I have a site hosted under an EV cert. Once logged in, there is an embedded video that is hosted on our CDN. The Video has a valid cert, but it's not an EV cert.
When the user is on a page that contains the embedded video, they lose the green bar at the top and if they inspect the cert, they see this message: "The website does not supply identity information"
Do I have to get an EV cert for the embedded video to fix this? Is there any way to tell Firefox to trust this embedded content?

I had searched quite a lot on this issue and had idea that it might be due to firewall settings..
but sadly, I don't know the solution. Well, you have seen the entire code that I wrote and exception too, Could you suggest me a way out? or any specific firewall setting or a workaround?
Please let me know if you need any other info from my side regarding the code.

HTTP 500 Internal Server Error with Large Attachment in SOAP Scenario

Hi,
we have implemented SOAP - XI - SOAP Scenario in our landscape (Sap Neatweaver Process Integration 7.1) .
One of the functionality of this scenario is the Upload of Documents to External Web Service through standard SOAP Attachment.
If we try to upload a small file (smaller than 20MB), task works fine and the document is correctly uploaded.
If we try to upload a larger file, we encountered in this generic error:
com.sap.engine.interfaces.messaging.api.exception.MessagingException: com.sap.engine.interfaces.messaging.api.exception.MessagingException: XIAdapterFramework:GENERAL:com.sap.engine.interfaces.messaging.api.exception.MessagingException: SOAP: response message contains an error XIAdapter/HTTP/ADAPTER.HTTP_EXCEPTION - HTTP 500 Internal Server Error
at com.sap.aii.adapter.soap.ejb.XISOAPAdapterBean.process(XISOAPAdapterBean.java:1161)
We tried to increase timeout parameters (in communication channel and in ICM Value) but the response is the same.
We verify also if icm/HTTP/max_request_size_KB parameter was set to a value smaller than our file size limit (20MB) but is set to default value (100MB).
The problem isn't on External Web Service Layer because if we try to upload the same documents directly to that web service upload works fine, and in External Web Service's Log there aren''t any indications of this error.
So I ask you: are there any System Parameters to verify to solve this issue?
For additional, in ICM Monitor LOG we can read this WARNING when we call our service:
WARNING => IcmReadFromConn(id=53/454390): temporarily out of MPI buffers -> roll out [icxxthrio_mt 2646]
This warning may be related to the problem? If yes, how can we solve it?

please be reminded that SOAP is not for the heavy messages. Then you need to increase your timeout parameters from BASIS.

HTTP 500 - internal server error ,Cannot access content in the CMC

Hi Friends,
I am facing an strange behaviour in CMC application :
when accessing the CMC content like Servers,servergroups,Authentication,users&groups etc getting error HTTP 500 - internal server error.
So please help on this why it is occuring and where i need to debug from to resolve this error.

Thanks for the inputs , but I forgot one thing to mention in the previuos tag, that the error iam getting is intermittent and once I restart the webapp server (tomcat) then Iam not facing the issue.
Workarround :
1.Narrowing down to which tomact service is this error
2.Stop tomcat
3.restart tomcat
issue iam facing intermittently ,So please suggest how to debug the issue?

Http server start-up error with portal

When attempting to start the http server I receive the following error:
[Tue Feb 12 16:14:20 2002] [crit] (10038)(FormatMessage failed with code 317): Parent: WSADuplicateSocket failed for socket 248.
[Tue Feb 12 16:14:20 2002] [error] (2)No such file or directory: master_main: create child process failed. Exiting.
Is there a fix for this? I saw a previous discussion forum post recommending a patch install, but I don't have a MetaLink account and thus can't download the patches. Anyone have a solution to this error other than the patch?

I have some further suggestions which you might consider. If you have professional help, then best let it handle the overall situation, especially if it is going to take you into the Registry where you might not feel comfortable.
My suggestion would be to uninstall Premiere Elements 7, do a run through with ccleaner (regular clearner and registry cleaner parts) and then reinstall Premiere Elements 7. Many have used ccleaner with pros and no cons. In the registry cleaning part, there is a step for you to backup the registry in a file saved to Documents or wherever you want on the computer hard drive.
But, go with what you feel comfortable doing. If you have Premiere Elements 7 projects in the works and can get into Premiere Elements, you may want to Project Archive them for safe keeping.during this time whether you run the ccleaner or not.

Push cert error with creating App

The push cert should be expired on Jun 23, 2014
But the App Builder give be this error, do anyone knows what's happening?
I've tried to remove the cert in keychain and download them from Apple again. But got the same error message(the time did not change).

This is a known issue with App Builder in release 26 where newly-created certificates aren't considered valid until several hours after the actual creation time. If you wait until the time listed in the dialog they will work. Some customers have had success setting their system clock forward to after that time and then building.
We have a fix for this in release 27, due mid-July.

Attempting to create an interactive map with flash - getting errors with my actionscript

I'm currently having an issue creating a set of buttons that are supposed to turn individual layers on and off. The layers I have are: fishing spots, facilities, trails, map elements, an aerial photo, and parking lots. It is giving error #s 1119 and 1120. Could anyone explain possible reasons I'm getting these errors.
It might be worth mentioning that I used a tutorial made with Flash CS4, but I'm writing the code in CS5. Here is the exact code I'm using:

Can someone help with Incompatible versions error with taglib and project?

I am trying to import a tag library into my web project but I keep getting the error "Incompatible versions: Tag library is version 1.2, project version is version 1.1".
I am using IBM Rational Application Developer as my IDE, Tomcat 5.0 as my target server and I'm compiling my code with SUNs 1.4.2 JRE.
I created the tag library as a java project and my web site as a dynamic web project in IBM RAD.
If anyone can tell me why I'm getting this error message and, if possible, how to fix it I would be very grateful.

