Http 500 status and exception s
Hi,
I noticed when using WebLogic Web Services that when I throw an exception from my EJB I get http 500 (internal server error). Now this is okay in some use cases but in others such as where an exception is thrown for no data found it is not.
Is there a way to control http 500 status in relation to exceptions being thrown?

I can go to every other website except for facebook. I try every other browser in my computer but the only thing I can see is HTTP 500 error and 404 Not Found. In addition, I recommend you check whether you have additional Authentication methods (like ASP.NET Impersonation) enabled.
Disable the authentication method and try again.

PI 7.0 SOAP message reply HTTP 500 and after the fault message
Hello Everybody,
I have the scenario RFC -> XI -> SOAP in synchronous mode.
I use for the mapping XSLT because I have to put some dynamic data comming from the RFC in the header of envelope.
At level of adapter receiver SOAP , I flag the "do not use envelop"
In normal, that works .
When the is an fonctionnal error in SOAP service, it sends me back an error HTTP 500 and afterwards the fault message in a soap envelop format. In that case, how can I pass over this error to treat the envelop because in adapter, it is stopped and it returns a short dump to the RFC.
Is there somebody who can help me with this problem ?

In case of a SOAP error while processing the request, the SOAP HTTP server MUST issue an HTTP 500 "Internal Server Error" response and include a SOAP message in the response containing a SOAP Fault element

Help needed in diagnosing http 500 and intermittend ORA-44003 problems.
We have a client that has some problems with a particular page in our Apex application. The problems only occur in this one application instance for this particular client.
The problem concerns a report with a form.
1) When creating a new record the form page is called with no parameters and a cleared cache. This leads to a http 500 message.
2) When opening the form for an existing record the form page is called with the records ID. This usually works but every now and then we get a "ORA-44003 Invalid SQL name" error message. When trying the same record immediately again it does work. Data is fetched using automatic row fetch.
We are not sure if this problem is data related, listener related, or something else entirely.
We work with Apex 4.02.007 and Apex listener 1.1.2.131.15.23 running in OC4J. Database is 10.2.0.5
The application is installed in an Apex runtime environment.
What can we do to find out more about the http 500 message? What logfile would there be? What parameters to set to get more useful log info?Rene W. wrote:

EAS and Exchange 2010 Http 500 only on SOME users
We have had EAS and iPhones working really well for the past year in a Exchange 2003\2010 mixed mode environment.
NOTE: This is not related to the iOS v4 issue Apple is providing a fix for in v4.1
We have had no problems, but with the last batch of migrations (move mailbox) from e2k3 to e2k10 some users are not able to access mail once moved on their iPhones. I get "Cannot Get Mail - the connection to the server failed."
Yet we have many other users on the same Db from pervious migrations (move mailbox) from previous weeks that work just fine and continue to work fine while the others dont.
I have compared the accounts in ADSIEdit and one thought was the inclusion of the user's account + SELF in the permissions to the mailbox, but removing the user account did not help. I also moved the users to different Db's and the problem remains.
Both users started out in an AD site with non-internet facing CAS servers, but I have lots of other users over there who work fine. I also moved them to another AD site with internet-facing CAS and this didnt change anything.
If I run the testexchangeconnectivity.com I get a fail, yet I have also entered the credentials for the working users and they fail as well with and http 500 error yet they continue to work just fine on the device. Previous to adding the site with non-internet
facing CAS users did not fail this test. Any advice is appreciated. Here is the output:

SQL Server 2008 Reporting Services HTTP 500 error
Hi Everyone,
I recently tried changing authentication mode in RSReportServer.config, I changed from RSWindowsBasic to RSWindowsNegotiate. After restarting the services, I tried to access the Reports page (which worked before my change), but I was unable to load HTTP
500 error.
I then did what anyone else would do, revert back to the origin config and restart the services. I then tried to access but I got exactly the same error, HTTP 500.
I really dont understand why, I have reverted back to exactly the same configuration that work.

HTTP 500 error can occur if there are conflicting authentication settings in the report server Web.config file and the RSReportServer.config file. HTTP 500 is returned if authentication initially succeeds and then the mismatch is detected. In RSReportServer.config
file, make sure the AuthenticationTypes setting as follows:

In the report server Web.config file, please also check the authentication type:

Can not deploy Federation Manager 7.0 (http 500 error)
Hi,
I am trying to install Sun Java System Federation Manager 7.0 on SunOS 5.8 sparc machine, and never get any further after build the federation.war file
Basically, I use standard script to build the war file
./fmsetup install -s fmsilence-template
and install the Sun web server 6.1 with standard installation.
If I then deploy the federation.war file , I will get following error message.

I am currently facing an issue when I try and use LDAP authentication in my Apex application as I am getting a HTTP 500 Internal Server Error message. For my authentication scheme I have used the pre-configured option of how to connect to an LDAP server and in my development environment this seems to be working fine but now I have deployed my application to our staging environment and I am getting the error. If I switch to the Application Express Authentication scheme then I don't get the error.

So it seems that every time I try and use LDAP I hit this error. Also after awhile I have to re-start the Apex Listener for that domain. I have came across this thread: LDAP Authentication Question but I am not sure if the user got the problem solved or not.
Our infrastructure is as follows:
Database: Oracle Database 10g Enterprise Edition Release 10.2.0.4.0 - 64bit
Apex Listener: 2.0.3.221.10.13
GlassFish Server Open Source Edition 3.1.2.2 (build 5)
If anybody has any idea what is causing this that would be great.

I cant see anything glaring that is causing this. I have also increased the Minimum Connections to 30 and Maximum Connections to 100 with the administration part of Configuring ORDS via SQL Developer and it still has no desired effect.
The application works fine in our Development and Testing Environment but since I have ported it over to our production instance I am unable to log into it using my Active Directory credentials.

...check for the content type of the message that is sent ot the WS.....with the above mentioned content-type going to the WS currently...WS is not able to parse the req and hence the error....in other words wrong format being being passed.

Adcfgclone scripts on both DB and App Tiers, as well as Adautocfg scripts, complete successfully but I am faced with a "HTTP 500 Internal Server Error" and "The website cannot display the page" through IE when starting R12 Apps post clone. So far I have run a script on the cloned environment to synchronize the Workflow tables with APPS user, and re-ran autoconfig on both DB and App Tiers, but I still see the 500 error.
Any other pointers?
