Deauthorize Audible Account... always appears as a menu selection, even if you deauthorized Audible or never even had an account.
Audible is a different account from iTunes and does not require the same username / password.

Fonts displaying at same size when they should be different sizes
I recently reinstalled Firefox after finding that Chrome was slowing down too much. I was interested mostly in having access to the LJlogin addon again, as I spend a lot of time on LJ with several different accounts. When I'd last had Firefox on my computer, I had it set to display all fonts as Times New Roman, but on reinstall I decided to let things go back to defaults on various sites (I believe LJ uses Verdana). But now, with the box checked for "allow pages to choose their own fonts", it's showing all the entry/comment text on LJ as the same size. Things that I know to be enclosed in a smallfont tag are the same size as unaltered text. It makes things rather confusing, so I'd appreciate any help with it.

Having checked 6 at random it seems that they are all roughly the same ie around 227 x 160-189 pixels, all 72dpi and all 8cms x6cm (give or take a mm here and there) yet some print 2/3rds the size of A4 and others approx 6cms long. There was one that 295 x 400 at 150dpi 5cm x 7cm and that printed only a quater of the image because it was so huge.
If it is that the pixel size or dpi overides the physical (cm ) size of the image how on earth can one determine what size they print off in real life. Also I see that if you simply chnage the dpi vale the image becomes distorted. Please excuse my ignorance but I just don't understand how the sizing works. -
I am trying to log onto a Mac Mini I haven't used in awhile and I forgot the password. I am trying to reset the password with my apple ID but the computer keeps saying the Apple ID and the password are incorrect whenever I know they are, as I am using the exact same ID right now.
I have switched my password in the past, so my theory is my mac mini thinks that my password has not changed and it will not update because The Wi-Fi password has also changed so it cannot connect to any servers...Does that sound like I am on the right track?
Is there a way to update my Wi-Fi password (saved into the computer) without logging on?If the user account is associated with an Apple ID, and you know the Apple ID password, then maybe the Apple ID can be used to reset your user account password.
Otherwise, boot into Recovery by holding down the key combination command-R at startup. Release the keys when you see a gray screen with a spinning dial.
When the OS X Utilities screen appears, select
Utilities ▹ Terminal
from the menu bar.
In the Terminal window, type this:
resetpassword
That's one word with no spaces. Then press return. A Reset Password window opens.
Select your boot volume if not already selected.
Select your username from the menu labeled Select the user account if not already selected.
Follow the prompts to reset the password. It's safest to choose a password that includes only the characters a-z, A-Z, and 0-9.
Select
▹ Restart
from the menu bar.
You should now be able to log in with the new password, but your Keychain will be reset (empty.) If you've forgotten the Keychain password (which is ordinarily the same as your login password), there's no way to recover it. -
Suddenly on both my iPhone and iPad I cannot access my AOL mail. It tells me my user name or password are incorrect. Yet I have no trouble accessing from other devices. This occurred randomly in the middle of the night. I'd done nothing different or unusual. I've tried re-starting both devices, tried deleting and re-installing my account information. Hmm... looks like this is an issue for that email provider for some reason.
A user in a bt.com forums recommends turning off Push Emails settings.

Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars > Fetch New Data > Turn Push Off.
Coudln't hurt to try it and see if the issue resolves itself. -

Check capitalization. The password is certainly case-senstive, and your username/email address might be as well. In the case of the password, you must get it exactly right. In the case of the username/email address, you can usually enter it as all lower case. Also, try your username with the @gmail.com suffix; your username might not be accepted without it.

I just restored my computer to the beginning and I did backup my files but when i tried to restore them i wouldn't work, then I tried to do it manually and the was an error. I really want my itunes files that I downloaded back can i redownload them?
If you are in the US then yes, you should be able to re-download them, as long as they are still in the store and you use the same iTunes account as your originally used to buy them : re-downloading
If you are not in the US then they cannot currently be re-downloaded. Have you not got a different backup of your purchases that you could try copying them back from ? -

Try calling Tech Support, they should be able to check to see if theres a lock and try to help you reset it, I had to call and get my account unflagged, for something that I didn't even do.

