HttpServlet Client

Hi,ALL
This is a strange Question, please help me to figure it out.
I have a HttpServlet Aplication,
It will connect with Domino server to search database as CLIENT.
So, When It connect with Domino server.
I use Notes Cobra connection:
NotesFactory.createSession(....);
unluckly, it thorws me exception:
can't instantiate default ORB implementation lotus.priv.CORBA.iiop.ORB
If I create a pure application runing on windows platform.and use the same function:
NotesFactory.createSession(....);
it works fine.
why this problem happend if it is called under HttpServlet application?
Thanks

What I want to know:
if at the same time: cliend side both thread call
server.
or thread1 starts to call server, before thread1
ends call thread2 starts to call server again.
what will happen?
can I get right result?Each thread on the client side will have its own socket and each request on the server side will be relayed to its own socket, so there won't be no mix up in the transfer, if that is what you mean. The rest depends on how the server handles the requests.
>
and on server side:
what should I pay attention?You should pay attention to the fact that, on the server side, each request ought to be processed in a separate Thread, or else your server will never be able to process more than one request at a time, in which case your second request (on the client side) will block until the first one has been process, and so forth for each additional request.

  • HttpServlet server and client concept

    Hi, All
    I am confused about HttpServelet now.Please give me a clear concept.
    I have a client(httpconnection) and servlet.
    At client side:
    There are two thread to call the same servlet to get some data from servlet.
    It likes:
    public Thread1extends Thread
    public Thread1()
    public void run()
    Object obj = conn.get("http://localhost:8080/servlet/service?op=1");
    public Thread2extends Thread
    public Thread2()
    public void run()
    Object obj = conn.get("http://localhost:8080/servlet/service?op=2");
    op means operator code:
    on server side:
    depend on operator code:
    CustomerObject obj; // is global member with class
    processRequest(Http...,Http...)
    int op = getparameter(req);
    if(op==1){
    doSomething1();
    if(op==2){
    doSomething2();
    doSomething1(){
    ....//set some paramter
    obj.do();
    doSomething2(){
    ....////set some paramter
    obj.do();

    and on server side:

    And suggestion would be great appreciated.

  • Null Values From MS Web Services Toolkit Client

    Hi,
    I've been bashing my head against a wall on this one for too long now.
    I've got a JAX-WS web service deployed to Glassfish v2 b33 which works fine when called by a Java client. It also works fine when methods with no parameters are called from the MS client, i.e. simple and complex types are returned as they should be. However the problem I am having is that when the web service methods that take parameters are called from the MS client, the values received by the service are always null. I've montitored the service and values are being sent in the soap request, but a simple System.out.println statement in the first line of the method indicates a null value. I've captured a request from the Java client and the MS client to show the difference:
    A java request:
    <soapenv:Envelope
         xmlns:soapenv="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/"
         xmlns:xsd="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema"
         xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance">
        <soapenv:Header/>
        <soapenv:Body>
         <ns0:getConfig xmlns:ns0="http://ws.firestorm.alternativenetworks.com/">
                 <arg0>Inbound</arg0>
         </ns0:getConfig>
        </soapenv:Body>
    </soapenv:Envelope>and a request from the web services toolkit:
    <SOAP-ENV:Envelope
         xmlns:SOAP-ENV="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/"
         xmlns:SOAPSDK1="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema"
         xmlns:SOAPSDK2="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance"
         xmlns:SOAPSDK3="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/encoding/">
         <SOAP-ENV:Header/>
         <SOAP-ENV:Body>
               <SOAPSDK4:getConfig xmlns:SOAPSDK4="http://ws.firestorm.alternativenetworks.com/">
              <SOAPSDK4:arg0>Inbound</SOAPSDK4:arg0>
         </SOAPSDK4:getConfig>
         </SOAP-ENV:Body>
    </SOAP-ENV:Envelope>I've tried everything I can think of, including changing the style from RPC/LITERAL to DOCUMENT/LITERAL, but the Java web service just seem to like the way the SOAP message is wrapped up.
    Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.
    Cheers
    Tony

