CDZHome Error when trying to connect universe from Crystal Reports XI R2
I am getting the below error message when I am trying to connect a universe from Cyrstal Reports.
CDZHome not found on server, IRAPPS437.WebIntelligenceProcessingServer
I am using below versions:
Universe - Business Objects XI 3.0 Enterprise Edition
Crystal Reports - Cyrstal Reports XI R2 SP4.
If you notice the error is related to Web Intelligence when I am not doing anything related to Web Intelligence. So I suspect that Cyrstal Reports XI R2 is not compatible with BO XI 3.1 or Vice Verse.
Any input on this is appreciated.
Cheers,
KannaHello All, I am working on BO version migration. Presently we have BO XI 3.1 in which we have Java process through which we gets connected to BO server and generates an report.
as we need to move to migrate BO version to SAP Business Objects BI Platform 4, we need to accomodate connecting to new BO server. I have upgraded all JAR which has been given by "SAP Business Objects BI Platform 4" installation still i am getting below exceptions and one of them is almost same as this POST so thought od posting my question here rather than opening an new POST.

Connecting tomcat from outside
Hi! Ive searched but couldnt find anything teaching how to setup tomcat to be accessed from
outside.
I only can access it using http://localhost:8080.
But if I give my ip to someone else outside, he cant connect. All the tutorials I found only teach us how to install and access tomcat from localhost.
I am using win XP and I have a cable connection.
Thx!I have installed tomcat-5.5, and i can access to the server over the lan, with default installation.
I think you have to configure the NAT Port Forwarding to redirect the services to the machine where the server is running,
or
firewall configuration. -
Need mbean details for connecting OIM from SOA
Hi All,
we have one requirement where SOA will run an interface whhich contains OIM code. OIM code will update user's end date, send mail to manager and retrun true or false to SOA. I have the code which works fine but now I need to invoke this code from SOA as a wsdl. My question is how SOA will invoke OIM API's? If I rpovide mbean details to SOA then it can run the java code on OIM DB. Please suggest if anybody has worked on this type of requirement.
Thanks,
Kalpana.Use this:

They have given example. It's not WSDL but simply using OIM APIs from SOA Workflow.
They are using Credential Store. Check code of Java Embeded. -

Open Directory access from outside of network / internet
Hello all,
Got a question I'd love to get some help on, I have some users who are outside of my network and I'd like them to connect into the open directory on our leopard server so they can use the Shared iCal calendars, addresses, etc.
So my questions are A) Is it possible to connect in from outside the network and get access to the directory without having to have a seperate user account and use our VPN every time you want to connect? - if not is this the only way to do it (would you have to connect via the Mac VPN and then connect to the directory?)
B) is it possible to do this "seamlessly" so that you don't have to change any settings, login details each time you switch between your local user from outside the network and your directory access. (so basically if you are in iCal if you have internet access it will connect you to the directory, without you doing anything extra?)
Hope that makes sense, I can't seem to find the answers I need in the manuals, if I knew how this was meant to work I could probably have a fair go at figuring out how to actually do it (firewall changes etc)
Thanks in advance for the help

If your OD server is visible from the internet -- i.e., it has a public address -- then you can do this without the VPN. However, it's not advisable to have a server exposed in that fashion.
You would be better off doing this through the VPN:
- Remote user connects to internet at hotel, for example.
- Remote user initiates VPN connection.
- Remote user now has access to iCal server and directory information.
Explain to the users that this information is private to the company, and private company resources are only available through the VPN. Allowing access without the VPN would be similar to the company posting its Employee roster and meeting calendars on the face of the building where any person (or competitor) could see them.

It's just one extra step: Connect to VPN. You're still the same local user on the computer.
If you're talking about laptop users needing directory access to authenticate when logging into their computers, well...That sounds like a whole other situation.
Hopefully this helps.

Webdispatcher error while trying to connect portal
Hi ,
I am facing an issue while trying to connect portal from web dispatcher server.
We have the portal http port as 5XX00 where XX is the instance no for portal .
Our portal is a standalone java system.
Now in between portal and web dispatcher there is a firewall and the required port for portal i.e. 5XX00 is opened in firewall.
To connect message server I have to give 2 parameters.
rdisp/mshost - portal FQDN
ms/http_port - 5XX00
Now I am getting the below error.

