Html panel + button + onclick

HI Everybody!
I'm sorry for my language skill but I can't speak english very good but I hope you understand what am I want.
So I have a problem because so I would like to make a button with an onclick attr. like this:
<input type="button" onclick="categ.loadContent('example.html');" value="whatever">
but it is doesn't work ... I don't know why.. because the categ object is exist..
I got this error msg: "categ.loadContent is not a function" but if I replaced the button to an "a" tag like this:
<a href="javascript:categ.loadContent('example.html');">link</a> it is work

I use the following code, for example, on my page buttons (region buttons) to disable them after they have been clicked by the user

Give this a try. It is very similar to yours. It is used on an html button to guard against double clicking.
Put this in the URL Target. PROCESS is the name value of the button

#Include or run script from HTML panel button?

I'v been trying to make a panel with the HTML widget and I keep running into issues. The buttons I made wont run the scripts. Is there a way to include js for PS inside the html to run when the button is pressed? <script></script> doesn't seem to work for things inside of PS. Or is there a way to run a script in PS from a button?
I guess I have multiple questions really. Do you always have to use _AdobeInvokeScript inside the button? I have seen some examples without it and I'm not sure what works and what doesn't.

Ye, I know this,.. it`s was my just suggestion...
So. The solution in this string:

Everything else is identical, in my script and in your. Of course except alerts. I remove them, and now i have just my button which works fine....
And may be you can suggest, why does not work "my" method of running the script?

HTML Panel into HTML Panel

Hello,
I know this topic has been seen a lot, but I still can't find
the answer for me...
Well, it's easy, I use html panels to load content into my
website (I have a SPRYMenu wich loads content into the
"main" div)
But, when I load content including another HTML Panel, it
doesn't work...
I've set the evalscripts to true, but it doesn't work...
here is a small portion of code coming from the exaples, wich
looks like what i want to do, even if in this code, it loads a
slidingPanel, not a HTLMPanel, but I think if I can make it work,
I'll be able to do what I want then !

No Script are working in SPRY HTML panel

I'm getting trouble with this website :

I've have 2 HTML fragments with lightbox and a spry contact
form in them but no one is working. When I bypassed the HTML panel,
my scripts work fine.
I've use the evalScripts:true but still nothing.

My contact form is now working fine, but what about the
lightbox for the page Realisation? It has a lightbox effect on
clicking an image inside the HTML fragment. This lightbox do not
work. No error message is reported in firebug. I find this odd.
The lightbox effect works fine for the button plan, because
it's found outside the HTML fragment. Anything in the HTML panel
fails.

Controlling a Spry HTML panel with a Jump Menu

Hi, I wonder if anyone can help.
I've implemented a HTML panel within a page to display different page elements and have it working no problem with a simple href and an onClick event but I would like to control what is displayed by using a jump menu (drop down list) - any idea how I can control that to populate the necessary DIV?
eg: <select name="site" size=1 onChange="hpanel.loadContent(this.href); return false;"> (obviously this doesn't work!)

first panel to support java script code adding the preventScript

On the file that is loaded, frag-0.html make a link to load a
new panel like this:

HTML panel bug?

I've completed and tested an HTML panel that I built. Everything is good to go EXCEPT that on Mac I'm experiencing some strange behavior. Every once in awhile my extension will glitch a bit (the fonts and buttons resize for a split second). After this I'm no longer able to use pulldowns and some variables aren't updating. I'm using localStrorage and thought that might be the problem but window.localStorage.clear() doesn't solve the problem. The only solution is to create a new folder, dump all my folders and script into that. Then I have to create a new index.html and overwrite the content. Everything is fixed....for a while. The panel uses Node and some node_modules as well as jQuery and CSS.

Looking over my manifest it looks like I changed <RequiredRuntime Name="CSXS" Version="4.0" /> to <RequiredRuntime Name="CSXS" Version="5.0" />. The error didn't cause problems at first but eventually popped up. Hopefully this means everything is OK now.