    Thanks Milan, your suggestion put me on the right track, however I've hit another snag.
    I decided the best way to solve the problem was to use the Glassfish Transformation Rules feature to take the SOAP request and transform it to a valid format before reaching the code. The XSLT file I created looks like this (I'm no XSLT guru so this will definitely need some tidying up, but for now it works): <?xml version="1.0" encoding="ISO-8859-1"?>
    <xsl:stylesheet  version="1.0"
         xmlns:xsl="http://www.w3.org/1999/XSL/Transform"
         xmlns:SOAP-ENV="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/"
         xmlns:SOAPSDK1="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema"
         xmlns:SOAPSDK2="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance"
         xmlns:SOAPSDK3="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/encoding/">
         <xsl:output method="xml" indent="yes"/>
         <xsl:template match="*">
              <xsl:copy><xsl:copy-of select="@*"/><xsl:apply-templates/></xsl:copy>
         </xsl:template>
         <xsl:template match="/SOAP-ENV:Envelope/SOAP-ENV:Body/*">
              <xsl:copy>
                   <xsl:copy-of select="@*"/>
                   <xsl:for-each select="*">
                        <xsl:text disable-output-escaping="yes"><arg</xsl:text>
                        <xsl:value-of select="position() - 1"/>
                        <xsl:text disable-output-escaping="yes">></xsl:text>
                        <xsl:value-of select="."/>
                        <xsl:text disable-output-escaping="yes"></arg</xsl:text>
                        <xsl:value-of select="position() - 1"/>
                        <xsl:text disable-output-escaping="yes">></xsl:text>
                   </xsl:for-each>
              </xsl:copy>

  • How to get client Ip address from web service

    Hello folks,
    I am quite new to web service and developing a web service using netbeans6.0 IDE, where i have to know which client called/used the service, After googling i got code snippet like below
    inject a WebServiceContext instance into your WebService class, and use it in each WebMethod to get the current request's MessageContext Map. Get the SERVLET_REQUEST item from that, cast as an HttpServletRequest. From that HttpServletRequest, you can invoke getRemoteAddr() to get the client's IP.
    @WebService
    public class MyService{
    @Resource
    WebServiceContext wsCtxt;
    @WebMethod
    public void myWebMethod(){
    MessageContext msgCtxt = wsCtxt.getMessageContext();
    HttpServletRequest req = (HttpServletRequest)msgCtxt.get(MessageContext.SERVLET_REQUEST);
    String clientIP = req.getRemoteAddr();
    }But it throws error in my PC like
    Service invocation threw an exception with message : null; Refer to the server log for more details
    Exceptions details : java.lang.reflect.InvocationTargetExceptionIs there any way that says client pc ip address using netbeans6.0 Or what went wrong in my code?
    Largely Thanks in advance.
    SRI.

  • Getting error while invoking client interface method as a web service

    Hi,
    I have written one custom method inAppModuleImpl and include that custom method into the AppModule's Client Interface(AppModule-->Java-->ClientInterface).
    It autogenerates two java classes: ClientInterfaceImpl class and interface class. I right clicked on ClientInterfaceImpl class and select the option create webservice proxy. Then I deployed my application into the WL Server. There I am able to see the webservice. But when I test the webservice and invoke the method. It is throwing the below exception:
    HTTP/1.1 500 Internal Server Error

    I'm using version 14.1.2002. I can create a webi report, but If I use a filter in this webi, a message WIS 30270 appears.

    The class file its complaining about AddUserxRolePars exists in FoxTWS.jar (generated from wsimport) in ThirdParty, ext and JavaTasks directory on the server and still it complains for the same.
    I tried running the same class from the command prompt on the same server and it's working fine. Thinking this could be classpath issue, I tried updating the classpath (System.setProperty("java.class.path","<jar file path>+<existing classpath>")) from with in the adapter class file and it still does not help.
    Any thoughts on how to resolve this ??
    Thanks in Advance.

    You can use below policy for 2-way SSL
    Wssp1.2-Https-ClientCertReq.xml
    Two way SSL. The recipient checks for the initiator's public certificate. Note that the client certificate can be used for authentication.
    http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E14571_01/web.1111/e13713/message.htm#i243732
    Please follow below link to invoke standalone client using SSLSocketFactory for 2-way SSL

    There should be some error in looking up the Jndi..
    In weblogic server I have been using the following code:
         try
              Context ctx = getContext.getInitialContext();
              HelloHome home = (HelloHome)ctx.lookup("MyHello");
              Hello hello = home.create();
              System.out.println(hello.display());
         catch(Exception e)
              System.out.println("Error :");
              e.printStackTrace();
         static String user = null;
         static String password = null;
         static String url = "t3://localhost:7001";
         * Gets an initial context.
         * @return Context
         * @exception java.lang.Exception if there is
         * an error in getting a Context
         static public Context getInitialContext() throws Exception
              Properties p = new Properties();
              p.put(Context.INITIAL_CONTEXT_FACTORY,"weblogic.jndi.WLInitialContextFactory");
              p.put(Context.PROVIDER_URL, url);
              if (user != null)
         System.out.println ("user: " + user);
         p.put(Context.SECURITY_PRINCIPAL, user);
                   if (password == null)
                        password = "";
         p.put(Context.SECURITY_CREDENTIALS, password);
    return new InitialContext(p);
    this works fine in weblogic..

    StateManagerImpl.saveSerializedView tries to let UIViewRoot be a session
    attribute and the error message says it should be serializable; certainly it' not.
    I think HttpSession.setAttribute does not claim the object should be serializable.
    I don't know why apache's StandardSession.setAttribute claims so.

