I bought a new Macbook Pro with Retina (13") a few months back and all of a sudden saw my opened programs got paused with a message that I should free space in my start up disk. Any help?

My opened programs got paused and I got a message to free up space in my start up disk. It asked me to quit some apps. I checked and found that I did not heve lot of apps opened. How do I troubleshoot this?

How much free space do you have on the flash storage device? Go under the Apple menu to "About This Mac..." then "More Info..." and look at the storage tab. Post a screenshot of you Storage tab in a reply here (http://support.apple.com/kb/PH4391).

You cannot download the same Apps that you have on your iPhone. They are two seperate stores.
The store you have on your iPhone is the same for any iDevice (iPad, iPhone and iPod)
The store on your MacBook is only for Macs.

Welcome to Apple Support Communities
You can try formatting the external drive on your eMac using Disk Utility and choosing a well-known format > http://pondini.org/OSX/DU1.html. It's quite possible that your new iMac would be able to read it, but first, tell us which formats Disk Utility lists.
If you have those songs in iTunes, simply go to Music folder and copy the iTunes folder to the external drive. Then, connect it to the iMac and copy the iTunes folder to Music folder.
If they are not in iTunes, copy your songs to the external drive. Then, connect it to your new iMac, open iTunes and drag the songs into it

Can't download Mavericks on brand new Macbook Pro 13 Retina

I've got a brand new Macbook Pro 13 Retina, late 2013. So I meet all needed spec's.
Then trying to donload using AppStore I get the message:
We could not complete your purchase
OS X Mavericks cannot be installed on this computer.
Anyone?

The latest version on the App Store for 10.9 Mavericks is build 13A603.
I believe that the new rMBPs have their own special build number of 13A2093.
Opening About this Mac from the Apple menu and clicking on the Version 10.9, will reveal you current build number.
So the version that you have installed is newer than the current version that is avaliable to download from the App Store. That is why you will be getting the error mesage, as you cannot install a build that is older than the computer came with.
Once 10.9.1 is released, it will have a build number beginning with 13B. You will be able to download this version to your rMBP from the Purchases tab if you wish and make into the USB installer as it will bring you in line with the standard release that everyone else has.
Until then, you will only be able to use the Internet Recovery method.

There are many people suffering from this problem right now (including me). It appears to be a server issue. Just wait and try checking for updates again tomorrow.
Some things I have heard indicate that this may be a regional problem, though what parts of the world are affected I don't know yet. A few people have been helped by deleting the following preference file (paste the path into the Go -> Go to Folder window in the Finder to locate it), though most have not:
~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.SoftwareUpdate.plist
Note that if you are trying to download iTunes 10.7, that can be found here:

Also, note that there is no reason to be anxious to get it, as the only thing added in iTunes 10.7 is compatibility with iOS 6, which will not be available until the 19th, and the new iPhone, which will not be available until later as well. The new iTunes that was announced is iTunes 11, which is also not yet available.

Configure New TM on a New Macbook pro with retina display Issue

I have bought a new New Macbook pro with retina display laptop (Lion moutain OS)and a new TM (2TB).
I have an internet router with wireless connect.
I plugged TM to the router with an ethernet cable.
Connect my TM to my macbook with an ethernet cable.(at this point I still cannot see TM on my Mac)
then I choose Time capsule from WiFi as shown below:
Then the airport utility (version 6.1) opened and start configuring TM but it gives an expected error when it is starting to join the TM!!!!
I have reset the TM several time but with no hope.
PS: I can configure the same TM on a normal laptop with windows 7 installed and Airport utility 5.6
I am struggling on this issue for weeks and I cannot yous TM on my macbook pro.

Time Capsule .. TC is the hardware box you bought.. Time Machine is the software you use in the Mac computer.. so what you generally refer to as TM is really TC.. !!

That is great.. you do not need to setup the Time Capsule at all then. It is already setup.. forget using 6.1 utility.. it is useless toy version.
Just use it.. open Time Machine and see if you can connect to the TC drive to do backup.. and to the wireless.

You are trying to connect with both wireless and ethernet at once.. This can mess things up. choose wireless or ethernet.. not both.
If you keep running into issues.. reset the TC.. I know yet again.
Set it up using SMB names.. for both the TC itself and wireless.
Then lock the wireless channel for 2.4ghz.. use channel 1, 6, or 11 (13 in europe) and see how it goes.
