Http/1.1 302 found  - solution found!

Hi,
I've installed oracle 10.1.0.4, Windows2000 SP3, Http/server 9.0.4.0.0 and Apex 2.2.
Running an application in Apex I get several times messages from the HTTP-server:
a)html>HTTP/1.1 302 Found Date: Thu, 03 Aug 2006 19:56:14 GMT Server: Oracle-Application-Server-10g/9.0.4.0.0 Oracle-HTTP-Server Location: (APEX-page) f?p=9300:713:4338240711105049::::: Content-Length: 164 Keep-Alive: timeout=15, max=96 Connection: Keep-Alive Content-Type: text/plain
or
b)html>HTTP/1.1 200 OK Date: Thu, 03 Aug 2006 20:05:54 GMT Server: Oracle-Application-Server-10g/9.0.4.0.0 Oracle-HTTP-Server Content-Length: 27310 Keep-Alive: timeout=15, max=59 Connection: Keep-Alive Content-Type: text/html; charset=UTF-8
How can I get rid of these messages?
Any reaction will be appreciated.
Leo

Thanks for your reaction!
Here are my answers:
1)What is your database character set?
DUTCH_THE NETHERLANDS.WE8MSWIN1252
2)What is the character set of your Database Access Descriptor?
AMERICAN_AMERICA.AL32UTF8
3)Did you apply the supplied PL/SQL Web Toolkit patch, if necessary?
No. I only installed oracle 10g (10.1.0.2) and http-server from the companion cd, upgraded 10g to 10.1.0.4 (for datamining and workspace manager) and Apex 1.5. I upgraded 1.5 to 1.6 to 2.0 to 2.2. On a second-hand newly installed pentium3 with 512 mB. Under windows 2000 sp3.
On another computer with windows xp I did the same and there it works fine.
I had troubles to install 2.0 from scratch, therefore I have chosen to upgrade from the companion cd. A long but secure way (I thought).
4)Are you seeing this in your own application, or in using Application Express?
Only in my own application (nice question by the way)
5) If your own application, did you modify the page template at all? Is there a chance there's a Byte Order Mark before the opening html tag?
No, I imported the application without changes from htmldb.oracle.com (I’m developing it with two American fellows, and wanted my own backup.) I am not familiar with a byte Order Mark, and therefore Icann’t answer that question.
6) What browser and version are you using?
Internet Explorer, version 6.0

  • SOAP client receives HTTP 302 Found

    Hi all
I have a message interface for which I generated a wsdl pointing to the SOAP adapter:
    http://server:50000/XISOAPAdapter/MessageServlet?channel:=servicename:channelname
If I am using SAP Soap Client to send a request (http, HTTP Basic Auth.) everything is fine, the message is in the SOAP adapter, in IS and I receive a correct SOAP response.
But if am using other clients, e. g. SoapUI, I get an HTTP 302 Found error back before the data even reaches the SOAP adapter (no message there).
Has anybody an idea how to solve this or where to find more information about it?
    Thanks in advance

    Thanks for your answers,
but I am still lost with this error. The cluster only consists of one server node and the redirect posts to
    http*s*://server:5000*1*/XISOAPAdapter/MessageServlet?channel:=servicename:channelname
So it changes to https. Why is this? What is the client (which is a standard application that we cannot change) supposed to do?
    Thanks for any info

  • HTTP Error (302) Found when calling Web Service on XI

    Hi,
I have a scenario where a Client is calling a web service in XI using SOAP. The Client gets the response (302) Found. I don't see any message in XI Monitoring (SXMB_MONI).
The URL which is called has the following structure:
    http://host:port/XISOAPAdapter/MessageServlet?channel=:<service>:<channel>&nosoap=true
Any idea why the call fails, i.e. what the error message (302) Found means?
    Thanks in advance.

  • 302 Found

    Hello !
I'm trying to build a redirection between IBM WebSphere Application server and Sun ONE Web Server.
The purpose is that all requests coming from client are received by Sun ONE Web Server and then redirected to WebSphere and vice versa.
The client must not know about the redirection.
I installed WebSphere Web plugins which configures both the web and the application server to be aware of each others.
For the moment all I can get is a 302 Found http code on my client. I think it is because the web server wants my client to connect itself to the new adress it sent. But the thing i wanna do is to force the web server to ask directly to the application server. I installed reversed server proxy, nothing changed.
Any help would be really great !!!
    Thank you in advance.

