What happens if you start up PS CC 2014, first, and then try the Edit In?

When I boot up I get a complete white screen and can't access any thing including task bar. When I right click and hit properties it says it is a Firefox docum

I downloaded a video in a zip file, when it started the whole window went white. When I right click on the screen under properties it tells me it is a Firefox document. I rebooted to fix the problem and I saw a brief view of my wallpaper and desktop icons then back to the white screen. When I boot up or log in to the admin account (guest account is fine) I get a pure white screen. I cannot access any thing including the task bar. The only way out is to reboot and the problem repeats. I have booted with my anti virus program and it finds no problems. When I exit the anti virus program there is the brief view of the desktop and back to the white screen. HELP, I don't want to lose everything because I have to reload the OS.

Make sure that you do not run Firefox in full screen mode (press F11 or Fn + F11 to toggle; Mac: Command+Shift+F).

If you are in full screen mode then hover the mouse to the top of the screen to make the Navigation Toolbar and Tab bar appear. 
Click the Maximize button (top right corner of the Navigation Toolbar) to leave full screen mode or right-click empty space on a toolbar and choose "Exit Full Screen Mode" or press the F11 key.

I can no longer access the library to back up my bookmarks. Why did you change it from Firefox 3 where you could clock on the bookmarks tab and be able to backup your bookmarks?

Actually the Bookmarks Menu button doesn't appear because you have the Menu Bar visible in your first screenshot. The Bookmarks Menu button should appear to the right of the overflow chevron on the Bookmarks Toolbar if the Menu Bar is hidden.

Applications close when I right click and after I type a word.

When I right click links in Safari / Chrome - the program instantly quits with an error report.
When I open text editor and type a word then press the space bar - the program instantly quits with an error report.
When I type in to the error report and press the space bar - the program instantly quits with an arror report.
I think the problem is caused every time the spell checker is invoked. How can I stop this from happening?

I am trying to create a panorama. When I enter FILE > NEW > the Photomere panorama option does not appear. the only options are Blank file and file from clipboard. This is in Elements 11 on Windows 8.1 OS. How do I get Photomerge Panorama to appear.

Since PSE11, you access the photomerge option in the 'Enhance' menu, last option. Or you can use the organizer (menu Edit / Photomerge).

When I right click and "Search Google for ____" the resulting google search comes up in a new tab AND the current tab

Right click google search used to open only in a new tab. Now it opens in a new tab and after a moment, the current tab also.
Any ideas?

When I right click and select open link in new tab, it leaves the page I am on and takes me to the first tab to the right

I usually have many tabs open when I read the news, and it is nice to select open links in new tabs while scrolling through a news' home page. Lately, however, Mozilla has been opening the new tab, but switches the page I am viewing to the first tab to the right of the home page. For example, I had ESPN.com open, and then a few Facebook tabs after that to the right. Whenever I would select open link in new tab, the tab I was viewing would switch from ESPN.com to the first Facebook tab to the right, and the new tab would open a little further down the line. Any chance anyone knows how to fix this?

Why won't my tabs close once I click the red X, or when I right-click and select Close Tab?

Today I ran across an issue on my work computer where the tabs would not close. Normally, I would just close the browser and hope it fixes itself, but on my work computer I run a program in the browser that i should not close. Or, at least, it would be a huge hassle to start it all over again. Any suggestions or insights in to how I can resolve this would be greatly appreciated.

When I right click and go to the edit it in box my CS4 is still in there.

How do I get rid of the small CS4, which is no longer in my pc computer, and replace it with CS6, so it goes to CS6. It's small script and not replacable on that page.
Also, and this may have something to do with it, when I open two or more photos in lightroom 4 and want to transfer them to CS6 layers, that area, and the few above it stay grayed out and wont work. So I'm having a time getting 2 seperate photos into layers.

And then if something still doesn't work, try the Reset Warning Dialogs button in the LR preferences dialog.
If that still doesn't do the trick, you'll need to explain a little more about "that area ... stay grayed out"

How do I manage the menu that comes up when I right-click and select "Edit In" ?

Right now I have 17 programs/apps/plugins that appear in that menu. I am going to have reinstall an earlier version of a program that I use a lot (OnOne) and that's going to add another half a dozen items to the list. I only need one or two of the apps in that suite. And then I may add another suite, the Topaz apps, and that will further add to the confusion.
All of these 3rd party applications are connected to Lightroom via Plugins, but a lot of them do not appear in the listings in the plugin manager.
Is there any way to manage that menu from within Lightroom?
