I just got an iphone 3gs a couple weeks ago. i had the current updates installed and everything, my itunes says its up-to-date. However, when i try to send a picture, it won't let me send it to a cell phone number. And i noticed on my friends iphone (which is not a 3g) but has the current operating system he has this little button camera next to the box where you can type your message text. When you reset the password, you need to enter the password into the outgoing server setting again. I have reset my email passwords a couple of times and I had to enter the password into the outgoing server setting before I could send mail again.
Did you try that? If you did try it, did you try sending an email? You can send yourself an email to test it.

Some texts not being able to send with iPhone 6 Plus 8.1

I recently upgraded my iPhone 5 to the new iPhone 6 Plus. Since then, I have noticed some issues with iMessage. I have not had this problem with any of my other iPhones in the past. I am now experiencing problems when I text certain people I get an exclamation mark with a message saying that the message was not delivered. How do I fix this? This happens with a handful of contacts. Others go through just like normal with no problem. My iPhone 6 Plus is updated to the latest software.

Just purchased an ipad mini and was wanting to transfer some pictures via bluetooth from my Imac to my Ipad mini? Is this possible?
They are paired but when it goes to transfer files, it says connection lost. Is there another way of transfering files from the computer to the ipad mini?

No, Bluetooth on the iPad is aimed at devices such as keyboards and heapphones : supported Bluetooth profiles.
You can sync photos to the iPad via your comptuer's iTunes. Connect and select your iPad on the left-hand sidebar of your computer's iTunes (with iTunes 11 you can enable the sidebar via option-command-S), and on the right-hand side there should be a series of tabs, one of which should be Photos - if you select that tab you can then select which photo folders/albums to sync to the iPad. There is a bit more info on this page. You will need to sync all the photos that you want on the iPad together in one go as only the most recent photo sync remains on the iPad - synced photos can't be deleted directly on the iPad, instead they are deleted by not including them in the next photo sync.
There are also third-party iPad apps such as Simple Transfer which allow you to copy photos to (and from) the iPad via your wifi network.
For documents you can use the file sharing section at the bottom of the device's apps tab when connected to iTunes, via wifi, email, dropbox etc.

POP does not support synchronization between the server and clients. You will need to use IMAP or Exchange Active Sync if your email provider supports it.

Not being able to send or recieve messages

I own a galaxy s5 and the past few days I havent been able to send or recieve messages. When I try to send messages it gives me the message not sent notification. I can still call people and data is still working its just text messaging that isnt working. Ive looked at numerous discussions and have done everything theyve suggested but to no luck. If anyone can give me suggestions it would be greatly appreciated.

jamjacov99 Being able to send and receive text is very important. Are you using the stock text app or a 3rd party text app such as handscent emojis,hangouts, ect? Also, we understnad that others have tried steps but please let us know exactly what has been tried becausewe can only see what you post here. If you haven't done so already, go into settings, app manager, all apps, text messaging, and clear data, clear cache, and force stop. Then retest.

"Message Not Sent" Error When sending picture via text message

I have a Droid 2 and I am unable to send a text with a picture. I use the phone in the field and need to send images of land with a text message but so far am unable to do so. I have checked my options settings in My Verizon and do not see anything that may be preventing from doing this function. It is not a signal strength problem. Also this is not an intermittent problem. It just will not send a text with a picture 100% of the time. Not having a problem with regular texting. Can anyone help. Thanks

Are you able to send pictures when you are not in the field? When you are unable to send a picture are you able to access the internet? Have you successfully sent a mms in this area before? My iPhone 3GS is no longer able to send pictures via text??

I've done a total phone reset, taken it to the ATT store (they checked all the MMS settings and they were correct), sync'd it to itunes and downloaded all updates...but still can't gte it to send pictures via text?
This all started last Monday when I traveled out to las Vegas...every picture I tried to send would get the status bar about 95% across on the send before popping up a red exclamation point next to the picture that gives me a "message failed to send" error. Here's a screen cap:

I had same problem. Check your Settings/General/Network/Cellular Data Network - make sure your MMSS has 2 // After http, ie, http//... If you have to change this, make sure you switch iPhone off and restart after 20 seconds, go back to your settings to make sure changes have stayed put. Then take a photo and MMS it to yourself, this will take a minute or 2 to go through.

Trying to send files/pics via Bluetooth from my BB 8310 to my Mac OS X 10.5.5. with no luck.
From the menu options from the chosen picture I want to send, I select "send using Bluetooth"
It then prompts me to select a device.
I select my MacBook (BB and my Mac obviously paired).
Then the a File Transfer message tells me : "Failed to Find Service"

Tripper: Sorry for my delayed response (very sick dad in the hopsital). Also, sorry I answered the *wrong* question. To transfer files:
On each Mac OS X 10.5-based Mac, from the Apple menu, choose System Preferences.
From the View menu, choose Sharing.
Check (click) the "On" box next to Bluetooth Sharing.
Close the Sharing preferences window.
Select the file that you want to transfer.
Select "Send Using Bluetooth" from the Blackberry menu.
You will now receive a pop-up asking you to select a device. Select the paired computer you want to transfer the file to.
The file will start transferring. If you selected "Ask What to Do" in the Bluetooth prefs,you'll get a pop-up on the computer asking you if you want to accept or decline the file transfer.
That's it. Let me know if you still have problems.

Cannot Save pictures that come from a Samsung phone on iPad/iPod/iPhone

I've tried this across several devices and have found a conflict only with this specific set of devices. If I try to send a picture from certain Samsung phonse to an iOS device (be it iPad, iPod, or iPhone) via email or MMS I am able to view but not save the image. I've posted a problem image on the web so that others can observe this issue.
Using safari navigate to http://twitpic.com/3humzm/full . The image displays fine.
Press-and-hold the image to open the menu and then save the image.
Go to the photo application and attempt to view the photograph. It won't allow you to view the photograph.
What I don't understand is the image displayed just fine within Safari, within e-mail, and within the messaging application. The problem only occurs if one decides to save the image. The other confusing thing is this only happens if the image came from certain Samsung phones.
I can't pin the problem on Samsung or Apple. My Apple devices have no problems with images from other devices, and other devices have no problems with images from the Samsung. Does any one have a clue what is happening here?

Update: I got a friend to try it on an iPhone with 3.1.3 and the problem does not occur for her. I don't have iPhones laying around with all the other possible firmware versions, but I am starting to think this is specific to the 4.2 firmware.