SandipHi,
>We have some web dynpro abap applications running in portal connected to ECC and SRM server.
You configured successfully external access to your internal portal using the Web dispatcher but you did not give access to your SRM or ECC systems.
I think that when an abap web dynpro application is displayed in a portal iview, the web browser needs to connect to the abap server. I think that the portal does not act as a kind of reverse proxy.
I say "I think" because I have not yet tested this case.
If I am right you have to configure external access to ECC or SRM using an other web dispatcher (or the same if it is 7.2) and you have to configure the portal to use the web dispatcher enabled URLs for the abap web dynpro applications.
That should be an interesting project !

Outlook clients trying to connect
Current Exchange Server: 8.3.389.2 - 2007 SP3 update roll-up 15
We are seeing an issue with Outlook clients trying to connect anywhere from 1 minute to 20 minutes plus. We have Outlook 2010 and Outlook 2013 in the environment. All clients are up to date with the latest Microsoft Updates.
The issue will happen to multiple users and the same users have no issues connecting to web-mail or email on the phone. Its just the outlook client.
Outlook will just hang and sometimes haven't updated for hours or the previous day.
Office 2010 and Office 2013 are both updated.
I've tried disabling our Anti-Virus, turning the policy off and the issue is still present.
Email will update on phones and web-mail.
We've tried rebuilding profiles, repairing Office and nothing seems to fix the issue.
Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.Hi,
According to your description, I understand that Outlook client sometimes hang or can't auto sync mailbox, however ActiveSync and OWA works fine.
If I misunderstand you concern, please do not hesitate to let know.
I want to double confirm whether all Outlook client experience this question at same time or not, how about restart Outlook client while problem arise.
If so, please open Event log to collect relevant warning or error message for further troubleshooting. Meanwhile, please run ExBPA to test Exchange server.
On the contrary, this may be related to client side. Please try to run Outlook with safe mode to prevent virus and add-ins, or enable Cache mode.
Besides, uncheck “Download Shared Folder” for testing.

KalyanI solved the above error by removing oscache***.jar file and keeping only oscache.jar in lib directory.
However I am getting some other error this time. Let me know if you have any suggestions:

Trying to access my 851w from outside my lan, but can access inside fine
Hi,
I purchased a 851w to use as my home router and to learn more about the cisco IOS. I have been spending some time studying for CCENT/CCNA and so far I have enjoyed learning as I go. However, I am having problems accessing this router from a remote location via ssh. I can access it just fine from my lan, but not outside it from another location. Currently, I am not using this router for internet access or anything else other than learning about the IOS, and it is connected to a basic dlink wireless router dir-615. I have port forwarding setup on the dlink that any traffic coming in on port 22 is directed to the 851w at 192.168.0.150. I also have the 851w connected with a crossover cable to a switch that is connected to the dlink router.
Like I said, I can connect just fine from my lan, but can't connect from outside. I have tried a few different things but nothing works. I also use Teraterm to connect, but have tried Putty too. I also use ddns to access it, but I have also tried the wan ip address of the dlink with no luck.
Could someone please take a look at my very basic running config and explain what I might need to do different?
Thanks in advance.
SeanHi and thanks a bunch for your quick response.
No, I can't ping anything other than my main router which I have setup as the gateway so why is that? For example,
ip default-gateway 192.168.0.1
Wouldn't it automatically send anything it doesn't know about to the 192.168.0.0/24 router?
I have one of the switch ports, Fast Ethernet 0, connected to another switch connected to the dlink router. I have tried different ports but it didn't change anything. I don't have anything connected to the wan port of the 851w. I was trying to simulate remote access of a switch on an internal network. My next step would be to make the 851w my default router and then try to access it from the outside, but I wanted to succeed this way first.
optimus#show ip int br

Yes, my internal pc is on the 192.168.0.0/24 subnet.

SSH and media wiki not connecting from outside of my LAN
I cant seem to connect to ssh or my mediawiki server from outside of my LAN. Ive forwarded all the needed ports and been going over my config all night. I also made sure my router wasn't blocking anything.
-ssh tells me connection denied
-when i go to my http server i can list directorys but as soon as i try to load media wiki i get a 502 error

Hello ahronzombi!
Do you try it with apache web server ? If yes, is there any related information in the apache.log when someone try to connect from out. What's in your http server related config files, vhosts, etc?
Ill try that today. i tried something similar with sshd and looked at the verbose output of the program when trying to connect remotely. it was never touched, like no one tried to connect. i feel like its a network security issue since i can connect locally. but ill check these logs as well
