Huge bug in messages in iOS6

Anyone noticed the massive bug in messages since iOS6? If you select any of your previous message threads that were there pre-update that show as coming from a name rather than a number, eg banking, companies, etc - the preview is there but then when you touch it to drill down it shows blank, go back and hey presto the entry has completely disappeared. Force close messages and it comes back - but only to do the same thing.
I don't think the messages are being cleared as they come back when you quit i think it is just a bug in showing the messages - but this really needs fixing quick!!!!
Pretty poor bug to introduce this really.

Perhaps this is a stupid question, but I don't see anywhere that you said you saved the file anywhere. You just said you opened Pages, worked on a document for a while, then closed Pages. Did you ever, at any point, save the document you were working on to the desired folder on the external drive, or were you just expecting Pages to do that for you? If the latter, note that Pages cannot know where you want to save a file, and though it will do its best not to lose your changes to a document that has not yet been saved to a specific location, that document can only be saved temporarily to the system drive.
If you did save it to the external drive, but you either didn't see the document in that location at all when you got home or you saw it but it did not contain your changes, the only possibilities I see are user error or a serious problem with your system.
Also, note that you're getting some bad information here. The .DocumentRevisions-V100 is not stored on the "root drive" (whatever that is supposed to mean). It is stored at the root level of whatever drive the document in question is stored on, assuming that volume is formatted as HFS+. (If it isn't, there's a problem that applies to Versions, but not to the specific problem you have described. See Beware Lion’s Versions Bug on Network and Non-HFS+ Volumes.)
So, if the document has, in fact, been saved to the external drive, and that drive is not formatted as HFS+, then you will be unable to use Versions with that document, but autosave will still work just fine, and you should see your latest changes in the document regardless of where you are.

Today I have updated captivate 5 successfully,but found a huge bug!
That is I can't copy and cut any things(e.g. botton,text box...)
If I do copy or cut,the software will stop and never be changed.I can't do anything.
This's terrible! anyone may tell me how to solve it?

Bit difficult to detect the cause, I have patched CP too and do not have that issue at all, neither did I hear about it on this forum until your question. What OS are you on? If it is Vista or Win7 do you run CP as an administrator?
If you did not customize preferences (a lot), I would suggest to delete the preferences folder, while Captivate is closed. When you restart it a fresh folder will be created by CP. It depends on your OS where this folder (labeled Captivate 5) is residing. I'm on Win7 and can find it in: <username>\AppData\Roaming\Adobe

Contacts saved through messaging in ios6 are not shown in contacts

When i receive message from a new non-saved contact and i add it to contacts in messaging by clicking on add contact, it saves it. But when i goto contacts i found it disappeared. Whereas in messages it is shown as saved. When i try to edit it, there's no delete option at the bottom as well. Is it a bug in ios6. Its very much hesitating. I've synced facebook ad hotmail contacts. In contacts i've selected the option select all. Can anybody please solve my issue?

well i had the same "problem" but have you checked the format in which you saved your numbers. for example as you said you are using t-mobile austria whenever you save a number as 0699xxxxxxxx the iPhone usually wont show the caller id.
what usually helps is when you always use the international-format
for example if its an austrian number 0043 699 xxxxxxxx
Or for a vienna-landline 0043 1 xxxxxxxx
and so on and so forth. just try it with one or two contacts and see if that is solving your problem. it solved that problem for me and also somebody else.
(by the way: im using t-mobile austria as well. but originally teh same happened to me with any other simcard i tried)

"Save for Web & Devices" Huge BUG and major annoyance!

Photoshop CS3
I am so tired of losing all of my work for this bug it isn't even funny! It doesn't lock up Photoshop but does make it impossible to save anything including all the currently cropped and resized images open in PS. It forces you to lose hours of work in some cases which is what just now happened and I want something done with this since it is probably the biggest annoyance from a BUG of all the adobe products ever.
To replicate this bug:
Open an image, any image.
Go to File and Choose "Save for Web & Devices".
Once the "Save for Web & Devices" dialog box is open choose save, BUT here is the bug, after the Save As dialog box appears choose cancel to go back to the open and now useless "Save for Web & Devices".
Attempt to now close the "Save for Web & Devices" dialog box.
The issue is it won't close once I cancel after choosing save from the "Save for Web & Devices" dialog. I cannot resize the window or do anything in PS when this happens since it takes complete focus. I cannot close the box or choose from most of the options on the right since now at this point they'll all be blank.
This has happened before and I had learned to save no matter what to avoid this but just forgot and am once again about to lose HOURS of work because of it...
I have searched and searched and cannot find a separate process to close in device manager to stop just it (which is lame). All I can do is close PS and say good bye to everything I had already done.
Of course I would like a solution to this and a fix but having owned Adobe products for years know this is highly unlikely and to get a fix you must buy the new version (pathetic). So, I will settle for yet another hopeful work around to get around this idiotic BUG.
EDIT: I have rebuilt my preferences countless times (since that seems to be needed for so many of Adobe's products issues) as well as complete resinstalls of the CS3 Production Premium Suite to no avail. I have dealt with this issue for several years and several new installs. I have an aviation forum and people have been able to replicate this on theirs installs as well, to include one CS4 user.

