Apps and music are forever tied to the Apple ID under which they were purchased. If you don't want to continue to get that message, delete the apps and purchase them again with your new Apple ID.

I had to change my Apple ID and password in itunes. Now my icloud doesn't work and I can't update my apps on my iPhone. I have looked at suggestions on the community pages and apple suggestions but none of them are relevant to iOS 8.1.2
icloud just keeps bringing up my old email address & asking for my old password which doesn't exist anymore and when I try to sign out of icloud it wants my old password, when I tried to change my primary email back to the old one it wants me to verify it through an email address that doesn't exist. I understand that you updated your Apple Id and password but now you are being prompted for the old information in iCloud. You are on the right track by changing the Apple ID back to the previous email address temporarily so that you can sign out. You should not need to verify the email address. After you edit the Apple ID back to the old email address and then sign out of iCloud on your iPhone, edit the Apple ID back to the address you would currently like to use. There is no need to change the password again, only the email address, unless you prefer to update the password again.

Change your Apple ID temporarily
If signing out and back in to iMessage or FaceTime didn't help, try these steps:
Change your Apple ID to the Apple ID you used previously. You shouldn't need to verify the email address.
Tap Settings > iCloud. Complete these steps only if the Find My [Device] setting is turned on:
Scroll down and tap Sign Out, then tap Sign Out to confirm. If you're using iOS 7 or earlier, tap Delete Account, then tap Delete to confirm.
Tap Keep on My [Device] or Delete from My [Device]. In either case, your data remains in iCloud and will be updated on your device when you sign in to iCloud again.
Enter the password for your previous Apple ID.
Change your Apple ID to the new email address that you want to use. You'll need to verify the email address.
Return to Settings > iCloud and sign in with your new Apple ID.

Two days ago, I loaded Light Room 6. Today I went back to Light Room 5. LR 6 corrupted an entire folder of images, and caused errors on my Raid 5 causing win 7 to run "Chk Dsk" and fix the errors to the operating system. LR 5 has not shut down for the last 5 hours. LR 6 has a serious bug. Anyone else experiencing this problem. Yesterday I was on tech support, waiting for 3 hours, finally they picked up and informed me there department was closing and someone else would call me on Monday. So, I'm working today and all day Sunday to make up for the down time using LR 6.
I don't know if the bug exists in the program or the "Creative Cloud.
Question: Does anyone know why if I bought Light Room 6 [NOT Light Room CC with the monthly rental], I have to enter my serial number if I want to use it?Entering the serial number is probably part of the registration process.
Just out of curiosity, what were you doing on LR6 when the folder of images became corrupted? -
I change my email my Verizon email to Comcast email. I am continually asked to give my password for my old email which I deleted. I have deleted this Verizon email from every area on my iPad that I'm aware of, And yet he still appearing. How do I solve this.
What you are describing sounds like you created a new apple id with your new comcast email address. There may be apps on your ipad that are associated with another id that was using your verizon email address. If thats what you're saying then those apps need to be updating by using the apple id that was used when they were downloaded.
If you're talking about something else then maybe a lttle clarification is necessary.
Go to settings/itunes and app stores. make sure the correct apple is shown.
Go to settings/mail, contacts and calendars. Makes sure all of the accounts are current.
Go to settings/icloud, facetime and messages, verify the same. -
In my previous iphone i have created an apple id connected to my yahoo email which is also my icloud id obviously. I decided to delete my yahoo email and changed it to gmail. I have changed my apple id as well. Now here is my problem. I have iphone 5 now. im trying to restore all my data through i cloud. Considering i have changed my email apple id etc, the old apple id is still showing. I have changed it online and deleted the yahoo apple id. but still on my phone its asking for the password of my yahoo apple id which no longer exist. Its bugging me off as i went to apple store and they dont know what to do as well. i tried restoring everything to orginal setting but once i get to the icloud bit, its all the same. up to now its asking for the old apple id password. I dont know how i can delete that as theres no button to delete it on the phone. i cant even restore my photos.

MMy old iPhone 5c is wanting a password for logging into my apple account. The problem is that the email address its tied to doesn't exist anymore. I changed the email to a different one. But can't figure out how to change the email address on the phone to the new email address.
The fact that the email address doesn't exist anymore doesn't matter. As far as the Apple ID is concerned, the email address is just a user name. As long as you know the password you used, it should be fine.

Firstly, you need to change your details with Apple, Start here, change your country if necessary and go to manage your account. You may have already done this.
In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iCloud account on your iOS device, you need to delete the account from your iOS device first, then add it back using your updated details. (Settings > iCloud, scroll down and hit "Delete Account")
Providing you are simply updating your existing details and not changing to another account, when you delete your account, all the data that is synced with iCloud will also be deleted from the device (but not from iCloud), but will be synced back to your device when you login again.
In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iCloud account on your computer, you need to sign out of the account from your computer first, then sign back in using your updated details. (System Preferences > iCloud, click the sign out button)

YOu can't update your apps with the new apple id. All apps are tied to the apple id that was used to purchased it, you will need to enter your password from you old id to update.

There is a Pages v5.5.1 update available in the OS X App Store under Updates. Unless, you have System Preferences > App Store configured to automatically install Updates, it may be waiting for you to manually update it.
If you have Pages ’09 open (/Applications/iWork '09) and double-click a document owned by Pages v5.5.(1), Pages ’09 will throw a dialog about needing a newer version of Pages and go download one from the App Store. They could have made that dialog less confusing, by simply stating that Pages ’09 cannot open the incompatible Pages v5.5(.1) document. -
Have down loaded Maverick two days ago. To activate it asked for my Administrator ID which I had forgotten.
Now i have managed to change my ID. Now to instal Maverick I cannot find it on my computer. If I down load it again it will use my Internet plans %gb mor from out provider. The problem appeared two days ago is that I can't open my mail app. everything was fine and functional. Now I double click on the icon and it does not respond. it receives mail and I can see push notifications on the mail icon but when I try to open it is no use. Back up all data.
