  • Need help with multiple accounts

    I forgot my original password for my itunes account.  Stupidly, i set up another one.  Now I can't play my songs from my original account because I hace to put in that password.  Tried reseting the password, but the email address from that account has been deactivated, so when it says" will sennd to email address on file, I can't retrive the email to rest the password.  Is there a way to merge both accounts?

    No.  You cannot merge the accounts.  Sorry.

  • Need help with Exchange account

    Hi,
    We use Exchange 2007 at work. When I tried to set up my iPhone with it, it worked perfectly, including syncing my work e-mail account, syncing my work calendar and allowing me to look up entries in my work address book.
    When I tried to set it up on my GUEST account on my Mac (completely clean account), it again worked perfectly.
    However, on my main account on the Mac, I'm able to get the e-mail sync. functionality to work and the addressbook functionality to work but for some reason, I just can't get iCal to sync or show my work calendar.
    iCal shows the name of the account in the list of calendars on the left-side pane, but shows an "error" icon (squiggly icon) on the right of the account. No matter what I do, I can't get it to sync with my work calendar.
    Can someone help me please?

  • Hi guys i really need help with a newsletter set up

    so my newsletter that i am having difficulty with is 4 pages with a 3 column and each page needs to have a headline and sub headline the problem i am having is creating enough space for the sub headline with enough room for the text i was wondering if anyone has a mock set up file that i could use to see where my margins are off by any help will be greatly appreciated.  oh and the size is 8.5x11 mine just doesn't seem to look right.

  • Need help with IMAP Account

    Since I've gotten my iPod touch, I decided to make my gmail account an IMAP instead of a POP one. To be honest I was unsure of differences, but was unanimously told that IMAP was better, especially for multiple devices. I've had a little trouble configuring it the way i want though. Here's my problem.
    I like to save all my mail for reference. Gmail allow me to do this on there server. Fantastic. Unfortunately this also all gets stored in mail, taking up over a gig on my harddrive. I would like to be able to keep maybe the last 50 messages in my discarded mail, and my sent mail and have older messages be stored just on gmails server so that i may logon and access them when need be.
    Also, I find it very confusing to have two sent folders, two junk/spam folders and two trash folders. One seems to be local, one referring to gmail server, both stored on my computer. I would rather have it the simple way (one junk folder yno?)
    Hoping someone could help me out/explain.

    Go to account settings and select the correct (non local) folder for Spam/Sent/Trash etc. This should at least resolve the issue with "duplicate" folders.
    IMAP stores all mail serverside. What you have stored locally is just a kind of cache for faster reading of mail. You could delete your IMAP-folder on the harddrive (located somewhere under ~/Library/Mail) every day, and your mails would still be there in Mail.app.

    Good day - I have been a 10-year user of Blackberrys (Curve, Bold, and earlier models). Just received a new Q10 for work. Enterprise Outlook synched up and I am getting all emails, calendar, and contact information as in the past. All good with this. Here are my questions I cannot find answers to anywhere:
    1) How can I insert a "signature" with emails I compose from Q10?
    2) How can I delete all emails on Q10, rather than one at a time?
    3) How do I set the Q10 to only delete from phone and not network. In other words I only want to delete emails from the Q10 device and not my PC.

    #3 is even easier
    Go to Hub settings, then display and actions and drag down, you'll see the option 'delete'.

    I have an Ipad and was saving movies on it until it let me know that I was running out of space.  I went in and purchased additional space on Icloud but now cannot figure out how to get things moved over to Icloud...help?!

    iCloud storage space are meant mainly for backup purposes. You can't move your data from iPad to iCloud like other cloud storage like Dropbox or Box.net.
    You need to clear up space from your iPad.
    Settings>General>Usage>Storage>Delete what is not wanted

  • I need help with my account since moving

    I have termianted two lines on our account and still ahve one--- I called from the airport on OCTOBER 15th and spoke with three reps about terminating my serice on the two lines. We moved to an area in the Middle East with no VERIZON sevice--- we were told becasue we still had one active line that my line would not be charged a termination fee. We have since gotten a bill for the FULL termination fee and our sone has called numerous times and was told a supervisor would get bakc to him and take the fee off-- BUT then two other very rude reps got on the line and asid he waslying and the fee would be kept.
    So what do we do now-- we are in Abu Dhabi and not longer even have our phones but our sone has his active line and NO ONE will return his calls even after being told someone ould get roight back to him the next day!
    I would hate to drop his phone from our plan but it is looking like Verizon isn't keeping their word to us and we have had Verizon service for 15vyears. I do not fell this is the way a comany should trat their customers. We had no choice but to move due to job relocation.
    Is there anyone who can call Josh and straighten this mess out BEFORE his cell phone is shut off sue to nonpayment!!!!
    The reps on October 15th were awesome to us but the lastest round has been mean to say the least!

    I'm trying to buy some applications and music and i used my creditcard like always, but i believe last time i enter one of the security codes(located in the back of the card) wrong by mistake. I find out now i can't buy anything, every time that i put my security code it said it wrong and I don't know what to do, please help me, because my creditcard is fine!!!. thank you.

  • Need Help With Shared Accounts

    I let a friend borrow my computer, and she informed me she went to some TV listing site that may have given my computer a virus. Everything looks ok but when I clicked on Finder I saw four accounts under SHARED, and I've never even used that, I don't know what it is.
    How do I get them off? I'm afraid they'll give me a virus

    Shared isn't an account. It's a list of computers/servers on the network you're using.
    There are no viruses for the Mac OS right now--though there are trojans and other nasties out there. However, in order for those things to run on your computer, you have to be the one installing them.
    If you want to check for viruses just in case, us ClamXAV--it will scan for Windows viruses, as well as any OS X threats.

    As for that shared issue, try relaunching Finder. To do this click the Apple icon in the upper left corner and choose *Force Quit*. Click Finder and it will give you the option to relaunch. Relaunching should only take a few seconds. Hopefully that fixes the issue for you. If not, I'll see what else you can try. Those items won't do your computer any harm though.
