I added an add-on somewhere that affected all areas of my computer. I want to get rid of it but cannot find it. Any suggestions?
The add-on made it possible for me to use a single click and have the same effect as a double click. I don't know where I got the add-on from, but I am 99.9% sure it was a Firefox add-on.
Try [http://www.revouninstaller.com/revo_uninstaller_free_download.html Revouninstaller ]. It will display all installed programs including hidden ones. The ones that won't show up in Add/Remove Program.
The link goes to the freeware version.
It's the only uninstaller I use. Been using it for years.
It won't operate on FF Extensions though. For that go into FF Extensions and search for "Add-ons Manager" It will list everything in FF.

Not uncommon with spotify. If you have 'Trashit', that will almost certainly clear it. If not, download it from here. Download Trash It! for Mac - Force-empty your trash can. MacUpdate.com

I am trying to get rid of DigiSave ads, cannot find the add-on bar to remove.
DigiSaver is popping up all over the place, and I need it removed. How do I do this? There is no Add On bar on my Firefox page and this all started after the last Firefox update. I want it gone, it is intrusive and I never requested it.
You can disable Digisave by going:
*Click the orange Firefox button > Add-ons > Extensions
*Find ''DiguiSavEr'' and Remove it. -
I used scripting brigde to add a movie that has size bigger than 5GB, exactly after two minutes iTunes return a failed, but the processing of the file is actually added to iTunes Library successfully. The copying take more than 5 minutes to complete. Why the iTunes Scripting Brigde returned failed when it is actually success? It occurred exactly 2 minutes after submit the request to Scripting Brigde. Is this 2 minutes related to the Apple Event time out? if it does, how do I get around this problem? thx
I can tell you that this is some of the absolutely worst customer service I have ever dealt with. I found out from a store employee that when they are really busy with calls, they have third party companies taking overflow calls. One of those companies is Xerox. What can a Xerox call center rep possibly be able to authorize on a Verizon account? I'm Sure there is a ton of misinformation out there due to this. They don't note the accounts properly or so everyone can see them. I have been transferred before and have asked if they work for Verizon or a third party also and was refused an answer so, apparently they aren't required to disclose that information. I spent a long time in the store on my last visit and it's not just customers that get the runaround. It happens to the store employees as well and it's beyond frustrating.

I bought a second apple tv and would like to control it with the remote app but cannot find a way to add a second device. Anyone have an idea how to do that?
I'm having the same issue and would like to get some help. I set up a second Apple TV in our bedroom and wanted to be able to control it using my iPhone like I do with the Apple TV in the living room. The new Apple TV is active on the network and I've made sure the same Apple ID is used for both the Apple TV as well as the Remote App on my iPhone. I'm just wondering what I might be overlooking.

Having switched from iPhoto to ICloud Photo I find that their are many, many double and triple photos. Just added a small folder of photoes and all are showing in photos as doubles. What am I doing wrong?

I suddenly have a "Bing" screen when I sign onto Firefox---and I want to get rid of it. The support section of Firefox says
1. "From the menu at the top of the Firefox window, seledt Tools and then select the Add-ons menu item."---but I see no "menu item" nor Tools, much less Add-ons.
2. "In the Add-ons window, click on the Extensions panel."---but how do I find the Add-ons window?
3. Find the Bing Bar and Search Helper Extension in the list and click Disable for each of them."---but what and where exactly is that?
At the top of the screen is only a Yahoo icon on the left and to the right of it a search box, "Web Search,", "My Apps," Yellow Pages," "Weather," "Updates," and "Skype." to the right of those there is a green cross saying "Add more apps. to your toolbar" and to the right of that a sort of gear shift looking icon saying "toobar settings."
So, in short, how do I get rid of the Bing screen and how do I access those Tools?

I have 20 apps that flashes a "waiting" sign on the icons that I have tried to update. it's now over 2 weeks and the updates haven't been completed. I have added on some new apps and they are working fine, I a not able to delete or. Reinstall those apps. Any suggestions?

Got it sorted though. Seems that Apple has issues with multiple apple id's.
Seems i had to somehow remember and use the original id i had when i first bought my 1st iPhone. . . .
Even after that it was extremely hard to get my apps back on my PC.

Smart Suggestor keeps popping up and I want to uninstall but cannot find it. It is not in my add-ons, extensions, programs, folders...no where! There is no buttons to click on my right hand tool bar etc. I am running foxfire 13.0.1, windows 7. It is very annoying, so any help would be greatly appreciated.

I should add that this has never been Jailbroken. I keep reading that a lot of times this is the case for a jail broken phone.
I have also gone through the not very helpfull steps on apples site to fix this.. It is not a security issue since i dont have an antivirus or any 3rd party software for my computer. -
I cannot add a Wi-Fi guest network. Gone to Utilities>Airport Utilities and all I get is an image/browser of my Airport Extreme. Looking for the browser window which has the title Wireless but cannot find anywhere. What am I doing wrong?
Open AirPort Utility. The first screen looks something like this:
Click on the AirPort Extreme and another screen will appear. Click Edit, then the window with the Wireless tab will appear.
If you do not see these screens, you will need to start over and configure your AirPort again. -

Accounts cannot be merged, purchases made under an account cannot be transferred to another account.
