HTML Gallery language

Hi,
I need to change the HTML web gallery navigation "word" Next, Previous and Index to norwegian language. I see that the words get hardcoded into every html file.
Where can I change these words - is there a language file or "important words" file?
Thanks!

Sorry, I see that the Javascript snippets in my original post are being executing by the web browser when the message is read.
The 2 lines of Javascript, cleverly (ahem) encoded, might be visualized:
document (dot) write ( <html anchor tag>Home<close html anchor tag>);
document (dot) write ( <html anchor tag>Site Map<close html anchor tag>);

  • Adobe Bridge CS6, Output to HTML Gallery coding issue.

    Adobe Bridge CS6, Output to HTML Gallery coding issue.
    I have created the html, JavaScript, css file using the output function in Bridge CS6, which nicely generates the coding, pages, folders and files. I can edit the html files such as gallery title, name, etc., in Dreamweaver CS6 just fine and preview them in a selected browser (both chrome and IE) and everything works fine.
    When I ftp upload the files and directories into my hosting account (Go Daddy), the images do not show up. The file table appears but the thumbs images does not appear and when selected to preview the larger image, it does not appear either. I have not altered the file structure at all. Go Daddy says it is a coding issue, but I cannot fine any errors.
    Have you seen this issue before? All Adobe help research have failed. Any suggestions??

    Have you asked on Go Daddy site for help in uploading Adobe Bridge script?  Just to say it is coding is not helpful.

  • How do I create an Lightroom HTML Gallery and preserve the - in the file name?

    How do I create an Lightroom HTML Gallery and preserve the - in the file name?
    The hyphen (-) is more search engine friendly, so I label all my photos using hyphens (-) to separate the keywords in the file name
    Here's a sample file name - it's for the "Guess Where Berkeley" flickr site
    guess-where-berkeley-serkes-xx-s-curve.jpg
    I created a Lightroom HTML Gallery and posted it to the following link.
    http://www.berkeleyhomes.com/tests/lightroom/lightroom-test-1/
    Though it looksl like the HML gallery shows the original file name in the web page, it looks like Adobe Lightroom modified each photo's file name by changing the - (hyphen) to an underscore (_)

    InDesign's interactive PDF support is a small subset of what you can do in Acrobat Profesional.
    I think you probably want to create a button (or change an existing button) in Acrobat Pro that causes Acrobat to close the document -- that should be analagous to "exitting the CD." I assume your autorun file is opening the PDF in Adobe Reader? You have not included it and are not specific, so it is tough to say.
    I believe in Acrobat Javascript you can close the document with this.closeDoc(). You'll probaly need to ask on the Acrobat forums (possiby Acrobat Scripting) for more detail.

  • Photoshop CS5 Bridge HTML Gallery Questions

    Have upgraded to CS5 from CS3 and am trying to create HTML Web Galleries that are similar to what we have been creating in CS3.
    I no longer have control of the size of the thumbnails created for the Index pages and cannot create less than 3 rows of thumbnails.
    We used to create 2 rows and 4 columns of 200 pixel thumbnail images.
    Is this something that can be modified if we downloaded the SDK and worked with scripting?

    I have found the same problem when I went from CS3 to CS4 and continued the same problem in CS5 then I researched the "Output" and "Web Gallery" section again a little more thoroughly.  Found that in almost every gallery provided there is a way to change the size and/or quantity of thumbnails in your gallery.  For instance the "HTML Gallery"  in the "Appearance" section you can change the size of the original picture (your larger picture) and the quantity of thumbnails that show up per page. Next you can save your changes in the "output" section under "Style:"  While using the "Filmstrip" template you can change the size of your thumbnails in the "Appearance" section. Hope this helps

  • HTML gallery drawing incorrectly

    I'm new to Lightroom, having used Bridge for web galleries in the past.
    I'm using LR 2.1.
    I created an HTML gallery with the default gallery that comes with LR.
    A couple of my images are not rendering correctly in IE7 when viewed from the LR-created web page. However, if I navigate directly to the JPG file, it renders correctly.
    Here are screenshots of a small portion of the images...
    http://www.bhpowell.com/lr/
    As you can see, some areas render as gray spots instead of a dark (nearly black) color.
    The images seem to render okay with Firefox, but not IE7.
    The source of the image is in the sRGB color space.
    I've tried re-creating the files, and used different JPEG compression settings. (The latter seems to have some affect on the gray spots, but they are still there.)
    Exporting from Bridge doesn't have this problem, but I don't have as many web options when exporting from Bridge CS4.
    In LR, the "Library" and "Develop" tabs don't show the artifacts, but the "Web" tab shows the gray spots, though not as many as the final output.
    What am I doing wrong?
    Thanks.
    Brian

    After a little investigation, I discovered that PNGs also do not render correctly in IE7 in similar circumstances.
    I ended up using Levels in Photoshop to bring the output blacks up to "5", saved the images as PNGs, modified the HTML from .jpg to .png, and that seems to have covered up the problem well enough.
    By the way, I did confirm that IE8 beta 2 renders the images correctly.

