Why won't iTunes open and what does this error message mean?

I can't open up my iTunes. I've tried reinstalling it but it still doesn't work. I get an error message that reads: The procedure entry point kCMByteStreamNotification_AvailableLengthChanged could not be located in the dynamic link library CoreMedia.dll. I press ok and then another message pops up reading: iTunes was not installed correctly. Please reinstall iTunes. Error 7 (Windows error 127). I don't get an error message when I hook up my iPod but it doesn't bring up iTunes either and restarting my computer doesn't seem to help. I don't want to completely remove iTunes from my computer because I'm afraid I'll lose most of my music since most of it were on CDs which I no longer have. Help?

I am having this same problem. I took Kappy advice on restarting the Apple Mobile Device Service, however that did not work. I got this message in a pop up window that came up immediately.
Windows could not start the Apple Mobil Device Service on local computer.
Error 1053 The service did not respond to the start or control request in a timely fashion.
I have already uninstalled itunes, all the related programs and I cannot reinstall, this Apple Mobil Device message stops the install.
Can anyone please help?

We setup the free conductor with a Virtual TP server with demo licenses and we were even able to make a call to a VMR but when we called again everything stopped working and we got this error on conductor.
I checked the TP server and the licenses are there.

I have a situation and was hoping that you guys could look into it. I am currently working on my project using NetBeans 5.5. I downloaded the Sun Java System Application server (SJSAS) for project purposes. As usual, I will need to start the server. However, a pop-up error occured indicating that the server is not functioning due to certain reasons. I do not know how are the errors related to my project. Thus, I seek help from all you brilliant thinkers!
P.S: The Error says;
The Sun Java System Application System could not start.
More information about the causes is in the Server log file.
Possible reasons include;
- IDE timeoout: refresh the server node to see if its running now.
- Port conflicts. (use netstat - a to detect possible port numbers already used by the operating system.)
- Incorrupt server configuration (domain.xml to be corrected manually)
- Corrupted Deployed Applications preventing the server to start. (This can be seen in the server.log file. In this case, domain.xml needs to be modified).
- Invalid installation location.
What I've done so far;
- I placed the Server installation in :C drive.
- I also receive an output in NetBeans stating that it could not listen on port 1527 on host localhost.
- The project im currently working on is Java Pet shop to explore on the API codes.

example:
String str= "Any Text";

Java say:
java.lang.StringIndexOutOfBoundsException: String index out of range: -42
--> String str value ("Any Text"), length are 8 character... I try to read the 50 charcter... then out by 42 !!

HT1766 hi, just got a replacement phone, tried to restore a back up, but keeps asking for my password, i type it in, and it keeps saying incorrect password...please help

its a 4s, backed up on the 5/sept at 10.49pm, trying to restore on 7/sept and it saus password incorrect.
have tried 1234, 0000, and my only itunes password, and the lock phone password i had when i restored it.
resarted my computer, turned device on and off....still cant do it..
i'm annoyed now!

Because when you first saved an encrypted backup that is the password you used. The backup password does not "track" your password changes; it stays with what you started with unless you change it.

I'm using old fashioned resources with DLOG and DITL, etc... but DLOG 2002 exists, so... I'm not sure what's up.
ETA: After re-saving the resource file n times it didn't help. Re-saving the n+1th time, made the error go away.

Ok, so "systemflippers" is a endianness thing in, where? the compiler? run-time? resource manager? and what does the error mean? Just knowing what systemflippers does (I sort of figured it was something like that) doesn't tell me what the error means.

I finally solved this on my own. I installed iTunes 9.2 on my Mac. You can get it from here:

Then I went to the iOS 3 purchase page here:

and clicked the Purchasing link. It opens up iTunes. I connected my iPod touch G1 and did a check for system update. Miraculously, it found it this time and downloaded the update.
No guarantee that this'll work for you, but I'm finally able to use my iPod touch again and put on some useful apps.

You need to adjust your security stuff/ permissions and possibly use compatibility modes. It means that your licensing service is being blocked/ shut down.

That's a hardware problem which will require a trip to the Apple store for evaluation, unless your phone has been jailbroken, then it's a corrupt hosts file (and we can't help you with that here as it is against the forum's terms of use).

Do driver pixma iP 1500 good for my printer, Canon pixma iP 1200? Or maybe need install other driver?

Before you go through the effort of reinstalling the drivers, I think this might be an issue on the pritner side. What error are you getting on the computer? Also, do you get any error codes on the printer as well like E 1, E 2, etc..?