Because ratings don't travel with the files or the playlist.
These are two possible approaches that will normally work to move an existing library to a new computer.
Method 1
Backup the library with this User Tip.
Deauthorize the old computer if you no longer want to access protected content on it.
Restore the backup to your new computer using the same tool used to back it up.
Keep your backup up-to-date in future.
Method 2
Connect the two computers to the same network. Share your <User's Music> folder from the old computer and copy the entire iTunes library folder into the <User's Music> folder on the new one. Again, deauthorize the old computer if no longer required.
Both methods should give the new computer a working clone of the library that was on the old one. As far as iTunes is concerned this is still the "home" library for your devices so you shouldn't have any issues with iTunes wanting to erase and reload.
I'd recommend method 1 since it establishes an ongoing backup for your library.
If you have an iOS device that syncs with contact & calendar data on your computer you should migrate this information too. If that isn't possible create a dummy entry of each type in your new profile and iTunes should offer to merge the existing data from the device into the computer, otherwise the danger is that it will wipe the information from the device.
If your media folder has been split out from the main iTunes folder you may need to do some preparatory work to make it easier to move. See make a split library portable.
Should you be in the unfortunate position where you are no longer able to access your original library, or a backup of it, then see Recover your iTunes library from your iPod or iOS device for advice on how to set up your devices with a new library with the maximum preservation of data. If you don't have any Apple devices then see HT2519 - Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store.

My iPhone V will not connect to a Microsoft Exchange server. It says that the User Name or Password are incorrect even though they're not and I can log on directly to Exchange with the same parameters using the web browser.
I bought the phone when it came out last October. The connection did not work at first, then started without warning in December. It worked perfectly for 2 months then stopped again when IOS 6.1.2 was Installed.
Help please!I have forwarded these questions about the version of Exchange server that is being used and whether Microsoft host the mai themselves to the IT Dept but I will not get a reply from them until tomorrow.
In the meantime I have also tried:
Deleting and re-creating the account AGAIN!
And re-setting the phone (recommended as a solution to a similar problem with an iPad in another forum.
But please remember that:
The phone would not connect for 2 months after I bought it
Then started working unexpectedly in December
Then stopped working again when IOS 6.1.2. was installed
Also why am I the only person affected by this when colleagues with iPhone 3s and 4s who use the same mail system are not (I am still trying to find one with an iPhone V to see if their's works).
Like I said I think that there must be a fault, either with my own phone or with iPhone Vs in general. -

i set up my new computer using the apple ID i always use, and then later migrated all my files from my old mac book to the same new one, but under a different user (same apple ID). how do i consolidate the two users on my new mac book?
Well if you use the Finder Go menu to Computer, a window opens up double click on your boot drive and then on Users folder, open the other user folder and open Public and drop your files into DropBox
When you do this it will copy them and change the permissions and user assigned to it, so log into the other user and place them into your respective normal folders.
Once you have all your files over and don't need the old user, use System Preferences > Accounts to delete it if you wish, however it's good two Admin accounts on the machine in case something bad happens in the other. Some people for security reasons on use a Standard account for most uses and a emergency Admin account.
One can still do most Admin things in Standard user. -

I got my cousin's old I-Pod as a gift, but when I hook up the I-Pod to my computer using the USB so I can put music on it, it doesn't register as being plugged in. What should I do? I also cannot figure out how to change who's I-Pod it is. Can anyone help me out?
- I would try resetting the iPod:
Press and hold the On/Off Sleep/Wake button and the Home
button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
and then try restoring it. This probably will not work but is worth a try.
- Next I would disconnect the iPod from the computer and let the battery fully drain. When drained, charge it for at least an hour then:
-- Try resetting it as above and see if iTunes will see the iPod. If it does, then restore the iPod.
-- If not in iTunes try placing the iPod in recovery mode to see if that make the iPod visible in iTunes. If it does then restore via iTunes
-- Last, place in DFU mode to see if that makes the iPod visible. If it does then restore via iTunes. -