HTML Panel with Tabs like Sliding Panel tabs

Hi, what do I need to add/change to have HTML panels
switching with tabs that switches background image like the tabs in
sliding panels example?
Or can I modify the
sp_withTabs.js to have graphic tabs work with HTML
Panels?

Nevermind, I got it. I used the SpryTabbedPanels.js and
modified the SpryTabbedPanels.css with my graphics, size, position
and what not.
I do have one more question. I'm using HTML Panels with Fade
in and out and when loading my page I have to have default content
in the main html doc for something to display when the page loads.
Then when I click on the first button, it then loads the real
external HTML panels. Is there any way I can load my first external
HTML page right when my site loads?

Calling a method with a html Submit button

hi guys,
is it possible to call a method from a JSP file using a HTML submit button. I know i can call another website easily doing it this way, is there a similar way available to call a method once the button is clicked?

The method is in a bean file named jdbc. The methods name is getUsername.

Images not loading in Spry HTML Panel

Hallo everyone
I am using links to load html fragments in a Spry HTML Panel, just like in the example page

The whole structure is inside a Spry Tabbed Panel.
All works ok if the target html pages are in the same directory as the mother page.
Images are standard in the "images" folder
The problem starts when I try to organise all the html fragments in a separate directory.
Updating links in all the html files is of course done correctly, images included.
Then the problem starts.
The html fragments load but with no images.
When I open the html fragments directly by the browser all is ok.
Any ideas would be appreciated

Can you upload your pages to a server and give us a link?
If your images are in your site folder (no matter which directory), but they are not showing up in your fragments, it is likely that the paths are wrong. The images (it seems to me) should exist on the fragment and be linked from there.
I won't have a chance to fiddle around with this right now, but if your images are linked to the fragment locations and that does NOT work, try linking them as if they were on the page that is showing the fragments. I'm not familiar (yet) with this widget.

Multimedia touch panel buttons on Satellite A500 are not all working

Hello,
I recently purchased an A500 (PSAR9A-02J001) laptop running Windows 7 (32-bit) Home Premium. Not all the top Multimedia touch panel buttons are working. When buttons are pressed, the laptop makes a beeping sound (which is normal) but the corresponding function is not executed.
For example, the Eco button at the top doesn't switch on/off the eco and the mute button does not mute the volume.
Device manager shows all devices as working correctly.
There are no errors in the Event Viewer Application or System logs.
Please advise!

Change default setting for edit panel button.

In Elements 10 the default setting for the Edit panel button is expanded. I had it contracted which put it in the panel bin. That gave me a narrower panel bin and more editor workspace. After resetting the panels I am having trouble figuring out how to contract it back like it was. Does anyone know how to do this or have any ideas?

It seems that not having the (Full, Quick, and Guided) buttons in an (Edit panel) makes the panel bin wider. I had a narrow bin like in photodrawken's picture at one time. I can change the size of a panel by grabbing the line at the edge. But not the bin width. Was it a fluke that I had a Edit panel?

Automatic Pause (through program) and Manual Resume through front panel Button

Hi, I am trying to implement a system which measures voltage and current for a varying source voltage at varying temperature. The program acquires 5 pairs of voltage and current data. The issue here is that the source voltage is varied by manually changing the value of the variable resistor. What I would like to do is somehow pause the program automatically once the loop (for acquiring 5 V and I data pairs) has completed. Then, after the user manually changes the value of the variable resistor (and enters the new value through a front panel indicator), the user should be able to resume the program through a front panel button like in this example: https://decibel.ni.com/content/docs/DOC-10792
Is it possible to implement this in LabView?
In summary: I would like to implement a system in which the program would pause automatically after a condition has been fulfilled, and can be resumed through a front panel button.

Hi all! I've overhauled my program after learning how to create state machines in LabVIEW. I think I've managed to make it able to pause program execution by staying in the Initialize state if Pause After Measurement is set to True, only resuming measurement once the user has pressed the front panel button to Acquire Data. Attached is the code for the program.
