  • Http to Abap Proxy communication with multiple queues generation in Recevr

    Dear SDNs,
    I need some help in the following scenario, appreciate your suggestions and help .
    I am receiving the messages from sender to PI on http posting, from PI  I am sending the message to SAP system using receiver xi communication channel ( receiver is abap proxy).
    Sender will send the messages in QOS=EOIO, QUEueID=XXXt_100 etc  parameters, when large volumes cases, it is getting delayed to process it using a single queue.
    We are thinking to dynamically  generate multiple queues in PI and send the same queue ids to receiver SAP system to process all the messages quickly in SAP System also.
    Help /Clarifications needed:
    1. XI receiver communication channel in  pi  does not provide any options to generate dynamic queue id based on payload content (using dynamic configuration) and sent it to SAP.
    2. Module Tab in receiver communication channel also got disabled to add  custom adapter modules, can we add custome adapter module on xi receiver channel to generate dynamic queue id ?
    Really appreciate your immediate help and suggestions.
    Thanks.
    Suraj.

    Dear Praveen,
    Thanks lot for the immediate reply, we need to use EOIO, as the messages need to be processed in the same order we send and receive, there is no flexibility in QOS=EOIO, Appreciate if there is any other thoughts?
    Thanks In Advance.
    Suraj.

  • Support package upgrade / SPAU with multiple queues

    Hello,  We are upgrading our support package level on our ECC 6.0 system.  I divided up the support packages into 4 different queues:
    SAP_BASIS
    SAP_ABA
    PI_BASIS
    ST-PI
    SAP_BW
    SAP_AP
    SAP-HR
    After importing each queue, I had a few things to do in SPDD and SPAU.  I created a new SPDD or SPAU transport request for each queue.  My question is now what is the recommended procedure to handle these SPAU/SPDD transport requests when you have multiple queues?  I plan to define the same queues when doing QA and PRD.  Do I mark all of the requests and then when I do each queue, I only specify that particular request?  Thank you in advance for your help.
    Best regards,
    Russ Cook

    Hi Russ,
    when did you export the different SPAU requests or didn't you export them at all?
    If the export happens only after all queues are already imported, this final system state (component version + SP level) is stored in the requests.You are then not able to include e.g. the request for the SAP_BASIS SPs into the SAP_BASIS queue, because the other components are still on the old version, while according to the request they should be on the newer state.
    So, the right procedure would be; import the SP queue, do the modification adjustment for this queue, mark the workbench request as modification adjustment transport request and export this request. Then you can import the next SP queue.
    Best regards,
      Dirk

  • Soap to soap scenario with multiple operations

    hi experts,
       I want to do a scenario in which I have sender RFC(asynchronous) and receiver SOAP(Synchronous) and response will come back to a file.
    Can anyone please help me, how many communication channels are required and how to do configuration.
    regards,
      vineetha chowdary

    > want to do a scenario in which I have sender RFC(asynchronous) and receiver SOAP(Synchronous) and response will come back to a >file.Can anyone please help me, how many communication channels are required and how to do configuration.
    RFC (ASYNC) --->SOAP(SYNC) ---> FILE(ASYNC)
    You can do this with bpm or without bpm.
    Doing WITHOUT BPM is simple.  Refer the following [link   |http://wiki.sdn.sap.com/wiki/display/XI/File-RFC-File%28Without%20BPM%29?bc=true]for handling async sync pattern ...
    Follow closely this link .. ONly difference is file (sender) and file receiver are async and RFC is sync.  In your case RFC(sender) and FIle(receiver) async and SOAP is sync.

  • IDOC to File scenario with multiple directories on same FTP.

    The scenario is IDOC -- to FTP (Receiver file adapter). Based on the condition in the sender IDOC say if EIDKA01-BSART = Y than the directory path on FTP server is 'A' ELSE 'B'.
    There is only one reciever service defined for the FTP server in the Integration Directory. Its not multiple receiver scenario.
    How do we do this?
    Thanks

    Hi !
    Just create an UDF in graphical mapping and put this code inside:
    DynamicConfiguration conf = (DynamicConfiguration) container.getTransformationParameters().get(StreamTransformationConstants.DYNAMIC_CONFIGURATION);
    //get Key of Directory
    DynamicConfigurationKey keyD = DynamicConfigurationKey.create( URLFile, "Directory");
    //Replace value of Directory
    conf.put(keyD,dir);
    where "dir" contains the destination path depending on the EIDKA01-BSART value. When this code executes, if the receiver file adapter has the adapter-specific attributes (directory) checked, then it will set the "directory" value to the one specified in the "dir" variable.

