Hyperlinks between RH projects linked with FM books

HI, I want to link multiple framemaker books to robohelp and use each book as a child project in a master project. However, there are multiple hyperlinks between the framemaker books. I have created individual RH projects, and linked a single book to each project. I generated them all into a master project (as usual), but the hyperlinks between the projects (that worked fine between the PDFs generated from the original Framemaker books) are broken in the output. I check the html of the hyperlinks in RH, and while the text is recognized as a hyperlink, the href tag is missing.
Note: All links with target and destination in the same book / project work fine.
I could create a single book containing all these books, and then link this book to FM, and this would probably avoid the issue, but it wouldn't be a good solution as I would then have workflow / source control issues. Also, I would obviously prefer not to have to manually repair the links in RH, due to time contstraints.
Any suggestions?

How long a path length are you looking at for the linked FM documents? It turns out that RH is very sensitive to the length of the paths that make up the cross-references in FM when turning them into hyperlinks in RH.

I am making an array of quads of all the hyperlinks in a document. I would like to automatically skip over all the bookmarks in the starting pages of a document and just get the links of the hyperlinks.
Now I have to manually set the pages that contain bookmarks so they are not included in the array.
Is there any way to determine if a link is a book mark or hyperlink in java script?

Main Problem:
I have been working on converting a set of pdf files with 1000’s of hyperlinks like www.site.com\folder1\file1.pdf#page=10
To jump to a local copy of the files with a relative type link
../folder1/file1.pdf and then go to the proper page.
I have found that it can be done manually by changing the hyperlink to a javascript

and setting each destination file with a disclose()=true;

I have resorted to the following plan using acrobat javascript, an external keyboard macro recorder and excel in combination to get around the problem
Four folder level acrobat javascripts with “buttons”
One to get all the link quads in an array, in the pdf and report the total number
The second creates a form field in the far corner of the first page and moves there.
The third jumps to each link found by creating a form field just to the left of the link and zooms in so it can be selected by a “mouse click” from the keyboard macro recorder
The forth deletes the form field
The keyboard macro recorder runs javascript 2 and then 3 then clicks on the link just to the right of the middle of the screen and uses keys to get to the advanced editing to get to edit the hyperlink .
The hyperlink is then copied to excel where it is converted using string functions to the needed javascript text to be copied back.
To the acrobat file into a java script (after deleting the hyperlink)
Rinse/lather/repeat
I have been able to convert about 150 links an hour.
Better then hand typing, but not like having java access to the links.
I am looking to improve the solution

I may have been confusing a "acrobat bookmark" and a bookmark in a word file that is converted to a pdf and ends up being a
link of the type:
"Go to a page in this document"
which I do not want in my array vs
a link of the action type:
"Open a web link"

Link between implementation project configuration (SOLAR02) and ChaRM?

Dears;
We want to benefit from listing all IMG Objects and developments in an implementation project (SOLAR02) to control our transports as we have ChaRM activated on the affected systems.
But there seems to be no link/control which has several consequences:
*Status of "changes" in ChaRM and related developments in the implementation project have to be tracked seperately
*There is no link between the development in the project (SOLAR02) and the created TR.
*There is no limitation/control in the content of the TR if it concerns items not listed in your project => how to check if the project is up-to-date?
Are my assumptions correct? Or am I forgetting something?
What is the experience in maintaining changes (transports) for implementation project? On what level? Linked with the structure in Solar02 or completely independant?
I have done quite some reading around the topics but documentation around project management via SolMan and ChaRM via SolMan seems never to be really connected? (only the overall status of the project and the activation of charm via SOLAR_PROJECT_ADMIN)

So this does mean that (what my understanding was) I have to create a normal change via ChaRM but under the project for example a certain business scenario. That developers work on all topics related and should "remember" that if they put something under that transport they should verify if this is documented in the SOLAR02?
If then the change is put to testing they should manually update the status of everything related to this transport in the SOLAR02...

Help with Links to my book/publisher page from ibook to ibookstore

My question : What is the correct way to get links to specific ibooks and publisher pages and on the iBookstore - as I have had trouble with mine.
Many of the iBooks and ePubs samples (Dorling Kindersly for example) that I've downloaded from the iBookstore have a button at the back which takes you to the page for the book itself where you can purchase the complete book.
Similarly on the books themselves they have links to their publisher pages.
• Firstly, I can't work out how to link to a book which hasn't been published yet - So at the back of my samples I put a button next which links to my 'Publishers Page' (see below)
• Secondly, I can't work out how to make a proper publisher page - if there is such a thing - the only way I've managed is to add the publishers name as an 'Author' to the book itest, searching for the authour in linkmaker, then linking to that page:

The main issue is that on my clients (newer) ipad some of the links behave differently... some only take to search page.

• Finding the links by going to http://itunes.apple.com/linkmaker/ then searching for the name of my publisher, where I get to link to the 'artists page' then as all my publications will list the publisher as an Author, when in the new sample they visit this link it should take them to the page with all our publications on, including the one that they have just downloaded a sample of.

Only you can make that determination. All things being equal the 2.5 GHz model is slower.

