Close All Open Apps... Sign Out of your account... Perform a Reset... Try again...
Reset ( No Data will be Lost )

Got a new mac today, I created my iCloud account (and therfore my Apple ID?) I tried to set up my iTunes and download updates, and it says i need to review my account, then I had to edit my Apple ID details, but said my email address was invalid???
From the information that you have provided, it sounds like your Apple ID has been disabled. You can read this to see how you can troubleshoot that issue.

You can try signing out of your ID on the iPad and sign in with his ID and see if that works.
Settings>iTunes and App Stores>Apple ID. Tap your ID and sign out. Then sign in with your husband's newly created ID. -

Just to make certain, you inserted the original installation disk and started the MBP holding down the C key? Did the Optical drive reject the disk or did it just spin? If the former, the lens in the drive may be dirty and needs to be cleaned. If the latter, you will have to take it to an Apple repair facility.

can't restore apple id , because apple were blocked for security reasons, but to restore the need to enter the key two- step werification . after typing it , apple sends a 4-digit code on the ipad , but at ipad I am not connected to icloud ,so i cant get code . but if i want to recover apple id, i need to connect icloud, so what to do? help !
I have (sorry forgot to add that). I was switched around and finally I was told I would be put through to a supervisor but after being on hold for about 10 minutes the phone went dead, I did not lose connection so I do not know if I was hung up on or there was some technical difficulty. I called again yesterday and did in fact speak with a supervisor for Account Security but he told me he did not know why it was happening and put me through to a different number but that ended up not being any helpful either. That's when I decided to give it a shot on here!

when I go into my Itunes now it tells me that " You don't have enough access privileges for this eperation" which is causing me other issues with buying my music too. " Could't download purchase........" something like media file and stuff. Does anyone have a solution to this problem. This is my mom's old macbook pro and have never had a problem before. I cannot do upgrades or buy apps as it keeps asking me to verfy my password by email but I cannot get Apple to send the email. I have tried repeatedly. Help please.
I seen this many times, and in just about all cases, it's the user resetting a different AppleID than what's being used for the iTunes account.

help! I forgot my passcode so it disabled my ipod untill i hooke dit up to iTunes. So i hooked it up today and iTunes says i cant access the ipod uness i put my passcode in on the ipod. So i go to my ipod andtry that but its restricting me everything unless i hook up to iTunes. So my ipod and iTunes are telling me to do opposite things

The problem is probably the lan cable connection. I'd recommend connecting both via Firewire, if your old machine has a FW 800 connection only need a Firewire 800 cable. If your old machine uses FW then you need a cable like

To be honest I'm not sure why people have trouble using the lan connection but that seems to have more problems than any other type of connection. If you used a bootable clone or Time Machine on your old machine for backup you can also start over and migrate from the backup. Pondini's Setup Assistant tips will provide all the information you need on how to do it, I'd recommend starting where he talks about "Second Chance."

Why is my apple ID keep saying I need to verify it?
Every time I try to log in on my iTunes, it says I need to verify my Apple ID which I did my first time and now it keeps saying that.
I know but i try logging into the iTunes store on my iPod Touch and it says,"You havent verify your apple ID click here for instructions..." but I did veryify it the first time and it when through but now it wont let me log into anything.

I checked my Apple ID and was everything ok, but when I'll make a download appears a message saying "you Apple ID is off"
If you log into too many devices with the same Apple ID, it automatically shuts your ID off as it views the multiple logins as a security breach.
Just change your password at iForgot, and then log back in. Should work just fine. -
I recently updated my iTunes to the latest version; however, when I go to purchase songs now, it says I need to verify my apple ID. It tells me to click OK to follow the instructions on how to do so. When I click OK, it says an email has been sent to my email address associated with my iTunes account that will hold a link that will aid in the creating of my apple ID, but I already have one, and just need to update it. And to add to this, I have not yet received the email, and it has been a few days now... any help?

I am being asked to verify my Apple ID. When I enter the password I get the message it is wrong. It says the e-mail address is already verified for another Apple ID and then it says it is sending an e-mail to my e-mail account that I then never receive. How do I resolve this?
This is most likely caused by an iCloud sign up (which forces you to use an email address as Apple ID).