  • Invoking a bpel process using webservice client

    I am not able to run the sample webservice client from
    102.InvokingProcesses/ws.
    When I try my own program for 132.UserTasks(very similar to the example program),
    The correct input looks like
    <inputVariable>
    - <part xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" name="payload">
    - <ns1:stockReviewSheet xmlns:ns1="http://samples.otn.com">

    <ns1:quantity>122</ns1:quantity>
    </ns1:stockReviewSheet>
    </part>
    </inputVariable>
    While from the invoking process whatever I give comes as
    <ns0:stockReviewSheet>
    <action>buy</action>

    <quantity>100</quantity>
    <symbol>ORCL</symbol>

    Sancho,
    Thanks for the prompt reply. We trying to automate the following process:-
    1. The user select multiple documents from a folder in a library that contains all released documents.
    2. He then locks the documents.
    3. Selects the locked documents and copies it to a folder in the personal library.
    We are trying to lock and copy the documents as a 1 step process, because its difficult for the users to select all of the documents locked earlier and then copy it the personal library.
    We are trying to take the folder name as the user parameter, when the files are locked, so that the process and create the lock the files, create the folder and copy the files in this folder.
    Thanks again for your time and help.

    Im new to MI .Can anybody suggest where am i wrong?
    Juhi..

    Dear Juhi,
    The "app name" thing is what I tried telling you yesterday. I advice you to reset the client data from settings link in client, sync a couple of times, check the status of the undeployed app in the Web Console / NWA, and if problem persists, remove assignment of the new app, sync couple of times, and then add app again.
    By the way, have you got the name thing right? See the Application name, not the project name should be the same with the name of the war/sda file and the app/component name in the j2ee engine. I had wanted you to see the following text in your NWDS help - > SAP Net. Dev. Studio Doc.->MI Dev./MDK ->Go and create ->First Example JSP:
    The class SystemInfo extends AbstractMEHttpServlet which extends javax.servlet.http.HttpServlet itself. The method doHandleEvent does:
    Implemented Classes in the Servlet for the Example
    We create a class SystemInfo that extends the class AbstractMEHttpServlet and implements Constants. Constants is an interface in which we define all relevant variables for the application. All variables used in Constants are written in uppercase characters. So anytime you see an uppercase variable used in class SystemInfo you will find the definition in interface Constants.
    The class SystemInfo extends AbstractMEHttpServlet which extends javax.servlet.http.HttpServlet itself. The method doHandleEvent does:
    public String getApplicationName()
    This method has to be overwritten. It returns the name of the MI client application. The name specified here has to be the same used for the WAR file name and the name of the application specified in the MI Webconsole.

    What is the setting the i need to do in SM59.
    Please help me getting through this.
    Your help is highly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
    Neha

    HI Neha,
    1. Enable the https service in the ICM: you can follow the way to do it like is pointed out in the page 4 of this document (PI 7.1 and PI 7.0 has the same smicm abap transaction) http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/go/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/60ff2883-70c5-2c10-f090-a744def2ba66?overridelayout=t…
    2. Generate the certificate. Use the STRUST transaction. Chech this document SSL Configuration in SAP ABAP AS and JAVA AS – Step-by-step procedure
    Hope this helps.
    Regards.

  • Applet-Servlet - Creating a new file on client's mashine

    Hi all!
    I need to write a program, that will get a data from client through Applet text fields and save it to a new(or rewrite existing) file on client mashine. To save it, I want to use Servlet, because Applet can't do this because of security restrictions. So I think of sending data from Applet to Servlet, which will save it in a new file (will download this file back to the client's mashine).
    I found the following code in forums to download a file from server to client:
    import java.io.*;
    import javax.servlet.*;
    import javax.servlet.http.*;
    public class OutputFileOnBrowser extends HttpServlet {
    public void service(HttpServletRequest req,HttpServletResponse res)
    throws ServletException, IOException
    res.setContentType("application/x-filler");
    res.setHeader("Content-Disposition", "attachment; filename=out.fif;");
    ServletOutputStream stream = res.getOutputStream();
    BufferedInputStream fif = new BufferedInputStream(new FileInputStream("in.fif"));
    int data;
    while((data = fif.read()) != -1)
    stream.write(data);
    fif.close();
    stream.close();
    but I don't understand, does it automatically downloads the file out.fif to client's disc and in what path? I tried it, and it did nothing. Anyway, this code doesn't fit exactly my purpose, because I have first to create the file.
    Could anybody help me please?
    Thank you in advanse!
    P.S. I've already wrote the Applet code, what I need now is o n l y the help with a Servlet part!
    Best regards.

    Thanks, but I want not client but servlet save the file automatically in a given path on client's mashine. Is there any way to do that?
    Thanks.