  • JCo Scenario with multiple Backend Systems

    Hello @ all,
    Is it possible to use multiple Jco destinations to multiple Backendsystems in one WD application?

    Alternatively you could try switching the destination through URL parameters

  • Multi-mapping scenario with multiple receivers

    Hello all,
    I have an interface using multi-mapping to generate to different files types from one source; works great.
    JDBC --> XI --> (1) XML (2) CSV
    I now need to have the XML file go to one receiver and the CSV file needs to go to a second receiver.  I've looked at the blog:
    /people/venkataramanan.parameswaran/blog/2006/03/17/illustration-of-enhanced-receiver-determination--sp16
    This blog shows how to configure dynamic receiver determination based on the source data.  In my case the output files are identical (as far as mapping), the only difference is the output format.  Has any one seen a "How to" document or blog more in line to my scenario?
    Regards,
    Jose

    Hi,
    You can also do this way
    You can define as many number of Business system you need. Say for eg you need to send XML to one BS and CSV to another BS.
    Instead of doing Extended interface determination... Goto to Receiver Determination and when you are adding the Receiver service you have the option to add one more Service... There you give both the Business Service and hence you will have two inbound interface and you can different interface mapping and so on..

    Prakash

  • One SOAP-SOAP scenario with multiple interfaces

    Hi,
    I am developing a scenario SOAP-SOAP using PI 7.10 Sp6.
    The wsdl has around 8 service interfaces and i am planning to create 8 Outbound and 8 Inbound interfaces for the same mesg type and create a scenario without MM or Operation mapping.
    If I plan to use only one Sender CC and only one configuration scenario for this developement, how do I provide my end point in the following format?
    http://<host>:<port>/XISOAPAdapter/MessageServlet?senderParty=&senderService=<SEND_BS>&interface=Interface_Out&receiverParty=&receiverService=<RECV_BS>&interfaceNamespace=http://test.com/xi/SAP/
    Venkat.

    Raj/Pavan,
    I added other service interfaces to one service interface in operations.
    But the request messages have not appeared because of which it is throwing an exception when I activate the message interface.
    I do not have problems on the receiving side, One receiver CC should take care of the problem as we dont specify in the recvr SOAP action attribute.
    I am worried about sender side only !
    Thanks,
    Venkat.
    Just now I created a dummy DT, MT and SI and added this to existing even that request message did not show up in the SI.

  • Issue listeneing queue from Weblogic Cluster server with multiple managed server

    Haveing issue listeneing queue from Weblogic Cluster server with multiple managed server.
    Weblogic Cluster structure is like
    Weblogic Cluster01
      --ManagedServer01(http://server01.myhost.com:7001)
      --ManagedServer02(http://server02.myhost.com:7001)

      JMSserver02 targeting: ManagedServer02
      JMSmodule
      ConnectionFactory01 targeting:JMSserver01,JMSserver02
      UDQueue01 targeting:JMSserver01,JMSserver02
    Uniform Distributed Queue in Monitoring tab showing like this
      mysystemmodule!JMSserver01@UDQueue01
      mysystemmodule!JMSserver02@UDQueue01
    So when I am sending message to any Host(by specifying the provider URL) its distributing equally on both server like
      mysystemmodule!JMSserver01@UDQueue01 10
      mysystemmodule!JMSserver02@UDQueue01 10
    But when try to listen message from these queue, it is listening from one server, for which URL given to connect.
      mysystemmodule!JMSserver01@UDQueue01 0
      mysystemmodule!JMSserver02@UDQueue01 10
    untill I connect to other server by giveing its URL, will not able to access other message left on the queue.
    Solutions that tried
      1) we have tried give both server URL coma sparated in provider URL
    we need to configur same scenario for 5 managed server with 3 listener on other servers.
    Do any one have solution for this.

    You need to have:
    1. Consumers connected to each UDQ member
    OR
    2. If no consumers in some of the members is expected, you can configure Forward Delay (specify the amount of time, in seconds, that a queue member with messages, but with no consumers, will wait before forwarding its messages to other queue members that do have consumers):
    http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E12839_01/apirefs.1111/e13952/taskhelp/jms_modules/distributed_queues/ConfigureUDQGeneral.html
    For example you can set it to 10 (10s)

  • Queue assignment to WO with multiple WT's

    Hello,
    I'm trying to figure out the queue assignment for a warehouse order with multiple warehouse tasks.
    My scenario:
    I have a returns delivery for 1 PC of product X. After unloading, this product is transfered to the Quality Inspection area. Based on the inspection result, the product is transfered to scrap or putaway location. I have designed this process using POSC.
    Now, I'd like to use RF scanning for both moves; from GR-AREA to QIS-area, and from QIS-area to Putaway-area. In order to do this, the correct queue needs to be assigned to the warehouse order.
    I've made the necessary queue settings, nut the queue is not automatically assigned to my WO. I think there's something wrong in the WOCR, because the WO Activity area is not automatically assigned to the WO.
    Any suggestions?
    Thanks & regards,
    Oliver

    The issue is solved, I had to make an additional setting in the Queue Determination Criteria.
    It's a bit strange; I already had entered the criterion that all goods from Activity Area 9011 (my GR-area) would be assigned to the INBOUND-queue, though this didn't work for my returns process.
    Now, I've made an additional setting where I;ve assigned the INBOUND-queue to the warehouse process type. Now, the queue gets assigned automatically.

  • File to RFC with multiple records using BPM Scenario Error...!!!

    Hello Guru's,
      I have done the File to RFC with multiple records using BPM scenario as per the Materiel available in the sdn.sap. This involves BAPI (BAPI_MATERIEL_AVAILABILITY). I have done exactly the same what is their in the materiel. SXI_CACHE is also giving return value " 0 ". File is getting deleted from the source directory, but no file in target directory. SXMB_MONI is also showing no error (black Flag). BPM is also error free. Checked the interfaces also.
    Can any one tell me what mistake would i have done.
    Thanks in advance.

  • Multiple queue receivers with disjoint message selectors - portable?

    Hi all,
    I was wondering whether an application that uses multiple queue receivers with disjoint message selectors would be portable across different JMS providers.
    I fear it's not - at least the spec clearly states that the implementation of message delivery to multiple receivers is provider specific, and I couldn't find any comment that this would be different with disjoint selectors. But I wanted to check with you - maybe I missed anything?
    What could be an alternative then (in case you want to avoid multiple queues)? Using a topic with durable subscribers?
    Regards,
    Sabine

    Hi Nimo,
    accepted - as long as the JMS spec requires the JMS provider to support multiple receivers. And that's exactly the point where I'm not sure...
    Literally it states:
    "For PTP, JMS does not specify the semantics of concurrent QueueReceivers for the same queue; however, JMS does not prohibit a provider from supporting this."
    The formulation "does not prohibit" makes me think that JMS allows providers also not to support this, for example, to throw an exception when a second consumer is created for the same queue, or not to serve it at all with messages as long as the first consumer is active. Not that I think it would be a very useful implementation - I just want to know if it would be possible. In that case, the application would not be portable.
    Regards,
    Sabine

