HttpURLConnection with empty body

Hi, i'm trying to fetch data from the following URL using HttpURLConnection. Considering that the body will only be filled when the aspx loads, how can i read the body after it gets loaded?

You can of course execute as many page requests as you want. Just like a browser. The code you posted in the OP though shows JavaScript being used. Do you understand that you would then need a JavaScript engine? Because you'd need to parse the JavaScript code and take the correct next steps based on that.

Hi, I'm now using WLS 7.0 SP5. In my JSPs, I have the following tag with empty body:
          <jsp:setProperty name="xxxForm" property="style123" value="abc"/>
          It doesn't work. The script works if I change that into:
          <jsp:setProperty name="xxxForm" property="style123" value="abc"></jsp:setProperty>
          However I have found that this problem should be fixed in WLS 7.0 SP1 already. I am using RangeTimeStep for displaying data in time range. I dont know understand whats wrong with this code as it displays graph with some other criteria that I donot specify in RangeTimeStep. The member of Day is like 02/16/2003 and member value is DAY_460. Although I passed both the values but still getting the same graph.

JavaMail: mails with empty body

Hi all,
we want to send mails via JavaMail in our webapp. This works most of the time but sometimes it does not. After some time all emails are received without body.
There are no Exceptions in the log files. We got JavaMail to "debug" to stdout, no error messages there.
Redeploying the webapp does not work. Restart of weblogic helps.
We are using weblogic 8.1.2 on SuSE 8.1 with jdk 1.4.2_05.
Any ideas?

Mail with empty body

I have been accessing my email accounting using mail. It was working fine until about a week ago when the bodies of the emails were not showing up. I can access the whole email fine using webmail. I also have another account also using mail which hasnt had any problems. I tried accessing this account using another computer with os 10.4 and mail 2.0 and had no problem. I also tried recreating the email account but that didnt fix the problem. Any ideas as to what could be affecting just one account on my computer?

Custom Tag with open body loop

I'm fairly new to custom tags. I want to do something like the following

At the moment I have the following which works fine
menu.tag

The bean returns a list and the tag file produces the urls which is great. However what I would like to do is using the example above not have the content of the loop fixed. For exmaple I could do

</mytag:allItems>
or
<mytags:menu>
<li>${item.name}</li>
</mytags:menu>
I would also like to leave it so that closing the tag would still produce the list of urls as a default.

Email with html body and a pdf attachment

Hi,
i try to send a email with html body and one attach in pdf
in release 4.6c using the SO_DOCUMENT_SEND_API1.
I've put the html in the txt table and the pdf in bin table but i obtain the following situation:
1) with only the html in the body i see a right email in html
2) with the html body AND the pdf attach i obtain a empty mail with two attach.
what can i do ? I's possible to do this.

Have you tried to set "Output Format" for "RAW Text" to HTM in SCOT.
If HTM is missing in your dropdown-list, you could check out table SXCONVERT2. Copy the line with category T/format TXT, and change the format from TXT to HTM. The existing function
SX_OBJECT_CONVERT__T.TXT does not need to be changed. Now you should be able to choose HTM in SCOT. You will probably need som HTML-tags in your text to make it look good.

Urgent ! XML Output with header, body, trailer

Gurus,
I am trying to use Report to output an xml file with header, body and trailer regions. However, I find that the tool does not allow me to create a header region with info like <report_date>, <report_name>, <report_desc> etc.
Moreover, the tool is not flexible that in the group level, it always automatically fills in the outer tag for me even if I intentionally leave it blank.
So, except using the XML file output function, is there any other way outputing XML file using the tool? Otherwise, I may need to hard code a program to do so!

Reports XML file is driven by your queries and groups therein. This means that the groups (and break groups) are represented in XML form.
It is not driven by the layout. So your header region does not appear.
What I suggest is that you need to create a report level formula column in the Data Model. The formula returns date, name and description etc. Since this is a part of Data Model now, it will appear in the XML output.

2. Click on “Account” at the top and then “Change Features” from the bottom right.
3. Select the device you would like to remove the service from.

