HTTP 1.1

Hi all,
I would want to know as I can make multiple transactions during a single persistent connection ( as it allows HTTP 1.1..).
Now, I close and reopen every time the HttpConnection object and I apply every time a new command GET. I would want to apply a single GET to give more datas through the DataInputStream.. How can I make? How I must implement the midlet side and the server side?
Thanks and regards,
Cesare

J2ME doesn't allow you to control that. Not calling close() or flush() on the connections might help but it is completely up to the midp-implementation to decide whether it want's to use persistent connections or not as it is not specified in MIDP

  • HTTPs connection from SAP WebAS

    Hello,
I have to establish a connection from SAP WebAS to an iSaSiLk server via HTTPS.
The iSaSiLk authentication is based on client certificates.
I've created a SSL client PSE, generated the Certificate Request, imported the certificate response and the chain of certificates associated  with no errors. When testing the connection we're getting the following error message:

Can anyone give me any suggestion?

    Hello Olivier,
    Thanks for your answer.
I've implemented note 800240 which facilitates the PSE analysis by implementing the report ZSSF_TEST_PSE. With this report I'm able to check all the PSE content, which are:

An iSaSiLk server "is a Java programming language implementation of the SSLv2 (client-side), SSLv3, TLS 1.0 and TLS 1.1 protocols. It supports all defined cipher suites (except for Fortezza), including all AES and PSK cipher suites. iSaSiLk implements all standard TLS extensions, comes with an easy to use API and operates on top of the IAIK-JCE Javau2122 Cryptography Extension. iSaSiLk is highly configurable and will work with any alternative JCE implementation supported by a proper provider for supplying the required cryptographic algorithms".
Once again thanks for your answer.

  • Upload Error message: HTTPS protocol is not supported

    Hi,
Whenever I do a quick par upload i'm getting an 'Operation failed' message to check sap-plugin.log.
       Log says
Upload Error message: HTTPS protocol is not supported, please ensure this server is not using HTTPS. My webdynpro applications are getting deployed without any issues.
         How to resolve this?
    Thanks
    Sumathi

    Hi Sumathi,
As there are often problems with the Quick PAR Upload reported, I would suggest to use the "normal" PAR upload from the icon tray (you have to activate the portal icons in the icon tray). That is almost that "quick" (one or two clicks more needed, we don't talk about more than a second) and - it works (it least it should, and at least it works in most cases even if the Quick PAR Upload fails).
    Hope it helps

  • Sharepoint foundation 2010 externel https access problems

I have a very strange problem with my sharepoint foundation 2010 site.
I have a site which is accessible from outside on https (we have a valid certificate). I configured IIS for http and https.
Also I configured internal and externel access for this site on sharepoint.
But sometimes, the site is not accessible from outside on https with (externe.site.fr), BUT  it will be accessible with public ip !!!
And also accessible from inside. (with interne.intranet.site.fr)
    Any Idea ?
    thanks

    Hi,
According to your post, my understanding is that your site is not accessible from outside using external host name with https sometimes.
As your site can be accessible with public IP, however it can’t be accessible from outside using external host name with https sometimes, the issue could be caused by the gateway server in your environment.
I suggest that you need to check the gateway server configuration.
For more information, you can refer to:

    Hi,
You can try with GUI_DELETE_FILE and give http location in FILE_NAME
    or WS_FILE_DELETE.
I am not getting any CNDP function module for your purpose.
    Hope you will get sucess..

