I bought a unlocked canadian iphone 4s, i am going to me living in the usa can i use my unlocked iphone 4s with sprint?
i am wondering if i can use my unlocked canadian iphone 4s in the states with sprint? can the cdma be unlocked so that any company that uses cdma can support it? or is the gsm the only one that can be unlocked and used with differnt carriers that support gsm?
The ONLY way this could happen would be if the OP returned the phone within the first 30 days of purchase in the original country of purchase, then bought a new one in the US on the Sprint network.

The iPhone warranty is not international. If something goes wrong with it you will have to have somebody in the USA take it to a store in the USA for service (or pay for it yourself at home).

Good day, I tried to call EE a couple of times but did not pass. I was wondering if you can help me. I live in The Netherlands. I bought a refurbished Samsung galaxy S4 on Groupon. so far, no problem... I received the phone in good condition and was very amused and cannot wait to configure it. When I set up al the setting (language etc) the phone asked me for a sim network unlock pin. Like I said, I've bought the phone on groupon and they telled us that the phone must be free for every simcard. Can you PLEASE give me a unlock code so I can use my new phone with my own dutch sim card? Thanks a lot!

yes you can if there are GSM carriers in Mongolia. If your phone breaks, you will need to send it to somone you know in the US to bring it to Apple for repair.

Yes, but you will be using it in China with the international roaming feature.
There are no unlocked iPhone 5's being sold in the US at present so you can't use it with a local nano sim card. There will also be LTE frequency compatibility issues too. -

I would doubt it, but there's nobody here who can speak on behalf of Apple. Phone the Japanese store: they will know far better than us fellow users.

I did buy it from someone in Jordan. So they might have got it from KSA, or UAE, or it even might be the same rules in Jordan. I don't think the imessage works even, every time someone sends me a message from their ipad it says "Not delivered". Maybe I am wrong?

Your question has been answered. Jailbreaking cannot be discussed here. If you buy a phone locked to a carrier, it would be down to them to unlock it, and that's very unlikely if you've only just got the phone. Locked phones are "cheap" for a reason - you're signing up for a contract and that subsidises the cost of the phone.

It is the same version. So the iWork package will work on both, but Siri will only work on the iPhone 4S. So you could dictate on that, and use iCloud to finish the document on your iPad (assuming you have both). Cheers

Last June, I bought an Iphone in France with Bouygues operator. As I have to leave for Thailand, I ask them to unlock my Iphone, I had to paid 70 euros for it. They asked me to wait about 1 week.
