I have an iPad 3 wifi model. I am trying to place magazines from the book store on the bookshelf app but continue to get the message " an error has occurred". HELP! Thanks
You can not load magazines to the bookshelf. Some magazines go there automatically and can not be placed elsewhere. Other magazines do not go there and can not be moved there. It all depends on the relationship between the publisher and Apple.

This is an old thread, so you have probably given up, but the problem is relatively easily solved. The issue is apparently bad or corrup, or missing fonts.
You can try to chase that down, but it is faster to simply try deleting half the document and exporting again. If that works, restore the deltion and delete half of that section. Keep doing this systematically until you have located the part of the document causing the problem. Often it is something pasted in from another document.
You can then export most of the document and then copy and paste the remaining bits over into Word.
This works with Keynote, too, where often the issue is just one slide.

If this is an iCloud account the Outbox only appears when sending an email, so if it is still trying I suppose it should be showing now (not sure though, hard to replicate this)

just bought a brand new ipod nano and downloaded an audiobook borrowed from the local library. The book is there and playing but, I cannot hear anything. What am I doing wrong?
Does the same file play normally in iTunes? Do other audiobooks play normally on the iPod?
How does "borrowing" work? Does it require use of another app, other than iTunes, to get it on the iPod? -

You'll want to fix this via the online system you used to create the PDF.
If all content mastering and page configuration is done online then that is where you must make a correction to what you did before.
If a file is uploaded to the online system for processing then you must revisit that file.
Open the file with its native application and correct page size there.
If you upload a scanned image to the online system you must configure the scanner software to output the needed page size.

I Put my iPod in my locker before lucnh and it was off, i went to go and turn it back on for math class and it wouldn't...... i plugged it into my computer and it says iPod is in recovery mode...... and it sujested that i update, and restore so i though okay.... it did the update but everything the restored comes it starts and stops and says "The iPod could not be restored. an unknown error occured (28). why does this keep happening?? please tell me i don't know what to do.......
Error 23, 28, 29: These errors may indicate a hardware issue with your device. Follow the steps in this article. Also attempt to restore while connected with the white USB Dock Connector cable that shipped with your device, on a known good computer and network to isolate this issue to the device. The MAC address being missing or the IMEI being the default value, (00 499901 064000 0), can also confirm a hardware issue. iphone was flashing apple logo then got it into recovery mode then restore so had to download 7.0.4 and that was successful but got error (21) when restoring it to phone and screen on phone flashed while doing this the went back to recovery mode but this time laptop could not detect the iphone this time when i tried it again it did the same thing constantly PLZ HELP ME!

Download the Windows Installer CleanUp utility from the following page (use one of the links under the "DOWNLOAD LOCATIONS" thingy on the Major Geeks page):

To install the utility, doubleclick the msicuu2.exe file you downloaded.
Now run the utility ("Start > All Programs > Windows Install Clean Up"). In the list of programs that appears in CleanUp, select any iTunes entries and click "Remove", as per the following screenshot:
Quit out of CleanUp, restart the PC and try another iTunes install. Does it go through properly this time? -
i have itouch 64gb, i have itunes 10 loaded -trying to upgrade to Ios5 - at the end of the long dowload is says- chack network connection-= network times out- yet network is on as is Ipod- whats up?
I'm not certain thats the problem. I stopped antivirus, I set screensaver to NOT trigger and yet it took me FOUR DAYS to completely sync my ipod touch. Stupid me decided to try it with the iPad and guess what...it's been three days and STILL timing out.
I don't think Steve Jobs died; I think they upgraded him to iOS5, he crashed and they could not restore him.
THIS UPGRADE *****. They rushed it out the door to get the fancy-dancy voice command thing on the iphones and yet that feature does not help ipod or ipad users. -

The javascript functions are working correctly, but still get scripting error messages

Symptom
A DART extraction job terminates with runtime error TYPELOAD_NEW_VERSION and error message:
Data type "TXW_INDEX" was found in a newer version than required.
The termination occurs in the ABAP/4 program "SAPLTXW2 " in "TXW_SEGMENT_RECORD_EXPORT".

Cause and prerequisites
This problem seems to happen when several DART extraction jobs are running in parallel, and both jobs access table TXW_INDEX.
Solution
If possible, avoid running DART extractions in parallel.
If you do plan to run such jobs in parallel, please consider the following points:
In the DART Extract configuration, increase the value of the parameter "Maximum memory allocation for index (MB)" if possible. You can estimate reasonable values with the "File size worksheet" utility.
Run parallel DART jobs on different application servers.
As an alternative, please apply note 400195.