    Hi,
I think your password is encrypted. Try replace password "a99fad1866af01d9375627d5d08d7f1c11ed4d3f6d5d2372d40908884a15b8e6" with your password.
    Or Get output of obfuscate("your password") and replace "a99fad1866af01d9375627d5d08d7f1c11ed4d3f6d5d2372d40908884a15b8e6" with {{@deobfuscate( output of obfuscate("your password") )}}

  • HTTP 500 error while opening pdf report in Workspace

    Hi all,
i have a HFM - FDM - Financial Reporting 11.1.1.3 installation at a custommer that is working fine.
Except for the fact that when i open a report (doesn't matter if it's from the studio or workspace) in pdf it gives an HTTP 500 internal server error.
I can open the report in HTML withous any problems.
I really don't have a clue where to search. Has anyone a suggestion?
    Thanks in advance,
    Marc

The above registry fix worked for me, however, I wanted to clarify the registry key to edit, since I think the poster above me forgot one of the folders:
    Regedit - > HKLM -> SOFTWARE -> Hyperion solutions -> HReports -> JVM ->JVM option 2 -> default is -xmx256m
The bolded part above was added to clarify
This fix can also be found in the Oracle KB, under the article name:
Error: "Error 500 Internal Server Error" When Generating Hyperion Financial Reports in PDF Format [ID 1111367.1]

  • I upgrade from the previous version to Firefox 4.o, I can no longer connect to my work HTTPS website.

The site I connect to is my citrix account at work, which needs a certificate. I could connect with the previous version of Firefox (3.6). When I upgraded the browser I got the errors mentioned earlier. I changed the setting for the specific setting from false to true. I still unable to connect and got a different error. Could someone please help! Thanks - Aldo

If you used the option to delete settings, or whatever it is worded when uninstalling, Firefox will remove all your important data information from profiles for all installed versions of Firefox, and you will then need luck and a file recovery utility to try to restore the information.
You mentioned files being moved to Trash, I was hoping you may still have the required original files. I use Windows XP, and I realise Macs use different locations for files, but I think the files have the same names.
    See
    *[[profiles]]
    *http://kb.mozillazine.org/Profile_folder_-_Firefox
    *http://kb.mozillazine.org/Recovering_a_missing_profile
    *[[lost bookmarks]]
Note the last article discusses problems when bookmarks are lost, and some of the possible reasons and solutions. Obviously I do not know what has actually happened in your case, and whether or not you used the delete option I initially mentioned.

  • Ftp prioritised over http etc

We are a small office network of 3 macs. We are having problems lately - when we try and ftp we are unable to use email or the internet at all. The ftp seems to hog the entire bandwidth. We have found that switching from transmit to cyberduck has been a temporarily solution as it allows us to choke the upload bandwidth to 200 Kbps and we can get internet etc. This has not, however, been an issue in the past - we have been able to use transmit & email, web etc simultaneously. I have checked on the router preference pages and there is nothing that says a certain protocol is given priority. We recently had someone attach a Netgear 10/100/1000 m switch to our router (Netgear DGN 2000) so are wondering whether this has anything to do with anything. Macs plugged directly into the DGN 2000 however also have this issue. If anyone can offer advice that would be really helpful! Would this be a router, ftp software or OS issue?
    Thanks very much!

Try connecting through a regular FTP client and see
if that works. If not, it is most likely your network
settings. Are you connecting to the correct
portnumber? Are you blocked by a firewall by any
    chance?Thanks for the reply !
I'am able to connect to the FTP Server using CuteFTP, which enables us to select Proxy Type, to be either HTTP Proxy or FTP Proxy.
When i select HTTP Proxy in CuteFTP it seems to work fine, but when i select FTP Proxy ,i get the same Connection timeout exception, which is what i get when using (Jakarta FTPCommons ) FTP Client, which is inturn uses Socket to open a connection.
I'am unable to know what difference dose Proxy type has when a Connection is made ?

