HTTP destination type G with scpecial characters in the path prefix

Hi guys,
I am having an issue with a RFC destination type G in a ECC 5, the HTTP service that I am trying to use is asking me for an authentication that needs to be embeded on the Path prefix, the user has an "@" and the pwd also contain a special character "!". So the complete uri that I want to access is in the form of https://server:443/path?user=MyUser@MyDomain.com&password=MyPwd! when I tried in my web browser I got authenticated but when I put the information in the RFC destination in the form described below I am not able to authenticate and I am getting an error of Unauthorized.
Target Host: server
Service: 443
Path prfix: /path?user=MyUser@MyDomain.com&password=MyPwd!
Logon procedure: No logon
SSL: Active
I also have tried with the basic authentication but I am still not able to authenticate.
I think the issue is the "@" in the user: MyUser@MyDomain.com , I also have tried replacing the "@" for "%40" and still not working.
Do you know how I can pass this special character?
Do you think it can be something else that it doesn't let me authenticate to the server?
My system is a non unicode ECC 5, SAP_Basis 640
Thanks
Omar Hernandez

Hi Mark,
Thanks for your response, the HTTP service that I am trying to access is not accepting a basic authentication but it is getting the authentication info from the parameters in the URL. Anyway I also have tried to use basic authentication but it is not working.
Regarding SMICM, I havent seem anything useful, maybe the just the "BINDUMP of content denied" string but I am not sure what does this mean.

There are some language add ons that support emails from other languages that you can check out: [https://addons.mozilla.org/en-us/thunderbird/extensions/language-support/?sort=popular]
The recipient, if they also use thunderbird may need to have a language pack to read the email: [https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/thunderbird/language-tools/]
You may also need to have them check their interpreter to make sure the email is being received in the same format it is being sent.

hi i can't seem to copy and paste pdf files from preview to a microsoft word document. it always comes up with nonsense characters in the word document. how do i fix this? thanks in advance

    Hi,
The quickest way to do this (tested with OS 10.8.2, MS Word 2011) is in one line:
tell application "Microsoft Word" to close every document whose name begins with "book"
The reason why your script doesn't work is that you aren't specifying to Word which document you want it to close.
So, changing one line ought to do it:
close document incrementvalue -- instead of "close document"
But... when you close a document, you change the document count. Document 2 becomes document 1, document 3 becomes document 2 etc. So eventually you'd get a message saying "The object you are trying to access doesn't exist".
Because of this, if you want to do it in a repeat loop, you have to work backwards:
    tell application "Microsoft Word"
      set doc_count to count documents
      repeat with x from doc_count to 1 by -1
if name of document x begins with "book" then close document x
      end repeat
    end tell
    Hope this helps.

Please can someone tell me how to specify a variable in the  path prefix of an External HTTP (RFC) connection in transaction SM59?

  • How to build the "Path Prefix" HTTP Adapter at run time

    Hi All,
I have a scenario wherein I have to call the HTTP Url of a thiird party system from R/3 via PI.
The third party url looks liike this:
    http://gis/ias/cgi-bin/siscgi.exe?request=batch&command=<requests><request><name>sis_neighbouring_knos_for_sambandh_service</name><buffer>20</buffer><same_premise_kno>123</same_premise_kno><l
    eft_kno>331</left_kno><gis_id>4019589</gis_id><priority>same_premise_kno,left_kno,right_kno,gis_id</priority></request></requests>&user_name=sambandh.sias&pa
    ssword=sambandhsias
I have successfully created a HTTP Recevier comm channel and provided the following in the "Path Prefix"
    /ias/cgi-bin/siscgi.exe?request=batch&command=<requests><request><name>sis_neighbouring_knos_for_sambandh_service</name><buffer>20</buffer><same_premise_kno>123</same_premise_kno><l
    eft_kno>331</left_kno><gis_id>4019589</gis_id><priority>same_premise_kno,left_kno,right_kno,gis_id</priority></request></requests>&user_name=sambandh.sias&pa
    ssword=sambandhsias
But If I need to pass the values inside the xml tags specified above e.g. "name" at run time, How do I do that?
I have explored the "Apply URL Parameters" option in the HTTP Comm channel but it has fixed names for the HTTP URL parameter.
Please let me know how is this possible hopefully without a UDF
    thanks,

