Could you post your diagnostics for us please?
In iTunes, go "Help > Run Diagnostics". Uncheck the boxes other than DVD/CD tests, as per the following screenshot:
... and click "Next".
When you get through to the final screen:
... click the "Copy to Clipboard" button and paste the diagnostics into a reply here.

HT203164 Error trying to burn a CD from an iTunes playlist - files not found on hard drive??
I have a new computer with Windows 8 Home Premium. Before the old computer crashed, I had backed up all my iTunes Media in the cloud. I had also purchased a soundtrack album from the iTunes store and put the songs into a playlist. All media was matched with the new computer, and the new computer was authorized by me in iTunes, so all my previous media shows up in iTunes on the new computer. The only symbol next to the song titles in iTunes for all my songs is a picture of a tiny cloud.
When I play the songs in the playlist from the new computer in iTunes, they all play just fine. However, when I try to burn a CD with the songs in the playlist, I get this error message (it has no number associated with it): The song "[name of song]" could not be burned because the file cannot be found on the computer hard drive. I tried burning CD's from any other playlist but was not able to burn a CD from ANY playlist; I get the same error message no matter what I try to do. I would really like to be able burn CD's from iTunes, because that's what plays in my car. Hooking up an iPod in the car does play music, but it is faded and of bad quality (my car is an '05 model).
Does anyone have any ideas on what is wrong here and how I can fix it so burning CD's in iTunes will again be an option? I don't burn many CD's but would really like to be able to do so. The version of iTunes I have is 11, all the iTunes files are updated, and the CD drive is working fine, I am able to play CD's in iTunes from it and burn other songs to it using another media player. I am also using top-quality new blank CD's, and when trying to burn a CD from a playlist, I select Audio CD with 2 seconds for the gap between songs, and the album text, then I select Burn. I've tried selecting other options in turn, but get the same error message.
Thank you in advance to anyone who can help with this issue - it seems I am the only one having it.I actually solved this problem myself. I discovered, while playing around with the new iTunes, that clicking on PLAYLISTS on the menu bar shows the playlists that I have created on the left side of the window (like the old iTunes used to do by default). I scrolled down to the playlist I wanted to burn to a CD, right-clicked on it, and a menu came up. I selected DOWNLOAD....this downloads my playlist songs from the cloud to my computer hard drive. After that, the little "cloud pictures" next to my songs disappeared, and I was able to burn the CD with no problems.
I hope this helps someone else....I was quite lost for a while. Which is amazing, considering how user-friendly most Apple products have historically been. -

Unable to delete email from trash bin. How do I do this? If I select and chose delete, it doesn't. What am I doing wrong? My grand daughte is using my iPad and I don't want her to see some of the mail there.
There are two ways that should work. When you are in the trash folder, you can swipe on the email in the list - left to right - and a red Delete button should pop up. Or you can select - Edit - at the top of the list of messages and then select the message and tap delete.
Not sure exactly how this works - but if you have restrictions enabled - especially since you let your grandchild use the device - that may be restricting what you can do in the mail app. Go to Settings>General>Restrictions. If you have it set to on - turn it off or see if you have mail restricted. -
I am trying to transfer my iTunes library to a new computer via external hard drive. When I open iTunes on my new Windows 7 computer, after I have followed the tutorial on the website, I get an additional promt to "scan fror media". All the songs are copying twice. I have uninstalled the program twice and tried again with the same result. What am I doing wrong?
Thank you for your response. I have done this...when I open the iTunes folder copied from my old computer, each song appears only once. When I open iTunes each song appears twice. Should I uninstall the iTunes folder from my old computer and reinstall it? It make no sense that I have 2 of everything in iTunes. I have set up a second iTunes user account on my PC, but when I create the new iTunes account it copies the music, videos etc from the original account and they seem to be linked, so that when I delete a song from one library it deletes from the other one.
On the online tutorials I've seen it shows that when you create a new iTunes library it should open as a blank account, but that isn't happening.
What am I doing wrong?If you have iTunes 11 turn on the Sidebar. Go to iTunes>View and click on Show Sidebar. You can also do a Crtl+S to show the sidebar. The sidebar is where Devices appears. and Control+B to show the Menu bar

Am signed in to Adobe and trying to edit a form. Can pull up form but it will not allow me to edit the form. What am I doing wrong?
To elaborate on what Sukrit posted, it is likely that the form is not an Acrobat forum but a Designer form or was set for distribution and is locked for editing. I suspect it was probably created in Designer and thus can only be completed in Acrobat or Reader since the PDF is really container for and XML structure and does not have the basics of a PDF document. If that is the case, you either need Designer or you can print to a new PDF and use the field recognition feature of Acrobat to recreate the form. Of course, the latter will require some editing to the form fields in most cases.

When trying to burn a cd from my playlist it get to the finalising process and after quite some time ejects the cd with a "error 4000" message.
So here is what I have done to date:
- changed from max to 8x
- control panels, itune, repair
- changed cd
- checked cd text
- unchecked cd text
- updated itunes & quick times
- sat in despair
Any suggestions would be great. I'm not really an expert with technology so have researched and read a myriad of advice but nothing to date has helped. I'm using windows professional 2007.Could you post your diagnostics for us please?

I want to burn a CD from my iTunes purchases but my Bose CD player can not read the files.
I purchased music from the iTunes store and I want to creat a CD to play on my Bose player. I have tried the audio and data selections under "Burn CD" but neither work. Any suggestions?
Can you play either of the CD's in another player? Maybe you need to switch from CD-RW to CD-R discs or another brand of CD for that Bose CD player.

Trying to make a purchase from the iTunes Store - but can't????
The USPS just advised me our zip code is changing as of 7/1 (in fact, the new zip code already works).
I tried to make a purchase last night but the iTunes Store profile with my old zip code threw up a flag. I changed the new zip code back to the old one but that doesn't work anymore either. In the pull-down menu of possible zip codes for my town, the new zip code isn't listed. I'm stuck between a rock and a hard place.
I tried finding a phone number to speak to someone but that doesn't work either. Anyone have any ideas?Reset security questions

You dont really have to tell the iTunes Store to use the credit balance. Here is how purchases are charged in iTunes.
Order of iTunes billing methods
When making purchases, content credits are used first, followed by Gift Certificate, iTunes Card, or Allowance Account credits; your credit card or PayPal account is then charged for any remaining balance.