It doesn't sound like you want to do a redirect. By definition, a redirect tells the client where to find the resource, but you said it "must not know about the redirection".
Instead, it sounds like you want Web Server to act as a reverse proxy to WebSphere. IBM provides a WebSphere plugin that can proxy certain requests to WebSphere. You need to configure which requests are proxied with WebSphere's plugin-cfg.xml file.
    There are other alternatives:
    1. Use Sun's Sun ONE Web Server 6.1 Reverse Proxy Plugin
    2. Upgrade to Sun Java System Web Server 7.0 which includes built-in reverse proxy functionality
In all three cases, you'll need to read the documentation to find out how to configure things correctly. If you still have problems, you might want to share your configuration files, access logs, error logs, a description of what actually happens, and a description of what you want to happen.

  • HTTP 404- File not found error xMII 11.5 SR3 install on Win XP Prof

    Hello Everyone,
I have tried installing xMII 11.5sr03 on Windows XP Professional 2002 sr2.
The installation of IIS5.1 along with scripts virtual directory was successful.
And so was the installation on xMII.
However when i open the SAP xMII Menu (http://localhost/Lighthammer/Menu.jsp )
or Security menu (http://localhost/LHSecurity/admin/). It shows the HTTP 404- File not found error.
IIS help and localhost homepage http://localhost/localstart.asp is working fine.
The License has also been copied to the Lighthammer license directory.
Can anybody tell me where/how to look for a solution ?
    Warm Regards,
    Amol

    Hi Ryan,
Its a fresh install and as mentioned in the guide i started with sr01 ,sr02 and
sr03. Since these were the only 3 files available for download from service marketplace for xMII 11.5.
I don't think there is a base 11.5 install available after which i go about installing the sr01 ,02 and 03 respectively.
Please let me know if there is any and where to get it from...
    Thanks for your suggestions.

  • HTTP 404 page not found error

    Hi all,
I am getting HTTP 404 Page not found error when I try to run the test_fwktutorial.jsp. I have followed the instructions of a similar thread but none have helped.
Kindly suggest me some solution to this problem.
    Thanks,
    Priya

I did a simple search for 404 in the forum and got at least 10 threads, I think this thread is relevant to you, please try the solution suggested in the thread
HTTP 404 Not Found error in JDeveloper 10.1.3.3.0 for Oracle Apps R12
    "Hi,
    Problem I faced:
When I try to run, test_fwktutorial.jsp in JDev 10.1.3.3.0 for Oracle Apps R12, I was getting the first page with the links, but when i click on any of the links, say "Hello World", I am getting a "HTTP 404 Not Found". Same error I got by directly running any of the tutorial pages, or any custom pages. CHecked all the normal setting options like: responsibility key, username/pwds etc.
Then I noticed in my address bar an error text:"You have insufficient privileges for the current operation".
    Solution I arrived at:
In one of the forums, I had come across the point that maybe my local machine and Application server were on different domains, due to which I was getting "You have insufficient privileges for the current operation".
    1. Hence I checked for the domain on which my local machine was in:
My Computer -> Properties -> Computer Name.
    2. There it was showing WORKGROUP instead of Domain.
    3. Here I clicked on the Change button and entered mycompany domain on which the server was like <companyidentier1>.<companyidentier2>.com
I had to do this even though the machine i was using was connected to the domain using a VPN connection.
    4. Then after restarting my machine, I changed the Embedded OC4J Server Preferences to Default Local IP Address. And when i ran my page, it worked!!
Before when I had not changed the domain of my local machine to the Apps Server domain, simply changing the Embedded OC4J Server Preferences to Default Local IP Address (as suggested in some forums), still gave me the same error.
Hope this helps others facing similar problems.
    Thanks

  • Error Message: The attempt to connect to the report server failed. Check your connection information and that the report server is a compatible version. The request failed with HTTP status 404: Not Found.

I have a web page that contains a ReportViewer control.  I am trying to display a report, which is an .rdl file located on the SSRS server, in this ReportViewer control.  I have set the ReportPath and ReportServerUrl correctly.  I am
    getting an error message.
Am I suppose to use an .rdlc file rather than a .rdl file?  Does the web server configuration need to use a certain account?
I am getting the following error message:
The attempt to connect to the report server failed. Check your connection information and that the report server is a compatible version.
The request failed with HTTP status 404: Not Found.

    Hi bucaroov,
The error "The request failed with HTTP status 404: Not Found." means the ReportServerURL configured in the ReportViewer control is invalid.
Please follow these steps to solve the issue:
    Logon the Report Server machine.
Open the Reporting Services Configuration Manager.
Copy the Report Server URL from 'Web Services URL'.
Logon the application server(in this case, it is the server that host the web page), check if we can use the URL we got from step 3 to access the Report Server. If so, please replace the ReportServerURL in the ReportViewer control with this URL. If it is
not available, could you please post the error message.
Additionaly, we don't need to provide the extension for a server report. The ReportPath should be like: /<reports folder>/<report name>
    For more information, please see:
