Whenever I connect my iphone 3GS to my PC through a USB. My itunes software comes up automatically.
1. After that a message appears from the itunes that states that 'itunes could not connect to the itunes store, an unknown error cccured (306).
2. After the above, an alert message comes up which states that A new iphone software version 5.1 is availlable for my iphone. It then states would you like to download it and update your iphone now? With the options buttons as Cancel or Download and Update or Download Only. Whenever I clicked on Download and Update or Download Only, the next message that comes up is that The iphone Software Update Server Could not be Contacted and suggest make sure your network setting are correct and active or try again later.

Set up iMovie Theater and iCloud
In order to take full advantage of the capabilities of iMovie Theater, you must be signed in to iCloud. If you are signed in to iCloud, movies and trailers shared to iMovie Theater are automatically uploaded to iCloud. You can also turn off automatic uploading, and upload just the movies and trailers you want, or delete individual movies and trailers from iCloud. If you sign out of your iCloud account on your Mac, all iCloud movies disappear from the Theater, but they are not deleted; the movies reappear when you sign in again. If you ever run out of space in iCloud, an alert icon appears in the top-right corner of your movie, indicating that you can’t upload new movies. For more information, click the icon. After you upgrade your iCloud storage or clear space, your movies automatically appear in iCloud again.

Set up automatic iCloud uploading
Choose Apple menu > System Preferences, and click iCloud.
Make sure you’re signed in, and then select the Documents & Data checkbox.
Click the Options button next to Documents & Data.
Make sure the iMovie checkbox is selected.
In iMovie, choose iMovie > Preferences.
Select the “Automatically upload content to iCloud” checkbox.
To turn off automatic uploading, deselect the checkbox. -
Does anyone know why my photos have all gone out of my I phots and when I try to open any I have found it wont even show/open them, or return them to my I photo album???
I was uploading them off my camera's memory stick one worked perfect the next went barmy and deleted all my photos, it said there had been an error but ther was nothing I could do to save them. How do I retrieve them and how do I make my I photo work again?? Please I have lost over a thousand photos of my brothers wedding.What version of iPhoto?

I am using a HP laptop with windows 8. I have installed the most up to date version of itunes.

Yes Im a lot of a novice so be patient with me lol I am trying to put a 2006 Edition of a weight programme on my laptop, but when I down load it it just comes up in weird script and says cannot operate in Dos mode can anyone help.

Sounds like you have a program designed to run on Microsoft Windows, or even older (1980's) MS-DOS, rather than Mac OS X. If you have Windows on your Mac installed via Boot Camp, try booting into Windows first, and then loading the CD. If you don't have Windows, it's probably cheaper to buy a new program designed for Mac than to purchase a copy of Windows (US$120 or more), not even knowing for certain if your old program will run. -
I've tried to register as a homeschooling family with iTunes U. (The registration options weren't geared to allow me to say as much.) My application was denied. Can anyone help me sort this out?

Recently, I can't get any sound from my game applications. Sound works fine with video, streaming, etc, but not my game applications. I've tried powering down and re-booting, but the sound does not return. Can anyone help me?
Have you got notifications muted ? Only notifications (including games) get muted, so the Music and Videos apps, and headphones, still get sound.
Depending on what you've got Settings > General > Use Side Switch To set to (mute or rotation lock), then you can mute notifications by the switch on the right hand side of the iPad above the volume switch, or via control centre : swipe up from the bottom edge of the screen and it's the right-most of the 5 icons in the middle of it (if the icon is white then it's 'on', tap it to turn it grey and 'off'). I am trying to connect to my uni wifi, and when i click on the wifi, it directs me to a log in page. However, the two boxes to enter the username and password do not appear. Can anyone help me with this???
You didn't say what you have already tried, but if you haven't already done so, power-cycle your router (unplug it for 15 seconds then plug it back in), then on your phone go to Settings>General>Reset and tap Reset Network Settings, then try joining your wifi again.