  • HTML Gallery, metadata and image download

    hi,
    I find Bridge collections really useful and output to html gallery template pretty good looking as a quick way to show prospect clients themed presentations of my work. There are two issues though which I hope someone can help with, or that Adobe would change if  listening in on this.
    Whereas the html gallery template reads the metadata like description, title and filename,  metadata is being stripped from the image when image is downloaded from gallery.
    That the image can be downloaded and that meta data is stripped from the image files are two reasons not to use what otherwise could have been an excellent product.
    I would prefer the coding of this html gallery to prevent download of individual image files and as content providers we totally rely on metadata being contained with image file. Are there ways I can change this without going to script amendements?
    If the solution should not be with adobe, could anyone suggest another product that could cater for this need?
    Many thanks in advance.
    Torunn

    Amendments (and apologies for errors in my original post. Copyright status, -notice and -url are indeed contained in metadata for downloaded image, so not so bad then Wish list thus shortended to description field and the IPTC contact data. Though why not all?

  • Bridge CS4 HTML Gallery

    All of a sudden, the HTML Gallery option in Output/Web Gallery is gone! It's still available on my laptop, so I can still access it. But where did it go and how can I get it back?
    I made the mistake of updating the CS4 products...maybe that was it.
    Anyone know how to get it back? I'm running CS4 Design Premium [Mac].
    Thanks in advance.
    Margot
    ps. I did a search but only found Windows downloads...

    the Web Gallery template HTML Gallery is still not there.
    Personally I don't use Webgallery and accidentally assumed that you can (like in the PDF section for Output Module that I use a lot) create your own custom template but that seems not the case.
    However I did find the possible location of the webgallery in the library on rootlevel. Choose your start up disk icon and follow the path: Library / Application Support/ Adobe/ Bridge CS4 Extensions/ Adobe Output Module/ mediagallery/ resources/htmlgallery.
    Do the same on your laptop and check if the htmlgallery folders are present on both system and have the same content inside. If not copy the one from the laptop to the new system and check if this solved the problem.
    Also check the presence of the other templates in the new system. If they are also gone it might be wise to use the uninstaller for CS4 and choose to uninstall Bridge, and reinstall it after you have checked and repaired permissions with Apple Disk Utility on your new system.

  • Bridge 4 html gallery modification

    I have been using a custom set of html templates for web photo galleries with CS3. The identical feature can be invoked from Bridge/Photoshop CS4 with the provided "extra" plugin.
    However, is there any way to tailor the "output / web gallery", html gallery template option of Bridge CS4 manually. I suspect that this should be a "style" option that I can create. For example, I wish to add buttons and other options to web gallery. I cannot find help information regarding this on Adobe's site.

    I have succeeded in doing some more extensive modification to the web gallery styles:
    By creating a new template style. In my case, I duplicated the html gallery style and giving it another name ("09myHTMLgallery"), then modifying the default settings within the file. The templates are located here: Library/Application Support/Adobe/Bridge CS4 Extensions/Adobe Output Module/mediagallery/resources/templates
    By modifying/hacking the master.css file, which is located here: Library/Application Support/Adobe/Bridge CS4 Extensions/Adobe Output Module/mediagallery/resources/htmlgallery
    Note that the above is based on using Photoshop/Bridge CS4 on a Mac.
    Step 1 is fairly straightforward. What i was able to do with Step 2 is change some of the default styles like ths size of the image numbers, which was really bugging me, and i was also able to add in an image/logo header at the top by inserting it as a background image into the sitetitle div.
    Definitely NOT an elegant work-around. And it doesn't address the image caption issue. But better than nothing.
    Hope this helps someone out there...

  • HTML Gallery Output error.

    I am trying to output a folder of photos into an html web gallery and getting an error.
    Web Gallery Output Error: I get an error when I try and do an HTML Gallery from CS6 Bridge on Windows 7 64bit. After hanging on "generating html for several minutes I get the following error.
    "An error occurred in a bridge extension. JavaScript Error (Auto-Stack Panorama/HDR:3042): Internal error."
    I am using  Bridge CS (Version 5.0.1.23 64bit).
    Windows 7. 64BIT on a PC.
    The error occurs on large and small batches. Preview and Save commands.
    Any help to get this working would be very welcome. I have rebooted to get a clean run of bridge with same results.
    Thank you so much,
    Clarke

    Nix on that. I enabled all previously disabled extensions using Extension Manager CS6 — they were all InCopy-related — and the same error occurs. I should mention the title of the error is 'An error occurred in a Bridge extension.'
    Which is why it's particularly annoying that EM doesn't support Bridge anymore — no way to see which extensions Bridge uses, nor manage them.
    Ah: problem solved. The default font shown was Hobo Std, of all things, and finally Bridge recognized it's a problem font and disabled it.

