I am getting a black/yellow sign with NETBLOCKADE on it when I try to open youtube, and of the Facebook games.......what happened and how can I correct this?

I do not know what else to write except my question. The page will open up but where the scene I am suppose to watch on YouTube or the area where the game is suppose to be played....this warning sign in black and yellow strips with netblockade written across it appears and I can not go forward since it is blocked!!!! I do not know what happened. What can I do to remove this block? Thanks

Go to image>mode and note the color mode (rgb, bitmap, etc) and bit depth of your photo. For the most possible use of PSE it should be RGB 8 bit.

What does it mean when iPhoto displays a warning sign with an exclamation point when you try to open a photo in your library?

What is iPhoto 11 trying to tell me when it displays a warning sign with an exclamation point in it when I try to open a photo in my library? I'm corrupted file and that since there are many I may have a bad drive. I have 2 time machine backups (one is off site) but its not clear to me if I can restore individual photos or whether it's worth even trying since ther are many.
Any thoughts from people who have experienced this would be much appreciated.

I rebuilt it using iPhoto Manager and that appears to have worked. I did the rebuild onto a different drive and I'm now working to determine if there is a problem the the external drive that held the corrupted library.

If there are problems with updating or with the permissions then easiest is to download the full version and trash the currently installed version to do a clean install of the new version.

Yesterday I download Firefox 4. When I tried to open it I got message that Firefox was "working offline" How can I change this back to on-line when I can't get any farther? All other programs work fine, I just cannot access the internet.

Computer is a desktop running Windows Vista. IE will not open either saying "there is a problem and shutting down". My laptop with Firefox 3.6 works fine.

You're ignoring context. On the old Apple Discussion Groups I never posted replies like that, instead giving people relatively detailed answers. The new Apple Support Communities made things worse by introducing certain inefficiencies. Then came Lion. The flood of messages that came with Lion required a painful choice for any of the people who had been helping here: (1) Give quality responses to a few questions and ignore the rest. People who needed help with Lion problems seemed to have trouble discovering existing message threads that described how to solve their problems. The people helping here are all volunteers. None of them is being paid for the time they spend here. They all have a life outside of Apple Support Communities. It's arrogant of you to demand that people helping here spend more time than they already do.

Did your wife tick the box on the Yahoo sign in page to remember her for two weeks?
It would be best two have two separate Firefox profile folders, one for each of you to prevent such problems.<br />
Then you also do not have problems with deleting or changing bookmarks.

If you are sure that you have sound in other apps - and if you can still hear keyboard clicks and get notifications, then system sounds are not muted. Try this and see if it works.
Close all apps completely and reboot the iPad.
Go to the home screen first by tapping the home button. Double tap the home button and the recents tray will appear with all of your recent apps displayed at the bottom. Tap and hold down on any app icon until it begins to wiggle. Tap the minus sign in the upper left corner of the app that you want to close. Tap the home button or anywhere above the task bar.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.

Add this one to the list of thinks that don't work on the Apple Job Board. It looks like Apple is using ADP's VE (Virtual Edge) technology to run this system, and I've been stupified by the number of features that are just broken, or so poorly thought out by ADP as to be unusable, (certainly for webkit and mozilla browsers at least: I didn't bother checking IE.)
Here are a few highlights:
"My Job List", list of jobs applied for, seems to max out at three. You can apply for more than that, but you can only see the first three.
"Search Using Your Resume" feature yields few or no results, even when the pasted text contains only common, exactly matched words like 'Design' or 'Engineer'.
The missing resume upload, described in this thread.
"My Job Agent" seems to never flag anything, at least it hasn't ever for me despite pretty loose criteria.
Agent's created using "My Job Agent" eventually just disappear, which is fine because they don't seem to work.
When updating a profile, acknowledging the 'Terms' happens twice in a row.
Job seekers can only supply one cover letter despite being able apply for several jobs.
Pagination for search results only appears at the top of the page, so it's necessary to scroll down through each page, then up to the top again to proceed to the next page.
Well, I'm sure there are others, but you get the idea. I hope the Apple folks can fix this, (or twist ADP's arm to fix it,) so it better represents the quality of experience that Apple is so respected for consistently delivering.

HALF-SOLUTION!!!! (Restoring only, basically.)
Restore the phone via iCloud.com
1. Go to iCloud.com , and log in.
2. If you want a back up, make sure you back it up to itunes now!
3. Now back to iCloud.com - select the device you want. Press "Erase iPhone" (or iPad, iPod whatever).
You will go through a few steps. Skip the phone number and leave a message, as it isn't lost. Your phone will be restored. No need for plugging in!
4. IMPORTANT: Just set it up as usual. Language, country blah. But then you'll get to a step where it says something like "This iPhone was erased with iCloud. Log in with the Apple ID you used to erase it". In this case, my Dad's. So please do that. Later on, the phone will ask for an Apple ID to be used for the phone. I put my own one as I didn't want my dads!!!! Lol....
5. Plug into iTunes and back-up.
As for updating, I'm still on 7.0.2,,, it ain't working on my phone or itunes!! :(
