You can keep her music on a computer in addition to anything you add under your new ID. You can only have content on your mobile devices that you have either purchased from your ID or synced from your computer.

I have an Ipod with alot of music on it that i have had for a while. The PC i used to sync it to crashed and i lost my itunes library. I now have a new PC and have already started loading new music onto it. I now realize that the music that is on my Ipod is not on the PC yet. I would like to know how to merge my ipod with the old music onto the new PC with the new music. When i pluged it in Itues said it would erase the ipod and replace it with what is now on the PC and of course i said no. Yes. I would clarify your statement about the "shared" iTunes Library though. If you want each iOS device to have its own music library, you should create separate user accounts for them. Read:

I'm relatively new to Mac and want to try and get the most out of the new MacBook Air.
My wife and I have been sharing the same Apple ID. We both have iPhones - she has a 5 and I've got a 4S.
We only have one copy of iTunes and we have been sharing the account. (She doesn't really use the computer for anything beyond writing the odd weekend assignment.)
Would I be better off setting her up with her own and making her as a separate user on the computer? Would this require much work?
In recent times with updates, we have a few problems with the duplication of texts and that sort of thing. Both of our texts are stored on the computer and that sort of thing. Also, sometimes texts I send her are sent through to me from her, if that makes any sense.
Anyway, I don't really want to overly complicate matters when it comes to accounts etc, but I wanted to know if a fresh Apple ID would be the best thing or even a new user?
Any tips etc would be greatly appreciated

It doesnt complicate anything, but it adds steps for switching accounts on the Mac/ purchases etc. of course
since your question is mostly personal, ..I wont answer THAT part of it, but creating a new account is easy.....messing with switching back and forth is also a personal preference 'issue' as well. I prefer to keep things simple, but...........you and yours, I dont know.......

Is there a way to transer from my main account their new accounts? And can I share music from my account with them?
You can't currently transfer content from one account to another account. As long as the tracks are on the computer's iTunes that they use/sync to, and your account is authorised on that iTunes, then they should be able to continue to use them.

It should be Noted that anything Downloaded with a Particular Apple ID is tied to that Apple ID and Cannot be Merged or Transferred to a Different Apple ID

I have been working on a file in pages which I cannot open now. Every time I select it "an error occurred and pages must close" appears and pages shuts down. I have tried to duplicate the document but cannot open the copy either. I am unable to email, share via iwork, itunes, idisk or WebDAV all of these options just close pages down. Let's summarise, for those reviewing this threadless thread for app support..
Mobile pages works reliably for simple docs, especially creating letters and Menus for Microsoft's Kindy canteen (even on special days with nice big pictures).
When importing more complex docs and/or working with larger creations, it is prone to randomly corrupting files upon re-opening, along similar lines as Word (running on a PC).
So, Menu Boy, do they let you sneak into classes every now and then? What is the secret to their training? If you want to keep your iCloud data, you would need to migrate your device and a copy of the data to a new account. To migrate to a new account, start by saving any photo stream photos you wish to keep to your camera roll (unless already there) by opening your my photo stream album, tapping Select, tapping the photos, tap the share icon (box with upward facing arrow), then tapping Save to Camera Roll. If you are syncing notes with iCloud, you'll need to open each of your notes and email them to yourself so you can later copy and paste the text into new notes created in your new account. Then go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account (which only deletes it from this device, not from iCloud; others keeping the account will not be effected by this), choose Keep on My iDevice and provide the password to turn off Find My iPhone. Then sign back in with a different Apple ID to create your new account and choose Merge to upload your data.
Once you are on your own account, you can go to icloud.com and manually delete any data you don't want in your account without effecting anyone else. -

If you have the old phone, connect it to iTunes, right click on the device, and choose transfer purchases. If you no longer have the old phone, I don't believe there is a way to recover them, as they were on your original device.

It sounds like you would like to delete all the songs from your iPad but still be able to access them in iTunes Match. You can delete all the songs from the Music section of your Usage in Settings by swiping your music left:

Removing and Reinstalling iTunes, QuickTime, and other software components for Windows XP
or
Removing and reinstalling iTunes and other software components for Windows Vista, Windows 7, or Windows 8
However, after your remove the Apple software components also remove the iCloud Control Panel via Windows Programs and Features app in the Window Control Panel. Then reinstall all the Apple software components
- New cable and different USB port
- Run this and see if the results help with determine the cause