You can sync contacts between your Apple Address Book and the Outlook address book via sync services with Outlook.

Streaming will be faster from the new iMac. However it is still a good idea to keep the bulk of your material, 400 GB is a lot of content, on external drives. That serves to protect the material if an internal drive fails, and also keeps the internal drive from getting too loaded down. You can increase speed by simply moving content you want to use in the short term to the iMac SSD where it will be at its fastest speed, and then take it off when no longer needed there.
That gives the speed and security for your material.

You may not be able to pair a third party (non Apple) keyboard. Most likely incompatible with your Mac.

when we create normal sub con PO, it works fine. but when i create it w r t project link (account assignment Q & item catagory L)
at the time of goods issue against purchase order it show error :
no materials available for this PO.

Normal subcontract the consumption of components happenes by 543-o movement type. When you give account assignment Q in PO the consumption happenes via 543 Q. Which is not a vendor stock, it is a project stock. So system will not allow you to send components to vendor via 541. This is normall scenario in Make to order scenario.
What you need to do is, Go to material masters of compnenets and MRP-4 view give "individual.coll" field as 2 that is collective requirement only. Then system will consume stock from 543-o. So it will allow to issue material using 541 for subcontracting PO.

Excelreportdemo project link error with CVI2010 on windows 7, 64-bit operating system

I am trying to run the excelreportdemo project in CVI2010 on windows 7, 64-bit operating system. I have the Excel2013 installed as well. I have chosen the build configuration as release or debug for 32 bit system so to be compatible for the test platform for production.
However, I get 12 Project link errors as following:

Links in TOC books

I'm working with RoboHelp X5 in a HTML help project. I have a
project example that has links to the TOC books. You click in a
link and it shows you the explanation of a TOC book. I know how to
do books with links, but I don't know how to link text to TOC
books.

Hi kamarques and welcome to the forums.
I'm not sure I understand exactly what you are trying to do.
When you link to a book in the TOC, you are actually just
connecting that book to a topic. If you want to link text to that
same topic, you would just select that topic when you hyperlink the
text.

On our project site, with Firefox 4 and 5, buttons don't take the keyboard focus if you mouse-click on them. Is this a problem of our site?

On a page like http://www.ori.uzh.ch/links.html, clicking a link opens a new tab, and after closing that tab, you can move to the next link with the tabulator key. On that site, it still works with Firefox 5. I also worked on our project site (password secured, sorry) with Firefox up to 3.6.18. But now, if I open a link with the mouse, close that tab again and press the tab key, the focus just goes to the first clickable button, as if I had not clicked any button previously. If I open a link by tab key and "enter", the keyboard focus is preserved on that button. But there are many many buttons on our pages, and they reload frequently.
BTW I adjusted the system preferences, so that the keyboard focus moves between all controls. (see http://www.tipstrs.com/tip/1505/Tab-key-to-select-form-elements-in-Firefox-on-the-Mac). But I don't think the problem is related to that.

I found out that our buttons are no links, but input tags, type="submit". I'll discuss the problem with our programmer.

Adding a Second Project Site with same restore data

This is the first time I've had to accomplish this
I have a dev server where I restore a backup from 2 weeks ago to http://devserver/pwa
My team has asked for a restore from 2 weeks + 1 day to http://devserver:99/pwa - I've tried deleting site collections, tried several other ways of doing the restore; however, during the mount-spdatabase I get only 1 site to come back (pwa) but
it doesnt show in the site list
The enumallwebs shows the following (notice the in sitemap)
stsadm -o enumallwebs -databasename content_database
databse site count 1
<site ID = random characters > <owner = farmguy> <In sitemap = False>
Web count = 235

I believe/know the issue deals with the same site ID being on the first pwa site; however when I try to do a Mount-SPContentDatabase content-database -WebApplication "http://dev:99" -AssignNewDatabaseID I still get the same issues - new database
ID but still same site ID for the "dev/pwa" site database
Is there anyway to clone (yes I've seen the other articles) or have two sites with the same data?
I've also thought about trying to export the stsadm enumallwebs data and copying that to a new PWA site but have been unsuccessful in the export (or even finding a way to do it)
Can I get any ideas on how to either
1) Change the site ID from a database backup/restore
2) Restore a PWA site to the same server/database server
3) other ideas?
My team members would like to do a comparison of the two dates between a project to check for differences (I just found out about
FluentPro Audit Lite Pro)

I'm still experiencing issues

Database (I also did the site collection backup)
1) Trying to do an Import-SPWeb but this was unsuccessful
created a web application 99 -> provisioned a pwa with the old databases -> data appear in project center but when you click on the sites it gives an error message

the below while it held promise it didnt work for going against a separate port... using the data from an unattached content database export (link above)

4) I'm still unsure how to approach what Krishnp stated...
unless #2 was his approach
Any other help would be greatly appreciated - I'm trying everything it's time consuming since the backup files take over an hour to restore to a site - while it is faster to do the original when its just one content database/4 pwa databases...
I've read its possible to do to different ports (of course I closed the page) but I have only seen one post point it out