Show rows with empty values

Hello,
We are creating a cross tab report, with products as the columns, and relationship managers with direct and shared revenue displayed across the rows.
For Eg

The problem lies when either one of the products has no values, or one of the relationship managers has no direct or shared revenues. If one of the products has no revenues, it disappears, and also when one of the RMs has no direct or shared revenues, the Direct or Shared row disappears.
I have tried to create a second query just included the Coverage variable, and using this variable in Query 2 with the RM variable from query 1, along with checking the "Show Rows with Empty Measure values", "Show Rows with Empty Dimension Values" and "Show when empty", but it still does not appear to work.
It only shows rows with values in them, and shows the rows with empty values at the end with no RM.
I have not tried to solve for empty columns yet.
Help with this would be much appreciated!!!!!!!!

I think you can resolve this issue following ways ,
you need create another query ( Ex :Qauery2 ) add Product object and RM (Direct,shared) object only without conation. So now query2 result wil have all product and RM(Direct,shared).
Merge the Product object and RM between query1 and query2
Now create table using Product and RM from query2 and measure value from query1. Now you will get row even there is no data.
If you want try this sample report using efasion unvierse.
1) Add year ,state and Discount objects and apply condition Year Not in list "2004" and state Not in list "California "
2) run this query and create the cross tab table . Now you will not get 2004 column and California row in table.
3) Create query2 add Year and State only without any condition , run the query. Now query 2 will display all state and year .
4) Merge the column Year and State between query1 and query2
4) Create the cross table ussing Year and state from query2 and Discount from Query1
Now cross table will show 2004 and California ,even there is not in query 1.

[nQSError: 13049] User 'BISYSTEMUSER' with 'empty' permission can not query

On my local OBIEE 11.1.1.5 Windows 64 bit, I get [nQSError: 13049] error all the time. I understand this must be my configuration is wrong somehow, but comparing with correct installations I can't find a clue, and can't find anything from google either.
Could you please suggest what can be wrong? How to add permissions?

Try doing the following things:
1) Make sure the user ID you are using as BISystemUser in EM is linked to the BISystemuser role
2) Add the weblogic user ID to Bi administrator role. ( Do the association in EM ).

How can I make the popup with empty fileds and create new record?

I would like to use a popup to create new record.
I created a af:popup by drag and drop a VO from data control to jsff. then, I created a button and place a af:showPopupBehavior. I was able to popup window by click the button.
however, the window filled with the information from the 1st record. and when I select a record in table and click popup, the popup is filled with that record.
How can I make the popup with empty fileds and create new record by saving the popup?

You can have edit and new buttons, in the PopupFetchEvent identify button source (using popupFetchEvent.getLaunchSourceClientId()) if new button clicked clear the binding using below code.
If you want to see empty fields, in the popup PopupFetchEvent clear the input component bindings.

HTMLBody property occasionally returns HTML with no BODY

Hi,
We have an application that can store away .MSG files saved out previously from Outlook. This program allows the user to reply to these emails and, as part of this, gets Outlook to open the message so that it can extract information. It does this using the
CreateItemFromTemplate() method:
item = outlook.CreateItemFromTemplate(file_path)
The problem is that, for some .MSG files, when we access item.HTMLBody property we get back html with no <BODY>, except for a comment:

Now this email does contain text which you can see if you look at the original email in Outlook, and I would expect the above code to always return HTML, converted if necessary, but this doesn't appear to be the case.
This might be considered 'normal' behaviour, but it doesn't happen for me if I drag back one of these MSG files from the customer site to my development PC and try it here...So why would Outlook behave differently (and can it be fixed)?

MAPI_E_NOT_ENOUGH_MEMORY in the GetProps tab is perfectly fine. What are the contents of these properties when you actually select them?

Yes, I figured that the MAPI_E_NOT_ENOUGH_MEMORY is not an issue itself. The contents of these properties appear to be ok when viewed in Outlook Spy. However, as stated, our software uses Outlook OLE to get the HTMLBody / Body of a MSG file, and that's where
it goes wrong by not returning the text correctly (if at all). I'm just guessing that there is a connection between this Outlook OLE issue and the MAPI_E_NOT_ENOUGH_MEMORY value you see via Outlook Spy.

With some printers it is possible. Try going to the printer properties and selecting Grayscale pprinting.