I am using IBM Rational Application Developer as myIDE, Irrelevant, I believe.

I'm compiling my code with SUNs 1.4.2 JRE.That's fine.

Working with Excel references error with Office 365 ProPlus on Shared Drive

I came across an issue with the Excel version of Office 365 ProPlus, as below described.
A.xls(x) contains formula that links to B.xls Sheet1. When working on A.xls. I decide to navigate through windows explorer and open B.xls(x). Once I do all references to Sheet1 turns into #REF of A.xls(x). And naturally all values that were previously correct
now returns #REF. Even without making any changes to B.xls(x), just opening the file cause this problem. Both these files are on the mapped network location within the same LAN. User is on Win7 & Office 365 ProPlus. The server is running on Windows 2008
R2 with no office installed. This occurred to users who are member of the AD and in Workgroup. We have tried re-installing, repairing, etc. but the problem remains the same. But if the files were on the local HDD, we didn't face the same issue.

According to your description, this issue may be caused by the hyperlink/reference changed from relative to absolute links. For example, if you use the reference in formula, we only need to enter like this:[filename.xlsx]Sheet1'!$C$107:$C$112, when we re-open
the file, Excel will autocomplete the path, like: [C:\Mydir\filename.xlsx]Sheet1'!$C$107:$C$112.
To workaround the issue, we may update the link manually, please see the image below:
Go to Data tab>Edit link>Update value or change data source.
More references for the common scenarios of this issue:
You map a drive under the root of a share. For example, you map drive Z to \\<var>Server</var>\<var>Share</var>\Folder1.
You create links to a workbook that is stored at the mapped location after you open the file through that mapped drive.
You open the file by a UNC path.
As a consequence the link will be broken.

Playback and Render Errors - communication error with child process failed

Tried a reinstall, does not fix the issue, will get the gray screen with text: communication error with child process failed
This happens during playback (About 30% of the frames or so) as well as when rendering an output.
On PC.

So I updated my nvidea drivers to the latest and greatest (GeForce 327.23). I also reinstalled SpeedGrade CC (which is quite the pain, btw! why can't we keep a local .exe file? Have to download every time you want to resintall ... even if only ten minutes apart!)
Still the issue seems to persist.
The footage is from the BlackMagic Pocket Cinema Camera. It worked fine about a month ago when I was working on some footage from the same line of cameras.

ACS 5.1 - EAP-PEAP - Imported public cert - Clients still get cert error

We have ACS 5.1 up and running. Our company has a SuperCert purchsed with Thwarte so we requested a Certificate. Once we figured out the formatting we were able to successuflly get the certificate to bind to the CSR. For some reason our windows 7 users will be prompted the first time they connect with an option to terminate or continue. If they continue they are able to connect to the WLAN just fine. Our MAC users are always prompted with the cert error, even if they install the ceritificate. Unlike ACS 4.x and earlier I do not see where I can import the Root CA so we are thinking about purchasing another certificate from another public CA but who? Any thoughts are idea's would be greatly appreciated.

Adverstisement apart, Verisign is widely used and trusted.
However, even using your current CA, you should be able to install the Root CA and the ACS cert on the client machines under the trusted CAs and then the warning should not popup anymore.

Error With SCORM Content W Latest Version of Sun Java (1.6.0_10)

We're getting an error with users running the more recent version of Sun Java 1.6.0_10, but not with previous versions. This happens for all our SCORM content.
The Java logs are showing a lot of data, but the main symptoms seem to be:
network: CrossDomainXML: connection to host <our LMS server address> denied
LMS Error: 304 - Security exception
and
Error stack trace:
oracle.apps.ota.lms.LMSException: java.security.AccessControlException: access denied (java.net.SocketPermission <our LMS server address> connect,resolve)
and
Returned: "false"
*** LMSGetLastError() [Thu Oct 09 10:56:35 EDT 2008]
Returned: "304"
*** LMSGetErrorString("304") [Thu Oct 09 10:56:35 EDT 2008]
Returned: "Security exception"
Our crossdomain.xml fille is configured correctly, and also previous versions of JRE are not having the problem (the Java logs look clean).

Got a similar issue with the tracking / bookmarking of sessions - when on sun Java update 7 all is well however when update 10 or 11 is installed then SCROM session start on page 1 not the page you were on, also as expected they do not get marked as complete.
Two things happen
1) A small window is left for - [http://riti04.cornwall.nhs.uk:7780/ilearn/en/learner/jsp/relogin.jsp] - URL
2) We get an Error on page - [http://riti04.cornwall.nhs.uk:7780/ilearn/en/learner/jsp/lms.jsp] - URL
Looked for the Plugin section as per a pervious within the Java Control panel - but I'm not seeing it.
We use iLearn 5.0 and I am begining to think we need a patch but unsure which.

Can anyone explain what those yellow banners on the top of the screen that say "Internet Explorer blocks websites displaying content with security certificate errors, etc." mean and why they keep you our of certain websites and how you can get rid of them? (Sorry for the run-on sentence/question.)

It means there is a problem with the sites security certificate.
There should be a "Continue to this website (not recommended)" message. I would not recommend doing that unless it is a site you know and trust.
In IE10 you can not disable that feature.

Quite frequently I'm keep getting the error like "Script is not responding....I dont have any Add-ons with my FireFox. After upgrade to the latest version 26.0 I'm keep getting Script error "chrome://global/content/binding/popup.xml:580" Stop or Continue Script.
Currently I don't have any Add-Ons installed in my FireFox, so I can suspect any Add-ons.
I'm facing this issue only after the upgrade to 26.0 recently.
