few apps directly, but those apps get placed on my computer when I sync, so I was under the impression that other things that go directly to your phone would also sync, but maybe that's wrong on my part.
You might want to open iTunes on your computer and go to Store>View My Account to make sure you have the correct log-in. Could it be that you made a new Apple ID with the new phone, and your computer is still logged in with your old one?
