Huge numbers of sessions being spawned from single session

Hi
I am using Java Hibernate to connect to DB and query for data.
When I am creating a session, I see that there are multiple sessions being created with same username.
I have verified that my program is just creating only one session, but in the database I see multiple sessions.
Understand me???

I have taken the output from V$SESSION
I see that the OWNERID of my job is 2147483644, the PROGRAM is null and EVENT is SQL*Net message from client
But for other sessions the OWNERID is 65668, the PROGRAM is oracle@dwhdmdbp1 and EVENT is PX Deq: Execution Msg
Does this signify anything??
I have Hibernate connection pool size: 5
But I see that there are 50 connection sessions Active on the DB.
Now let me tell you the surprising thing.
When I am connecting to a different DB, only one session is being used.
Please HELP!!!!

Ever since the upgrade to Mavericks, I cannot open a Pages (or Numbers) template without being asked.....
Do you want to add this custom template to the Template Chooser? Then my only options are Cancel or Add to Template Chooser.
If I cancel, it won't open anything.
But this template is already in my Template Chooser.
So the only way to open a template in Pages (or Numbers) is to open the application first, and then click "New", and choose the template.
I can't figure out a way to open the template from outside the application, which is very very handy, rather than having to open the application every time that I want to access a template.

Yes, the problem is that opening the template from outside of the application will not open the application, showing the document. I only get this....

Put your Pages or Numbers document on your desktop and open it by double-clicking it, and you'll understand. You can't do it, even if the template is in your template chooser.
The only way to do this now is to open the application, select "New", and the select the template. So you cannot open a template from outside the application....only from within.

I currently run OS X 10.10.1
Now i have been trying to work on this for a while now and what i want to do should be simple but its apparently not.
Here is an example of what i want to happen.
I will have 2 tabs: Contact | Sales
Now Contacts will have the list of names and various information about a customer, While Sales will have one drop-down box for each Cell Row that will show the names of the person in tab contacts
for what i am wanting to do i cant use the data format pop-up menu because the list is edited everyday several times a day.
Now how do i do this, Excel can do this so how can numbers do it?

Paste this into a applescript editor window and run it from there. In the script you may need to adjust the four properties to agree with your spreadsheet. Let me know if you have any questions.

Changing controlling area from single company code to cross company code

Hi,
Due to my client requirement, in the middle of the year, we need to change the controlling area from being same as company code to cross company code controlling area. Although the currency is same. We are going to create a new company code. Is the changing controlling area settings possible to do? what are the precautions and changes need to be taken?
One more question, we need to change the company code when the new company code is created in the system in Cost Center Masters in the middle of the year. Is this possible after changing controlling area from single company code to cross company code. Right now company code is not appearing in the cost center master.

If both companies having transaction data its not possible,Normally before defining Organisational Strucutre only we have to deside both companies is assigning same controlling are or have to maitain separately for this we have to compare the Fiscal year,Operating chart of accounts ,if both having same then we will assign both the company codes to one controlling area if these two companies having different currencies also its not a problem.When we creating Controlling Area we have to choose option of controlling area as same company code (if one company code one controlling Area) for example if you assigning two companies then we have to use cross company code cost accounting.If u need any further information let me know.

Hi all,
I was wondering how huge numbers that can�ft be satisfied with type long can be added together. And also subtracted, multiplied, and divided. Numbers with 100 digits or so. I am playing with an idea of passing them in as strings. Then string��array or linked list (probably not the smoothest one). But I'm not sure whether this is the way to go.
Any suggestions?

Why are random calendar events being deleted from my iphone when I sync it with ical?

My settings are such that events entered on both devices should push to both devices when I sync. The events being deleted from my iphone are not consistent (ie. older than a certain date), they are random.

