HT5622 Can you use more than one apple ID on the same computer? I can't sign in and out and sync my iPod because my library isn't on there.

My sister has an iTunes account on our main computer, and I have one on our laptop.  I want to be able to sync my iPod with the main computer, but I can't because my library is on the laptop.  Is there any way to sync my iPod with my library on the computer?

Yes

However you can only sync all media from one iTunes library/computer. However, one can sync music and videos with different computers/libraries if you have iTunes setup to manually sync. See that method included here:

Stop using the same Apple ID for iMessage on these devices.  Go to Settings>Messages>Send & Receive (Receive At in iOS 5), tap the ID shown, sign out, then sign back in using a unique ID for each device.  (Or, just sign out and stop using your Apple ID for iMessage.)

Yes. Either create and use separate Windows user accounts, or launch iTunes with the Shift key held down as desired.

  • Can you have more than one iTunes account on the same computer?

My wife just got a nano and wants to set up her itunes library. Since we have different tastes in music, I thought we should have separate libraries under our separate log-ins to our PC so that her music didn't upload to my iPod and vice versa. Is that the right approach or is there a better way?

There are basically two ways of using multiple iPods on a computer and these involve:
    a) Sharing a single iTunes library and user account.
    b) Creating multiple user accounts and having separate libraries.
    Sharing a Library
If you want to share the one library, you can set either or all of the iPods so that they only get updated with only certain playlists (you can update from more than one if you wish):
Loading songs onto iPod automatically - Windows
Choosing the update option "Sync Music - Selected playlists" allows you to create a playlist specifically for the iPod and drag the tracks you want into it. If you tire of the list and want to change it, you just add or remove the songs you don't want. The ones you take out out remain in the library to be used some other time if you choose. You can read more about playlists at these links:
iTunes: Creating playlists of your favorite songs
How to create a Smart Playlist with iTunes
Or you can choose to update any or all of the iPods manually and just drag whatever content you want to them: Managing content manually on iPod
    Separate User Accounts
Another option is to create a separate User account for each person on your PC or Mac. Different accounts by definition would give you completely separate libraries. Each account has it's own iTunes folder, Library and iTunes Music folder and you load it with CDs etc just as you did with your original one. The iPod can be set to update however the owner chooses, sync all, manual or sync specific playlists

  • Can I use more than one USB 6008 in the same program?

I am working on a project that may require up to six USB-6008 modules.  Before I purchase more I need to know if I can use all six at a time in the same Lab View program.  Can anyone help?
    Solved!

    Hello Nick,
LabVIEW is able to handel that number of DAQ tasks quite easily, however you must remember that USB has a maximum bandwidth. Therefore you would have to ensure that you have enough USB hubs on your PC. Typically there are between two to four USB slots per hub and each of these will have a maximum throughput rate which will divided between all devices attached to that hub. Therefore although you may have four USB DAQ devices attached to four USB ports if they are on the same hub you may notice greatly reduced rates of data transfer. What I would suggest rather than purchasing six or more USB 6008, why not purchase one PCI card which is able to handel many more inputs with a larger bandwidth.

  • HT1206 I just purchased a second ipad, can I have more than one itune account on the same computer? If so how do I set that up?

I just purchased my second ipad and I want to have it under a different apple id. I want to keep it more streamlined for things that I really use and not filled up with a lot of games, pictures and so on. I don't know how to go about setting the itunes account up. So can anyone out there help me with this.
    thanks,
    kathy

I would advise that you not set up a second Apple ID. It's really not necessary - having two Apple IDs won't affect how iTunes works with your iPads - and will just complicate matters. Each iPad will be treated independently and can be set to sync only the items you want on that particular iPad. If you really want to keep the two iPads separate, set up different iTunes libraries and have only those items you want on the related iPad in that library, rather than a different Apple ID. If you plan not to use a computer and just download directly to the iPads, you can again choose what apps and content each iPad gets.
But answering your specific question, you can have content from up to five iTunes Store accounts on any one computer or iPad. To create a new iTunes Store account, you'll need a different email address, and from there you just create the account the same way you did the first one.
    Regards.

  • HT4976 Can you use more than one emoji app?

Can you use more than one emoji pp on the iPhone 5?

All the emoji apps have been removed from the App Store because the Emoji keyboard is now accessible in all iPhones (since, I believe) iOS 5.
    Settings>General>Keyboard>Keyboards>Add New Keyboard.
There is no need for a separate app.

  • Can u use more than one apple account on your device and itunes

Can u use more than one apple account on your device and itunes

Yes, but you have to logout of one, and login to the other.
If it is an iPhone/iPad/iPod Touch and you buy apps on different accounts, when it comes time to update an app, you have to specify the password for the account used to acquirer the app. You change an iOS account via Settings -> Store -> Apple ID (tap on it), and start by logging out and then you can enter the other Id
So it is possible, but it can also be a pain.