  • CS6 Bridge web gallery - HTML Gallery template problem

    In CS6 Bridge, a web gallery created with the HTML Gallery template puts the images in a directory with a path of content\bin\images. This prevents the images from being served from IIS - the bin directory is by default a "Hidden segment". There is no need for the directory hierarchy generated to use the name "bin".
    I know how to work around the issue, but it would be better if the issue was not present in the first place. I tried to report it as a problem on photoshop.com, but was unable to login.
    How do I report this problem to Adobe?

    (Me again, my previous Adobe ID broke). We don't have Dreamweaver, and the users who create and upload web galleries would not be able to use such tools (or a text editor which works on several files at the same time). My workaround is to have a directory dedicated to their web galleries using a web.config file of
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
    <configuration>
        <system.webServer>
            <security>
                <requestFiltering>
                    <hiddenSegments>
                        <remove segment="bin" />
                    </hiddenSegments>
                </requestFiltering>
            </security>
        </system.webServer>
    </configuration>
    So that the HTML web galleries' "bin" sub-directories are accessible.

  • Bridge HTML Gallery Coding

    I used Bridge to create a photo gallery using the HTML Gallery Template to place on a website.  I need the html page that is created to have a different name than the default index.html as well as contain my own header and navigation buttons.  That's easy to fix.  Here's the problem.  When a person clicks on a thumbnail a larger image opens up and just above that large image a person has a choice of clicking on the words Previous, Index, Next.  Previous and Next work as expected taking you to the larger view of the image that is either before or after the one you are viewing.  If I click on the word Index it takes me to a view of the thumbnails but not the page I had edited and renamed.  Where do I find the coding to change the link for the word Index so I can change it from the default index.html to what I renamed the page to?  I've found pretty much everything else but not this link.  I'm sure I'm looking right at it and not seeing it!
    Thanks for your help.
    Sue

    I’ve only looked at this briefly, but as far as I can tell:
    The “Index” link points to index.html inside the content folder, not the index.html in the root of the web gallery folder. That’s the file you need to rename and add your extra code to.
    If you rename index.html, you’ll also need to change the name throughout all the code or you’ll get a “page not found” error. This is best done with a text editor that can do multi-file find and replace, such as TextWrangler for Mac (not sure of Windows equivalent, but there must be many out there).

  • Bridge CS6 Output to HTML Gallery - images not showing up

    Bridge CS6 Output to HTML Gallery issue - my images are not showing up. The files look the same on the local and remote files. The images populate on the local and not on the remote. Is this a JavaScript problem.
    Any help is appreciated.
    I've done a work around solution by using Lightroom, creating a quick collection for a custom order HTML web gallery. I would much prefer to stay within Bridge CS6 and have its HTML gallery actually work...

    Hi AlbiDan,
    Its possible that it might be a Javascript issue. I see that javascript is used in the HTML gallery. Did you upload through Bridge or from an FTP client? Do you have the URL for a broken gallery?

  • Add Lightroom 2.0 HTML Gallery to iWeb

    When I create a slideshow in Lightroom it produces an HTML Gallery, not a .swf file. Files are created and I do not get an HTML code that I can copy and paste into the iWeb snippet. Where do I upload this folders' contents to MobileMe's iDisk and how do I link to it in iWeb? I'm wanting to create a slideshow that will run in the iWeb page, not have the slideshow open on a page of its own.

    Put the folder in the iDisk > Web > Sites folder.
    Determine the correct link to the page in the browser as you would with any page :
    http://web.me.com/username/Lightroomfolder/
    Or use your domainname.
    Then paste a <iframe> in the HTML Snippet with the URL to your slideshow as the src :
    <iframe src="http://url.to.file.html" frameborder="0" width="500" height="500" scrolling="no" allowTransparency="true"></iframe>

  • How to Create a Persistent button on the top HTML gallery

    Hi,
    In my InDesign Folio I have an article with full page HTML photo gallery. The photo grid occupies the full screen. I want to create a Persistent button on the top of this gallery which user can tap to go to the Main Menu page. This button is  always visible at one place even as user scrolls up and down the gallery. I tried creating it on the top layer, and on the top layer for Master page, but the button disapperas when the HTML gallery loads.
    So the user does not see any button to navigate out of the gallery to another article.
    Any ideas how to create the persistent button ?
    Thanks in advance.
    -MP

    Depending on if you are using the HTML as either an article or in an overlay, you may be able to either use the standard navto and goto hyperlinks syntax or place a blank button on top of your link in the HTML.
    I am not sure if using the standard navto and goto syntax will work between an HTML article and an Indesign article. Maybe Bob Bringhurst, Bob Levine, or one of the staff members can clarify. If you are using your HTML in an overlay, you can add a transparent button on top of your link or image to return to whatever page you like.