I have listened to people. In fact read my second post. It was seeing the 1st two that couldn't duplicate the error get on the phone to a friend in Germany that was able to duplicate it. I then came back here and shared what my suspicions were of the Matrox unit. The other person able to duplicate the issue has yet to return to the forum for me to further check with (I guess some people sleep).
To be clear here. I have owned CS3 since it's release. I have built myself several computers since I bought it and this one is actually the third since then. This particular issue though was never seen until a few months ago since I seldomly use the Save for Web for saving files and just started using it on my latest flash site.
As for video cards. This card I am using is my 3rd. My GTX 260 was great but being having other joys of the PC I also always kept up with the latest and greatest cards so thus came my last purchase of the GTX295 before the newer ones hit. Point being, the issue is most likely my Trip2GO and plan on testing when I get home and get it ripped apart. I do web design on the side which is one reason the trip2Go for my home workstation. The other point is that I do a LOT more than Adobe work and my card needs to be high end and not some cheap card just to make my suite work. Maybe in the future I'll make another comp,,, one for every other product I own and then one just for Adobe's products.
Now as for tech support and myself. I am A+ certified. I am certified in every OS since Dos 6 and a hardware engineer. I do tech support, have 3 support forums and 11 web site, all primarily based on support. My comments above were not about getting mean, it is because Adobe support in general is one of the worst that I have ever had the misfortune to deal with and strongly disagree with the way they cut support and updates to a year old product (that's when no more patches came out I meant and known bugs were written off for the next version). To say try a new video card to me is like a supposed "tech" to say reinstall your OS, or like here reading people say (what I originally said I did) about clearing the preferences. Sure, this help clear up lots of Adobe product abnormalities but listen up folks, it's not a SOLUTION, it is merely a work around. It shouldn't get so screwed up to begin with. This is not my product and although I have tried it, it is wrong to not fix these issues and just expect people to keep refreshing there preferences. It takes me hours and days to get things back the way I want them and normally half way to heaven another bug and I have to reset them yet again! This is us dealing with a broken product, period. It is far from a solution, there's a huge difference.
Moving along,,, This build is a few months old but my windows install is much more recent. All firmware, drivers you name it is up to speed 100% I guaruntee. My hardware is all working perfectly with the propable exception of the Matrox rig. It has to be it. Being that the 1st two people to reply in my own forum were able to immediately duplicate the error had me thinking other but as you should be able to see is that changed fast and if you read this thread from top to bottom you'll see that I have been providing all the answers people are asking.
Thanks again, I'll report back tonight. My current plan is to go through the painful process of getting just one monitor working without the Matrox unit, flushing my preferences and trying again. I think it will work fine but will report back either way.

You can try upgrading your iPhone from iTunes opn your computer. If your phone is jailbroken, it will not work.

The interesting part is that the source code from message pattern website seems doesn't match with the jar file.
We "decompile" coherence-messagepattern-2.6.1.14471.jar and the line numer 400 of MessagePublisher.class is
Logger.log(1,"Destination %s is not found for Id "+this.destinationIdentifier, new Object[0]);
* this is the one caused the exception since you can't provide Object[0] when you have %s in the format string expect an input.
But if I look at the source code inside coherence-messagepattern-2.6.1.14471-src.zip from message pattern page, line 400 of MessagePublisher.class is
Logger.log(1,"Destination %s is not found for Id "+this.destinationIdentifier);

I encountered an identical issue. The root cause is bad logging in messaging.
The reason it happens is items were put to a cache that is backed by a publishing cache store, but there are no publishers attached to that cache. The temporary fix is to either add one or more publishers to the cache, or to alter your coherence config so that this particular cache is not backed by a publishing cachestore.

IOS 5 huge bug ! iPad

Hello I have just discovered an enormous bgt in iOS 5, which intervenes only on the iPad.
I am understandable, when we download an application on the blind. One return automatically on the homepage with the photo of the application and marked load...
However now we return to the blind and however we download another application, magic the application précédament downloaded is not installed(settled)!!
Have you the same bug?