  • Web Authentication on HTTP Instead of HTTPS in WLC 5700 and WS-C3650-48PD (IOS XE)

    Hello,

no security wpa wpa2 ciphers aes
     security web-auth
     security web-auth parameter-map global
     session-timeout 65535
     no shutdown
The configuration of webauth parameter map  is :
    service-template webauth-global-inactive
     inactivity-timer 3600
    service-template DEFAULT_CRITICAL_VOICE_TEMPLATE
     voice vlan
    parameter-map type webauth global
     type webauth
     virtual-ip ipv4 1.1.1.1
     redirect on-success http://www.google.es
I need to  login on web authentication on HTTP instead of HTTPS.
If I  login on HTTP, I will not receive certificate alerts that prevent the users connections.
I saw how to configure it with 7.x relesae but I have IOS XE Version 03.03.05SE and I don´t know how to configure it.
Web Authentication on HTTP Instead of HTTPS
You can login on web authentication on HTTP instead of HTTPS. If you login on HTTP, you do not receive certificate alerts.
For earlier than WLC Release 7.2 code, you must disable HTTPS management of the WLC and leave HTTP management. However, this only allows the web management of the WLC over HTTP.
For WLC Release 7.2 code, use the config network web-auth secureweb disable command to disable. This only disables HTTPS for the web authentication and not the management. Note that this requires a reboot of the controller !
On WLC Release 7.3 and later code, you can enable/disable HTTPS for WebAuth only via GUI and CLI.
Can anyone tell me how to configure web authentication on HTTP instead of HTTPS with IOS XE?
    Thanks in advance.
    Regards.

The documentation doesn't provide very clear direction, does it?
To download the WLC's default webauth page, browse to the controller's Security > Web Login Page. Make sure the web authentication type is Internal (Default). Hit the Preview button. Then use your browser's File > Save As... menu item to save the HTML into a file. Edit this to your liking and bundle it and any graphics images up into a TAR archive, then upload via the controller's COMMAND page.

  • Pages 5.5 - http links in documents not 'active'?

After upgrading to Yosemite (10.10) and Pages 5.5 all http links in my Pages documents return a 'pop up box' that allows me to 'edit' the link or 'go to page' - - I find this aggravating...   How do I make the links 'active' so when I click on the link Pages takes me directly there without the 'pop up'....
    Thanks    JJ

You don't fix it. When you get that edit link pop-up — tap the space bar and off you go to that web site.

  • How to send multiple files with it's original name over HTTPS using one CC?

I am working on a File to HTTPs scenario. It is in production and working fine. Currently we send only one file and I have hard coded the name in the communication channel in the header fields. Now we have to send more files with different names and I want to use only one receiver channel instead of many. We need to send the files with their original names.
I used the ASMA in the sender File Adapter and I see the FileName in the dynamic configuration under http://sap.com/xi/XI/System/File name="FileName".
I know we can use a UDF in message mapping and get the value and put it in HEADERFIELDONE. But we don't want to use mapping as the files are huge and we don't want to insert XML tags in the payload.
So how do I put the Filename from the DynamicConfiguration to the HTTP header field as FileName without using mapping? Are there any settings?
Can I put something in the PROLOG or can I use any other module in the File Sender Adapter or is there any other option?
    Any help is appreciated.
    Thanks
    Sai

    See my blog:
    /people/stefan.grube/blog/2009/06/19/unknown-use-case-of-dynamicconfigurationbean-store-file-name-to-jms-header-without-mapping
You have to put the configuration in sender channel, as HTTP adapter does not allow modules.
For the second module, put values related to HTTP adapter.

  • Specifying filename in http header

I am involved in adding to an application functionality for downloading files. This is done from a form Post request to a servlet which then writes the file to the response object's outout stream. I can force the browser to bring up the 'save as' dialogue box by specifying an arbitrary content type that the browser will not recognise. The default filename in the box comes up as the name of the servlet with an identifier appended to it i.e.FileDownloadb04b65bb. Is it possible to set this value in the http headers thereby specifying the default name of the file that will show up in the dialogue box?

I'm not sure, but perhaps this filename is set as one of the header fields which are returned to the client. You might want to print out all header fields in order to see which on it is. When you know its name, you can easily set it with the response-object's setHeader(..)-method.
