Now when I start iMovie '11 and try to update, a message says no projects or events can be found? I know there are previous projects and events, and they definitely have not been updated because they do not show up in my iMovie'11 library, events, or projects. Any suggestions?

I also have Jolly's problem. I found the iMovie 9.0.9 folder and tried to launch the older version of iMove. It would not launch. I removed all of the iMovie preferences from the Preferences folder, removed iMove 10 from the applications folder, and restarted my Mac. iMove 9.0.9 still won't launch and I can't access my videos created with the older version of iMovie. Is there a way to uninstall iMovie 10 and reinstall iMovie 9.0.9?
I am running Yosemitie on a iMac.

Try holding down the Option key when emptying the Trash.

This normally indicates a network issue! Could be timing out due to lack of internet speed, security software could be interupting the connection, or the computer can not process the internet as fast as most! the following link should provide some idea's:

Firefox updated last night and now when I click on an external link I get a message saying "There was a problem sending the command to the program".

I've tried opening a link to a POP3 email account off of a messenger program as well as other site links sent to me through a messenger program. I get the same message, each time.

I have Windows 7 Pro, 64Bit. Itunes works fine except I can't go to the ITunes store from in the software. It starts and then goes blank page. I have tried all the fixes and had a IT group working all day on this. Not fixed. Any suggestions?

HT1414 I am able to see my laptop in my home share on my iPad but i can't see my iPad library on my laptop. I have tried to turn on and off the homeshare on my laptop but it still does not work. Any suggestions?

Your library should reside on your computer, the iPad is simply a mirroring what you sync to it from iTunes. If you have anything on the iPad the is different then you may risk losing it.
Should you need to transfer anything so you can sync to iTunes (which you can do wired or wirlessly) there are 3rd party programs

If your iPhone is timing out when connected to your computer, it sounds like a connection issue.

Where one of the errors it addresses is
An alert messages indicates "iPhone has timed out" during syncing.

Oh goodness,SLEEPER888. We wish you didn't have this problem while trying to complete this update.You have done quite a bit of troubleshooting on your own. If the phone update does not take, we would need to replace it with the warranty. Is it still locked up?

big help. In our session we keep getting this problem where the song counter stops, the music keeps playing and we get an error message saying:
Non Tempo-Event found in Sync Reference
We looked in the tempo list and somehow there was a tempo event of 0.00 tempo in there.
We deleted it, got the same error message, but the prob seems to be fixed.
Apple, please fix this!

The Apple id that you created do you remember if you created with your region sellected as Canada or US. If so you can change Region directly on your device by clicking on App Store icon, Scroll to bottom and tap your app is, click view acct and change region
