I am setting up my new iPhone 5s with back up from iCloud but only my expired applied is recognised. even though i put in the original correct password it is not accepted as message comes up that "your apple id or password is incorrect". I am stuck.

I am setting up my new iphone 5s using a back up from icloud. Problem arises when asked for Apple id and password the second time for store purchases. It shows my old expired Apple id (my old email address). There is no option to change the id and even when I put in the correct password for the old id (used originally) it kicks me out with the message ""Your Apple ID or password is incorrect" .. this is true as my apple id is wrong but I cant change it. Anyone know what I should do. Dont have access to my old deleted email account. Thanks

Thanks. I can change the forwarding settings in Gmail to be either POP or IMAP. That is quite simple. I just looked at those settings on the Gmail server and, to my surprise, both are enabled. In order for outlook client on my computer to receive IMAP emails I have to change the email account settings in my current outlook from POP to IMAP. I don't need to be using the Exchange version of Outlook to receive IMAP. I guess I'll do a little research tomorrow on Exchange so i can figure out what, if anything, it might do for me.
I glanced at the link you sent me and it looks like it might be very helpful - another project for tomorrow.
BTW: I hit "This Solved my Question" by accident. I meant only to "like' your response so you would get some benefit from the help you've given me so far. I hope I haven't discouraged others from taking a shot at helping me. I suspect there is more than one way to approach this and, as you know, my problem isn't really solved until I have what I need all set up and running smoothly.

You have to start by erasing your phone. If you have any newer data on your phone that is not contained in the backup you'll need to save that first. Then go to Settings>General>Reset, tap Erase All Content and Settings, go through the setup screens on the phone and when given the option, choose Restore from iCloud Backup and follow the prompts, choosing the backup of your old phone to restore from.
Be sure your phone is connected to wifi and your charger while it is restoring the backup.

While im playing games and their running choppy and slow and if i take a snap shot inside the phone. They run smooth and HD but just for a few seconds and boom they go back to slow and choppy. As far as I know you can't delete the primary email address for an iCloud account. It's assigned when the account is created. But your neighbor wouldn't have been able to get into your iCloud account without your Apple ID and password. Are you sure the account wasn't still on your phone when you gave it to him?
You could migrate a copy of your data to a new iCloud account but I would still be concerned that someone else was using my old account, which presumably still has your data in it.
I'm fairly certain that you're going to have to have iCloud support help you sort this one out as they may have the ability to make changes to an existing account that users can't. Make an appointment with the genius bar at a nearby Apple store and have them take a look at it. If necessary, they should be able to contact iCloud support for you.

I understand that the OP failed to do research. But then, I wasn't replying to the OP. I was replying to Chris. I have Verizon. I can talk and use data at the same time with my Droid Maxx. Therefore, the problem is not just with the network. It would be technically possible for an iPhone to do that on Verizon/Sprint if Apple had chosen to use a different chip, such as the kind other phone manufacturers have elected to use.
Of course, this is probably all irrelevant to the OP's issue. It was merely a point of clarification, especially for those people who are used to being able to use both voice and data at the same time on Verizon. When they switch to an iPhone, they are often surprized at the limitation.

Backing up to icloud is not the same as syncing data between devices. Go to
Settings>Store. Turn on the automatic downloads that you want on that screen.
Settings>iCloud. Turn on the features you want to sync between devices.

I think I am following -- I was able to upload to my iPhoto and all photos and videos are there that is a plus! I tried to create an Event in my iPhoto and put all of my photos in that event but for some reason, now my iTunes it not recognizing that Event in my iPhoto. It is not allowing me to import just that event at the moment but I may be doing something wrong. At least all of my pics and vids are in iPhoto so that is a plus and I know they are at least saved somewhere. Just for some reason, my iTunes it not locating the event that I created with only those photos.

Unforutnatly I am like 2 iOS updates behind because I don't have enough storage on my phone. I set up new phone (5) as a "new phone instead of backing up from icloud. How can I get back in to use the icloud backup? If I hit "delete account" does that just clear the new phone or does it get rid of my whole icloud account.

In the set-up process I clicked "set up as new phone" when I should have clicked "back up from icloud". I can't use itunes for the back up as it is not current. Is there a way to get back into setup? If I click "delete accout" in icloud management will it clear just my phone (so I can start over) or will it actually delete my icloud?

Settings>General, scroll to bottom of screen and tap Reset, choose to delete all data. Then attach to itunes and choose to perform a restore. You'll get the option to restore from icloud.

Go to Settings>General>Reset and tap Erase All Content and Settings. This will erase your device. Then you will go through the setup screens again as you did when your device was new, and when given the option, select Restore from iCloud Backup.

Have you set the Print Product Store in the iPhoto Preferences?
In the Preferences > Advanced panel set the Print Products Store to "Austria".
