The normal process is to request the unlock with the carrier. They process it and pass it on to Apple to be applied to the Apple's iPhone database. The carrier would then inform you when Apple has provisioned the unlock, and you would restore your iPhone as a new device in iTunes to apply the unlock (you would get a message at the end of that restore as new in iTunes indicating the unlock was successfully applied). You could then restore your iPhone from backup to get everything back as it was.
However, for some carriers, you seem to beed to complete the iTunes restore from within the country where they provide service. Regardless, have you tried restoring as new in iTunes to see if it processes any provisioned unlock request? Just be sure to backup the iPhone first, before restoring as new.

Events replace rolls (if your rolls are named - NOT the default rollxxx name - they will come across as is - to me events are rolls with much more capability and a new name - some people are VERY putoff by the change (but most love it) for reasons that I simply do not comprehend
10) What is the effective (or advised) maximum library size? I've probably got over 60GB of images in my libraries now, with 20,000 images or so. If 7 can readily digest them (and preserve all my albums, etc.), then I'd love to combine them into one, unless that will kill performance, make the database unstable, drive backups into interminable waits, etc.
The advertised max is 250,000 photos - I have about the same number of photos as you in about 1/3 the space - there are a few users here with libararies your size. With iPhoto Library Manager it is easy to maintain multiple libraries if you choose

So, my Iphone 4 now has a black screen. Before it did this I unlocked the screen (which has a passcode) try to open instagram and the screen flashed and went black. I can make calls and it seems to send messages but I dont know for sure because the screen is black. The power button (sleep) does not work and when I try to reset the phone it makes a call. I never synced it to a computer or Itunes and I didnt start photo stream. I want to preserve the pictures because it has photos of family members that have passed. Is there a way to get the photos?? Help please!
If you have attempted the reset, which is holding the home button and sleep/wake button, was it still connected to the computer? Have you tried to do that when not connected. You stated it never came on, how long did you hold the buttons together? If you cannot get it to connect to iTunes then you would not be able to restore the device. You can see if you can put the device into Recovery Mode by following the instructions in this support document. If that does not work, then you are correct, make an appointment at the Apple Store. I have tried to get a magazine subscription D/L on my IPAD without success for almost a year now. I called the mag company and they had some tech difficulties but I have never received my subscription. I asked for my $19.99 back they told me to contact Itunes. How do you do that?? The only thing to do is to follow the information on the support document that you linked from that talks about not syncing with a computer. Read further down. You will have to restore the phone as new. Also, make sure you have the Apple ID and password for the original owner that activated the phone, unless they have already deactivated Find My iPhone.

iPhone 5, iOS 7.0.4Backup and restore your software via iTunes. If the problem continues, restore as a NEW device. If this solves it, that means there is some corruption in your backup file. If the problem is still there, you should take it to the Genius Bar at an Apple Store for evaluation.

Depending on which device you used to purchase the audiobook, you may have to specifically enable its sync.

If you are expecting to hear some sort of alerting sound from the phone, the only alert is a rather quiet beep when the recording starts. There really isn't anything else.
If you are attempting to capture sounds along with the recording, it should do so automatically, but only sounds it can pick up. Louder noises in close proximity may block out sounds from farther away.Also, make sure your fingers are not blocking the microphone port. -

The fact is there might be another way to recover your lost iPhone files via iTunes on your Mac machine. This Mac utility is able to extract & restore iTunes backup files for your lost iPhone data. Not too many Mac users know that each time you sync data between your iDevice (iPhone, iPod, iPad) and iTunes, all previous records will be backed up by iTunes automatically and saved as (.sqlitedb) files.