This happens to me INCESSANTLY. I'm looking at my calendar events one second, and POOF!, the next second all of the events I've entered into the calendar- with the exception of birthdays that are on the actual contact information for a person- are GONE. My calendar settings are set to sync all events- no timeframe- and always have been. This happened to me nonstop on my old iPhone 3GS, and I was sure it was the phone causing this issue. Now, I have my new iPhone 5 in my hands and same ol' , different equipment. I have done EVERYTHING I can think of to prevent this from happening or to restore the data- including rebooting, holding home button and on/off at same time, etc.- and NOTHING works to restore the data. And then, just as magically as the data disappeared, POOF!- the data is back randomly sometime later. That "later" may be 5 mins, a day, several days. This is an absurd and EXASPERATING glitch that APPLE NEEDS TO FIX IMMEDIATELY!!! I'm starting to hate the iPhone and Apple in general when I continuously experience HUGE glitches like this that have a profound impact on what you're trying to accomplish within a feature that you DEPEND on... yet Apple has "never heard of that problem before". You suck, Apple. Don't send your problems out into the real world, to users who just gave you $800 for another glitchy piece of equipment that never solves your software issues.

I have decided to dedicate this thread to the wonderful errors of Lion OSX. Each time I find a huge problem with Lion I will make note of it here.
Today I discovered a new treasure of doggie poop in Lion. No Save As......
I repeat. No Save As. In text editor I couldn't save the file with a new extension. I finally accomplished this oh so majorly difficult task (because we all know how difficult it should be to save a file with a new extension) by pressing duplicate and then saving a copy of the file with a new extension. Yet then I had to delete the first copy and send it to trash. And of course then I have to secure empty trash because if I have to do this the rest of my mac's life I will be taking up a quarter of percentage of space with duplicate files. So this is the real reason they got rid of Save As: so that it would garble up some extra GB on the ole hard disk.
So about 20 minutes of my time were wasted while doing my homework and studying for an exam because I had to look up "how to save a file with a new extension in mac Lion" and then wasted time sitting here and ranting on this forum until someone over at Apple wakes up from their OSX-coma.
are you freaking kidding me Apple? I mean REALLY?!!!! who the heck designed this?!!! I want to know. I want his or her name and I want to sit down with them and have a long chat. and then I'd probably splash cold water on their face to wake them up.

Supressing windows spawned from Runtime.exec()

Hi,
I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on how to suppress windows spawned from using Runtime.exec(program). I've had a good look at the Process object returned from this and cant find a way to do it. I'd like to keep the process being run completely invisible from the user but i'm getting a blank window appear - spawned from the app being run.
Any ideas?

The exec is called k.exe - its a programming language. I'm writing an interface for a database system called KDB which is implemented in K. (called using 'k db args...').

Firefox is creating huge numbers of crash reports.

Ever since updating to version 20 from 19 Firefox has been creating huge numbers of crash reports and filling up my hard drive. Yesterday it created 8609 reports totaling 312.3 MB. In the first 5 days after the update it created 32,672 reports totaling 1.4 GB. Today it created 60 crash reports in 5 minutes. However it has never crashed! I turned off crash reporting and so far it seems to have stopped. I had to delete the report files to recover the hard drive space.

NOTE: I had to delete most of the printer information from the troubleshooting information to get the post under the 30,000 character limit.

Additional info: I installed Seamonkey (yes, I know, another Mozilla browser). The results with Flash player were the same. 210 crash reports, 7.6 MB in less than 2 minutes. I have submitted a bug report to Adobe as well.

I am confused as to why I am not getting my desired effect for the below code. I am creating a website for someone and have structured the website in the following way:

