I preorder the album Midnight Memories and today it was suppose to download the song Story of my life but it wasn't downloaded and it is already charged

It is a long-standing intermittent display bug in iTunes, that has been reported on both the Windows and Mac versions for several years.
When it occurs, the tracks really are in your library, but do not display in Music view. Usually they do show up in Recently Added and/or Purchased. And of course, the files really are in the folders where they are supposed to be. Does that match what you are seeing?
Home remedies that people have reported can fix it are to restart your machine, or to download a song from the Store (e.g. a free single).

I removed my battery in an attempt to insert a SIM card, obviously without knowing how to insert the SIM card. I put the battery back into place and it was already charged 100%, but it's stuck in recovery mode. I've already restored it, but it won't boot.

I was trying to insert a SIM card into my iPhone 4 without actually knowing how to do so. I assumed that I was to remove the back of the phone and find a slot for it near the battery. I removed the battery in an attempt to find a SIM slot, and was obviously unsuccessful. I put the battery back into place and screwed the phone back plate back on. Note: the battery was fully charged and the iPhone was working perfectly fine before. After screwing the iPhone back into place properly, I thought, I attempted to cut the phone on and it would not do so. I put it back on the charger, and the screen came up that says "Connect to iTunes". I obviously couldn't do so if its plugged into the wall. I plugged into the computer, connected it to iTunes, went through the Recovery mode process, and it still won't turn on. The computer says that the iPhone is in Recovery mode, but iTunes can't do anything because it has already been restored. When I disconnect it from the computer, I hold all buttons in all possible combinations, but it won't turn on at all. When I plug it into the wall, it again says to connect to iTunes. I don't know if I damaged the battery or any part within the iPhone, but I was sensitive in my approach to removing the battery and putting it back in, and there is no visible damage whatsoever. I am extremely frustrated and in desperate need of Apple-Pro help.

do you have a cdma iphone 4? becauase cdma iphones dont have a sim card slot... the providers that use cdma technology here in the us would be verizion, sprint, criket, ect... if you want to use your iphone 4 on att or tmobile (gsm carriers). then you would need a gsm iphone 4 (has sim card slot). a gsm iphone 4 is different than a cdma iphone 4 (they have different radio chips). maby you missed the sim card slot? sim card slot would be on the side of the phone.. never inside (unless it has a removable back cover like the galaxy s3 or s4), if you dont see a sim card slot on the side of the phone than you have a cmda iphone 4. can you tell me what carrier you are trying to use?

You must contact with iTunes support, but you can redownload your songs in iTunes Store > Purchased

Your phone already has a micro SIM card in the device so it can connect to the VZW network. You will need an international plan from VZW if you intend to use that SIM card. Otherwise you can get a new SIM card from the local carrier and setup the phone for global use with a separate APN with that carrier's specific information.

Try clicking iTunes, Store, Check for Available Downloads.
If its not there don't worry, iCloud will let you redownload the song. Just click the Purchased link on the right side of the iTunes Store, Music, click All Songs, then the iCloud download icon to redownload the song.
And, if its not showing up in Available Downloads or Purchases, the purchase didn't go through (at least not with that iTunes account).

hi i had the same problem today when i updated my itunes to latest version. however, i have just found my songs in the 'itunes media' folder. this was accessed through 'my music' then keep clicking through until you find itunes media and all my library songs were in there and i then just added these files to my library and all were restored however, i have lost all my playlists but at least my 700 songs are back. very dissapointed with apple that they have let this happen with their latest update, the previous version was miles better than this one . hope you find them. stevo

I bought, installed, erased, reinstalled again but I still can not see the photos. They seem to be existing in "open-in" folder. When I tap, it goes back to "Home" screen.

I'm sure you already have, but ensure these songs are not autosyncing by playlist or other options. Many the Purchased playlist. Then find the song in the device's Music/Artist, Album, or Song section, swipe sideways to make the "Delete" button appear. This does not work from playlists. If the song syncs back from iTunes check your sync settings.
Also check in the device's sync settings in iTunes for an entry at the bottom of the Music tab for "Manually Added Songs" where the tracks may also show up for deletion. This is a new feature I just found and I'm not familiar with how it works yet.

Thank you so much for providing the details about the duplicate song issue you are experiencing. It sounds like you would like to remove the duplicate songs that will not play on your iPhone, but when you connect it to iTunes, iTunes only shows you one copy of the song on your iPhone.
In this situation, I recommend deleting the individual songs that do not play directly from your iPhone. I found the steps to do this on page 61 of the iPhone User Guide (http://manuals.info.apple.com/en_US/iphone_user_guide.pdf):
Delete a song from iPhone: In Songs, swipe the song, then tap Delete.

Hi chrissyfromrenton,
you just have to close completely you Ipod (push 5-10 seconds on the button to open/close you ipod and slide the turn off) after open the ipod and it suppose to be correct I hope I answer to your question!
