Html creator in Blackboard CE does not open.

When sending mail or setting up assignments when enabling HTML creator. In Safari it stops two-thirds of the way in during the upload. In Mozilla it just freezes!
Trying to set up online classes is the biggest headache with your newer versions of Firefox. 3.6.16 was the last good working version

Ok, what I am doing is just :

So, my AIR calls that "coder.php" file, which is basically a very basic code, with some links, but these links are with "_blank" option activated, so when you click on it , the link will open a new browser... right ?
When I display my "coder.php" file from a browser (IE, Firefoz, etc) the links work fine, but when I work it from my AIR file, and click on such links... they do not open any new browser....

Here is a copy/paste from an older RoboHelp HTML CHM file that we might use as an example:
Window-level Help for Windows applications
To call a topic using a map number, make a call to the HTML Help API using the following syntax:
HWND HtmlHelp(Window(), “c:\path\helpfile.chm”, HH_HELP_CONTEXT, Number);
To call a topic using a file name, make a call to the HTML Help API using the following syntax:
HWND HtmlHelp (Window(), “c:\path\helpfile.chm”, HH_DISPLAY_TOPIC, "topicfile.htm");

NO - not correct. Even if you are still using iWeb 08, you can still publish to another host and not MobileMe. You do this by selecting the option 'Publish to a local folder" and this will publish the site to your desktop and you can then use an ftp programme such as Cyberduck to upload your site to your host.
MobileMe will not be here after the end of June, so you will have to find alternative hosting. They are not taking any new subscriptions.
On new Macs, iLife 11 is pre-installed, but only iPhoto, iMovie and GarageBand are included, not iWeb and iDVD. The Apple Online store is not selling the boxed version of iLife 11 any longer, so if you want to upgrade to iLife, then you'll have to look online at Amazon.com or Amazon.co.uk for a boxed set of either iLife 09 or iLife 11. Both contains iWeb 09, which is what you would want.

Firefox previously worked fine but after installing new version does not open. Opens in the same day that I install it but not after restarting computer.

I just installed the new version of firefox. My firefox worked fine with the previous version. But the new version only works on the day I install it but the next time i start my computer it does not work. It does not open after clicking the icon. I even uninstalled it and then reinstalled it but again the same thing happened. I have no idea about plug ins etc. but I did not install any new ones.

This is a very interesting issue. Let's start with trying [[safe mode]], [[managing profiles|new profile]], and [http://firefox.com/all-older.html installing an older version] - if one of these works, please don't do the rest and reply here.

PDF files does not open in IE 8

Premiere elements 12 does not open

i have photoshop and premiere elements 12. the photoshop works fine, but the premiere does not open. when clicked on the hard drive spins for a short time but nothing opens. using windows 7.

When you go to the Control Panel/Install Programs, is Premiere Elements 12 shown to be installed on the Windows 7 (assumed 64 bit) computer? After the program installation and restart of the computer, you should have gotten a Sign In dialog. You need to give you Adobe ID and password there for the program activation.
When you are trying to get the program to respond, are there error messages being deposited in the Event Viewer (Computer/Manage/Event Viewer/Windows Logs/Applications)? Have you checked for any error messages there?
If you look at the Notepad document for the Hosts File, does it look like this default representation

etc
and in the etc Folder is the hosts file.
Right click on the hosts file followed by Open and select Notepad. This should
give you what you see in the screenshot above. If you see anything below the line
# ::1 localhosts
then we need to check that out.
The antivirus is the most likely candidate to look at in the troubleshooting scheme, but also
check out any firewall involvement as well.
Are you all set on permissions - Run As Administrator and User Account with Administrative Privileges? Is your Internet connection OK? Latest version of QuickTime installed?
Although Premiere Elements is not mentioned specifically in the following Adobe document, I have seen Adobe Staff make reference to it for Premiere Elements troubleshooting purposes, you may want to check it out

Transaction iView(from remote source) does not open a new SAP session

Hi All,
We are on portal 7.4 and are calling a transaction from ECC system. Within the transaction we have a button which displays graphs based on the output of the transaction. Since we are calling this transaction from portal, a new session does not open after clicking on this button.
In order to enable a new session, I have changed the configuration for 'disable new session buttons in SAP GUI' to false yet the new SAP session does not open. I have also verified the webgui setting and ensured that we do not have '~singletransaction' maintained, yet we are unable to enable the new session. Could you kindly suggest on how I can get this button to function?
Additional inputs:
- Referred to note 125814 for changing the new sessions value.
- Tried changing the iview type to 'SAP GUI for window' from SAP HTML type(which was default).
- In case I type '/o' in the command box for SAP, it gives me a 'maximum sessions reached' message, but this message does not come when I click on this button. In fact, nothing happens after I click on the button.
I still think there might be a possibility to enable this, however, I seek your inputs on this.

Need help: Portfolio does not open in my browsers

I view a portfolio that opens in IE (v.10.0) but the same portfolio does not open in Chrome (v.42.0) or Firefox (v.37.0.1)-- instead only the Cover Sheet appears. I have Adobe Reader 11.0 and Acrobat XI Pro installed. Are there any special browser settings that I need to set? Thank you.

Workspace webapp does not open up after upgrade to EPM11.1.2.2

Before the upgrade it, HSS+Workspace+EAS+APS used to run on OHS. I have now configured all the managed servers to run on Embedded WebLogic server, so we are no longer using the 19000 OHS (web server) port.
I try to access Workspace from port 28080 as follows: http://foundation-server.company.com:28080/workspace/index.jsp
I have successfully used the same EPM11.1.2.2 upgrade configuration in DEV and QA and workspace opens up on 28080 (though there are issues with it running on IE9.. but that seems to be an isolated issue). So I will look for duplicate Workspace entries in the registry report ..

IDVD 8 Does Not Open

I just upgraded to iLife 8. All the other programs work well, but iDVD does not open. It goes through the motions of opening, and shows the "new project" window for a fraction of a second, and then quits itself. I've tried opening up previous projects just to get it to open, without success. Any thoughts?

Captivate 6.0 does not open linked PDF correctly

We have Captivate 6.0.0.199 and are creating a project that will be delivered OFFLINE (either as html or as exe).
Within the project there is a button that links to an external PDF file.
Result: When launching the published project, the PDF does not open.
I have tested 2 attempts:
#1: I have entered the filename of the pdf just "naked" into the button action field ("zertifikat_de.pdf") leaving out any pathname. After publishing I have copied the pdf file into the same level as the other files (on my local harddrive).
Result: the locally started exe (or html) application does not open the pdf (nothig happens).
#2: I have used the fileselect-box to enter the file location of my pdf; so Capivate stores in the action box this:
"C:\Users\ast\Documents\LBET\translation\43_Captivate\zertifikat_de.pdf"
When publishing Captivate telle me to copy the linked files into the publish folder.
Yes, I copy the pdf into the publish folder.
Result: The published application does open a pdf but THE WRONG ONE! It references to the original source file location where cptx and the original pdf is. When I delete the pdf there, the published application DOES NOT open a pdf.
It seems the published application expects my development filepath on the end user macnine. Thats strange.
We need to make this application run e.g. on CD or in any arbitrary folder.
How can I get Captivate to do this?

If you're intending to eventually deliver this from "arbitrary folders" on a LAN or from a CD ROM, then you're also going to run into lots of issues with Flash Global Security preventing your links from working.
