I bought an ipad  and i,am tryiing to synchronise mij iphone 3g vers. 4.2.1  Is this possible ? is updating of my 3g phone possible

My iphoneversion is 4.2.1. I would like to synchronise with ipad 4. Exists a higher version of the iphone 3g?

The highest version of iOS for the iPhone 3G is 4.2.1. You would not be able to use a backup from a newer iOS on an older iOS device. Also, the iPhone 3G does not support iCloud, so there is no way to sync from there either. Sorry. The closest way you could accomplish what you are looking for is to make sure everything from the 3G is synced to the computer and then sync the 2 devices to the same computer.