    I welcome any other feedback on my code as well, if anyone is willing to offer it.
    My Program Requirements:
    If the user presses the "Shutdown" button, the program should prompt the user with "Are you sure you want to stop the program?" and then either return to the Idle state or proceed to stop the program. Additionally if there is an error, the program should prompt the user with "Clear error and continue, or Stop program?" Then either return to the Idle State or proceed to stop the program.
    Details of architecture:
    The program consists of 3 parallel loops: (1) an Event Handling loop that enqueues various States to a State Queue, (2) a State Machine which enters the latest state that is dequeued from the State Queue, and (3) an Error/Shutdown handling loop which processes any errors in the Error queue.
    During normal Shutdown, in the Event Handling loop the "Program.Shutdown" event case executes, and the States "Shutdown" and "Idle" are added to the State Queue. In the State Machine, the "Shutdown" state is invoked. A special error code "5000" is added to the Error Queue. In the Error/Shutdown handling loop, the "5000" error triggers a prompt that asks the user if they want to stop the program. If the user chooses not to stop, a notifier StopNotif is sent to the "Shutdown" state and "Program.Shutdown" event case with the notification "Go". If the user chooses to stop, the notifier sends the notification "Stop". The Event handling loop and State Machine are terminated if they receive the notification "Stop".
    In case of error, the program behaves similarly: if the user chooses to clear the error and continue, the program returns to the "Idle" state.
    HOWEVER - if the user chooses to stop the program, the program stalls. The notifier that is sent to stop the Event Handling Loop and State Machine cannot be read because the Program.Shutdown event case and the Shutdown state (which contain the "Wait for Notifier" function) are not active.
    I have been able to activate the Shutdown state by enqueuing it in the Error/Shutdown handling loop. But I don't know how to activate the "Program.Shutdown" event programmatically, and thereby access the "Wait for Notifier" function inside it.
    I tried to place the "Wait for Notifier" function outside the event structure, but then the Event Handling loop never completes. Placing timeouts on the "Wait for Notifier" and on the Event structure makes the program work, but I want to avoid using timeouts because I don't want to turn my event-driven program into a polling-based program. I'd also like to avoid using variables or property nodes to stop the loops, because that requires creating a control/indicator for something that the user doesnt need to interact with.
    Thank you!

    Thanks for clarifying that, Ravens Fan.
    I marked crossrulz as the solution for pointing out User Events to me.
    I also adopted Ravens Fan's suggestion to keep the Shutdown procedure out of the Error Handling Loop. This has simplified the architecture by eliminating the need for Notifiers. Instead, I have used booleans in case structures to stop the Event Loop and State Machine, and Release Queue to stop the Error Handling Loop.
    For reference, I'm attaching my corrected code.
    Thank you to everyone who helped!

  • JMS Sender Adapter EOIO with different messages in Queue to RFC

    Dear Colleague,
    In one of my scenarios i am using JMS Sender Adapter and Websphere MQ series.
    In my MQ Series Queue i get different Messages with Different Structures.
    for e.g in my MQ Series Queue Q1 i have M1, M2, M3 coming in Order.
    Now i need to doa  Mapping of M1 to a Standard BAPI  B1 call through RFC at the reciever side.
    Now i need to doa  Mapping of M2 to a Standard BAPI B2 call through RFC at the reciever side.
    Now i need to doa  Mapping of M3 to a Standard BAPI B3 call through RFC at the reciever side.
    We are aware that on Receiver side we can have multiple Recievr Determinations.so i can send it to 3 different BAPIs.
    Question:
    But how do i split the Messges which are coming out of MQ series Q from JMS to 3 different Mapping Structures as we knwo that we do not 'Multiple Sender Interface Determinations' from Determined based on the Message which is coming in.
    Hope i have been clear in making myself understand about the problem given above.
    I have alos given below the same in a bit Graphical Form.
    MQ Series --> M3, M2, M1(Messages) --> JMS Adapte(EOIO) --> M1(Message) -> RFC -> B1(Bapi)
                                                             --> JMS Adapte(EOIO) --> M2(Message) -> RFC -> B2(Bapi)
                                                             --> JMS Adapte(EOIO) --> M3(Message) -> RFC -> B3(Bapi)
    Is it possible to achieve the above result. Answers fo the solution are most welcome. These can be also from the new Netweaver Release Versions. If we have the solution to these in New version we will implment the New Netweaver Releases.
    Thanks & Warm Regards

    Dear Kai,
    if i have 3 MQ series Queues then how are we going to maintain the flow of the Messages in the same order in which has come into MQ series queues.
    this mesans to say that all the Message come in Parallel out from JMS or MQ side and will be mapped onto Reciever side.
    But in my case i wil need to have M1 first M2 second and M3 third.
    This means to say that M1 recived and acknowledged then M2 should come and acknowledged and then M3 should be acknowledged.
    How this will be possible with your solution of making 3 MQ series Queues.
    Please do let me know.
    Thanks
    Venugopal