Now I don't know if I am structuring my website the right way this is just the way that makes sense to me. It might not even be the source code that’s the issue and may be the CSS so I have also pasted that in below.
Now the problems I am having are as follows:
I want to have my whole site wrapped in one big div #wrap so I can centre the whole site. Within that div I want all my other divs (which some have divs inside those as well).
To start #title seems to fit inside #wrap without a problem but #shopping_cart gets push outside of #wrap even though it is inside the opening and closing #wrap tag.
My next div #content_wrap, it seems to be inside #wrap however the margin-top I have applied to #content_wrap pushes it down from #title not #shopping_cart even though #content_wrap is below #shopping_cart not #title.
The second problems seem to be with the divs that are or supposed to be inside #content_wrap.
h2 .header seems to fit inside #content_wrap without any problems. Now it gets really confusing, for me anyway. Any div I put below h2 .header which is inside #content_wrap doesn’t seem to actually go inside #content_wrap or #wrap they get pushed below #wrap even though in the source code they are inside the opening and closing div tags.
Also #side_bar and #content together equal 860px which is the width of their surrounding div #content_wrap so they should fit perfectly side by side. This I know ties into a previous discussion I raised in discussion (http://forums.adobe.com/message/4501038#4501038). I have taken Murry’s advice on board from this discussion and tried floating just #side bar to the left and left enough margin for #content to clear, I also tried floating both to the left. Nothing worked.
As I have been writing this I’ve gone through my code, all the above issues only occur if I float a div. If I float a div for some reason it removes that div from any div surrounding it and pushes it below every single div. I don’t know how to position my divs in the exact place I want without floating them but if I float they get moved out of their parent div and therefore aren’t in the position I want them in either.
If you are able to help me resolve this issue it will help me with all future projects. I really do appreciate any help you can give.

Thanks for your help but still having a few problems;
In design view the code you advised I should add seems to have placed #shopping_cart back into #wrap under #title and above #content_wrap but hasn't when previewed in browser as there is no margin between #content_wrap & #shopping_cart.
#side_bar and #content now seem to sit side by side each other fine in design view and in the browser, however #footer which is in #content_wrap but under #side_bar and #content is behind #side_bar and #content. How do I get #footer to position under #side_bar and #content?
I have added a green background to #footer to make it stand out. I have also added two images one of the site in design view and one previewed in the browser so you can see the difference. I've also pasted the amended code.

Albums being stored as singles?

why are my various artist albums all being stored as singles,now instead of 1 album with 20 songs on it,i have 20 singles each with the same picture from the album it seems very dumb it recognises the album but puts them as singles?but then again itunes is **** ....

Generally all you need to do is fill in an appropriate Album Artist. For more details see my article on Grouping Tracks Into Albums, in particular the topic One album, too many covers.

I put a breakpoint on the call statement here:

But when I hit post in MIGO, it doesn't stop at this breakpoint.
Are you sure MIGO goods receipt posting calls MB_POST_DOCUMENT ???
If so, what am I doing wrong ?
Shouldn't this breakpoint catch the flow if MB_POST_DOCUMENT is being called from MIGO ???

Hi,
Enter all the data in MIGO..
Before pressing the save button..
Put /h in the command field..
When you go to the debugging mode..
In the menu choose...SETTINGS -> UPDATE DEBUGGING..
Now you will get a message..Update debugging is switched on..
Press F8..
The debugging will be opened in an other session..
It will call all the update modules one by one..
Continue till MB_POST_DOCUMENT FM is called..
Update debugging is required for debugging UPDATE FMs.

BI server needs one fact table to be joined to produce the query.
If you are having at least one fact table in the RPD then the dimension table will try to create join with the fact table and produce the result with the dimension table only.
But in the physical query it will have the fact table too.
Or else you can create a dummy fact table in the RPD.

Interactive report: Can I exclude a particular column from single row view?

a bit anxious for suggestions, I guess!
I've added a column with edit-link functionality to my interactive report query (that is, the link
is not attached to the database data... it's an additional column and shows an icon). It's also
in addition to the default single row view link. (We need both.)
Unfortunately, the Edit link column shows up in the single row view. I've pared it down as much
as I can: the label is empty, and the null value shows as "-". But an extra row with "-" is pretty
ugly. Is there a way to always, completely exclude this column from the single row view?
I know I could put the edit link on a data column, but:
1) I want the link to always be to the left of the data (and the user can re-order columns)
2) when the user doesn't have edit privileges, the link will need to be disabled or just not
be displayed, and I think that would be a problem if the link were on the data. (true?)

Please disregard this thread, and the one it refers back to. I see a flaw in the design of what I was attempting to do! Creating the link for Editing as a column means the user could inadvertently not display it, or move it, or... any number of problematic scenarios.