Huge Bugs with Many Legs Still Living in Premiere Pro - (Border from Sharpening & Flickering from Adjustment Layer)

I haven't edited video in awhile. While working on a new project I've run into a bunch of what I suppose are well known issues in Premiere Pro CC 2014. It seems Adobe has know about these issues for some time, but that for some reason, nothing is being done about them. Here is my most recent experience with editing a video using PP:
1. Found that color correction tools in Premiere Pro for setting White Balance Suck for folks who don't edit video 8 hours a day.
Searched on web to find solution find that Adobe has no fix but random humans have found hack solution: White Balance in Premiere Pro CC on Vimeo
The dude shows you how to use the Cyroce Color Neutralizer plugin from After Effects - but sure enough the current version of the plugin that ships with AE CC 2014 doesn't work with premiere any more so you have to download the old version from dude's website here: http://www.sternfx.com/tutorials/136

2. Found out that adding an Adjustment layer can cause flickering in footage.
Searched on web to find solution find that Adobe has no fix but random humans have found hack solution: PP CC 2014 - adjustment layers flickering problem : Adobe Premiere Pro AND Re: image flickering from adjustment layer
Added mask to control flickering. More specifically, I turned each effect in the adjustment layer on and off until I found the particular effect that was causing the flickering. Then I created a mask in that effect which covered the entire frame. Mystically the flickering disappeared. Learned that if you make any changes to adjustment layer effects, flickering will return and you have to delete/recreate the mask once again. Ridiculous.
3. Thought all was good and that I could now peacefully continue to finish my project. I was wrong. Found that adding sharpening in adjustment layer causes a small border to form around the entire frame. The pixels seem faded or translucent or something.
Searched on web to find solution find that Adobe has no fix but random humans have found hack solution: Sharpening bug Premiere Pro - - Fourmedia
So now I've learned that the sharpening effect needs to go on it's own adjustment layer. Awesome.
Flickering returns because I made a change to adjustment layer 1. Re-mask. Sweet.
That's it. Pretty sure this post will help folks out, but man I am going to run out and give another NLE a shot. None of these operations should be this difficult. Makes me wonder if Adobe even attempts to use their own programs. I don't see how anyone could possibly let a huge tool like Premiere Pro suffer from these issues -- and for so long a period of time. Absolutely ridiculous. Adobe truly seems to be asleep at the wheel. This is some amateur crap here.

Slow motion Huge Bugs IOS 8.1 Iphone 6 Plus

When you shoot in either of the two slow motion speeds and plays back ok on phone. I put the files in the computer (grab the raw file via explorer), on Win 7 Professional, and played with both windows media player AND Quicktime player (up to date players) and the videos play either no slow motion, plays alternating between fast and slow, one time it played slow but had normal voice pitch, other times played slow with low voice pitch. On youtube, they don't play in slow motion. One I shot vertically (which I did just as a test) and it was sideways in the computer, however, youtube rotated it so it's vertical but it is not in HD and it does not play back in slow motion. This same file that was sideways in my computer stopped playing after about 2 seconds in the computer, but played through ok in the phone. I noticed that as the video plays in the phone, there are blue vertical lines below the left/right scrub/scroll bar for the video. This can be set to play only a portion in slow motion. But WHY does it start each video with the ends nudged in so the first 3 sec is regular speed and the last 2 are also reg speed also w/the slo-mo in between? It defaults to this each time an you have to spread it out to get all slow motion..
In Win XP, some of the video files don't show up. It shows .aae files with corresponding numbers to the videos, but most of the videos are not there.
I think this is a huge software bug that needs to be tested. I updated the os on my new phone before I put anything into my phone. Everything else has been perfect till this. HELP!

bug: i have an alert("haha"); displayed from an inpage button with javascript, and while the alert message is still open, if i do a refresh i get this error in the error console:

I didn't realize you could reload in that situation; I thought alert() was application modal. Hmmm...

I don't think it has any negative consequence. Did you just want to get it on someone's list to look at, or is it a problem for your page/application?

Need to raise an Alert for huge Volume of messages struck in the queue

Dear All,
I have a query which is mentioned below.
The Partners send huge number of volume of messages at a time to PI Server and due to this reason,the messages are getting struck up in the inbound/outbound queue.Everytime the user manually check for the struck up messages and reprocess it.
Example: One Partner sends 50,000 number of ORDERS at a time.
Now an alert needs to be raised for those messages which got struck up ( i.e. messages on hold and "not failed") in the queue.
Please share your inputs /suggestion.

Lost messages after ios6 update

I updated my phone to ios6 on my iphone 4 - everything is fine except all my messages are gone. They mean a lot to me... please help!!!

Yep, text messages.
I just restored to my last back up - now its wiped everything, all apps are gone off my phone, texts, contacts - everything. I have tried to do it again and it says I dont have enough room on my start up disc. I have never had a problem before so I have no idea what this means.

I've noticed 2 bugs in the AIM software.
The client does not support multi-line messages. So single messages like the following...

appear as...
line 1line 2line 3
Also, messages received by the client at the same time often display out of order.
These two bugs have been giving me problems when communicating with AIM bots. I haven't seen these bugs in the other AIM clients for the bb.
For now I have switched to using instango as an alternative, but I would prefer to use the RIM software whenever possible.