  • Mac: Problems with certain characters in the editor

I have now downloaded the production version on my Mac and it runs just fine. The first thing I see is that the painting problems with the close icons etc. have been fixed. Thank you for that. But I still have trouble typing certain characters in the editor. I haven't reported that yet, but I have seen others report similar problems caused by missing support for international keyboards. The characters that I cannot type are |\[{]} which is pretty annoying when you're writing Java code. :-) It works fine in normal Java text fields. On my Norwegian keyboard I normally input all these characters by typing 7 and 8 combined with option or option + shift.

Check if database characterset supports these special characters

  • Sorting of contacts with foreign characters in the name

    Hello,
I have a large address book, some with Japanese characters in their name.
I'm on English Language setting for the OS on my iphone and ipad.
All the contacts with Japanese characters in their name seem to get pushed to the # section of the alphabet rather than at the equivalent roman alphabet letter.
Also note that adding the Japanese name in the secondary fields of "phonetic first" and "phonetic second" of an existing Roman English based contact sends this to the # section.
This is poor sorting of contacts.
    Very poor....

After posting this I found a solution.  I hadn't tried it this way round.
    https://discussions.apple.com/message/7589528#7589528
Go into one of your Japanese contacts and click edit.
Go right to the bottom of the edit page and add field, add phonetic first name, then repeat the step to add phonetic last name.
Now edit the name of your contact, keep their name in Japanese and enter the phonetic spelling in English.
    Smashin....  :-)

  • XMLConnector with Czech characters in the URL

I'm writing a game that use the XMLConnector object to bring local xml data into a DataSet object.  My URL is, for example: data/quiz.xml.  I have everything working well.  But I'm localizing my game for Czech and Russian and when the game is installed to a path with Czech specific (high ascii) characters, the data import fails.  This is strange because the relative path (data/quiz.xml) doesn't change.  For example, my Czech install path contains the partial path: Vyšetřit Bobíčka.  If I just use normal English characters for this, I don't have a problem.  The swf is an embedded sprite in a Director game, but I don't think this is relevant.
I looked into using fl.mapPlayerURL to format the path as UTF-8 but it doesn't look like this is the solution.  Another thing I thought of would be embed the xml data inside Flash and copy it to a temp folder when needed.  I'm using AS2.
    Any solutions or suggestions?
    Thanks in advance,
    Brian

I've already solved this with Valentin's help.  I just convert the full XML
file path to a DOS 8.3 path with baShortFileName and pass that to the Flash
sprite.  It could be that CS4 or another work around will fix it also.
Barring a complete rewrite, the XML files need to be external.  That's the
way the Flash object works as far as I know.
    Thanks,
    Brian

  • Mail acting ery oddly with repeating characters in the to field

When composing a message I enter the first few characters of the person I would like to email and mail.app completes the rest of the entry for me - great
If I then want to put in another name (as I often want to!) then the characters seem to repeat themselves. For example if I want to get my own email [email protected] and I type "j" then "o" and then "n" then this is what I get
    "jjojon"
as if this were not bad enough when I press the delete 3 times then this is what the display shows
    "jjojonjonjonjon"
so I have to do a ctrl X to cut everything out of the to field and start again.
This is the same for the TO, CC and BCC fields
this problem also exists in the address book when entering in a n email address and also iCal when inviting / notifying guests for a meeting
    Any ideas ?
    Very odd
    Cheers for the help
    Jonathan

any ideas anyone 10.5.3 update did not fix this - cheers

    Hi,
We have developed the E-filing interface. For PI communication with Government gateway, we have created an RFC destinatio of type G.
This destination was working till yesterday and today it is failing with ICM_HTTP_INTERNAL_ERROR. This was  because the certificate https://secure.dev.gateway.gov.uk/submission which we have imported in strust transaction has expired yesterday.
