I can no longer open an image from the organizer to the editor.

In early Dec I had a hard drive crash and had to reinstall PSE11. Everything was working fine until a couple of weeks ago. Now I cannot select an image and click on the editor button and edit the image. The editor will open but the image is not there. I've also tried to right click on the image to Edit with Photoshp Elements and Ctrl-I and the edit menu to open.
Its a real pain to have to have to go to the editor and load the image since my images are located on various hard drives on my system I have to navigate to the drive, folder, subfolder to located the image.
Is there anyway to solve this problem? Do I perhaps need to reinsall Elements?
I'm using Windows 7 (64 bit) with lastest updates

winmail.dat files usually mean the email has been sent in rich text format - you could either the person who sent it to send it in a different format e.g. plain text or HTML, or there are a few apps in the store that support it (search for winmail.date in the store).

Try this - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.) No data/files will be erased.

To configure the browser to use Acrobat or Adobe Reader to open PDF files:
1. Quit Internet Explorer(any other browser)
2. Start Acrobat or Adobe Reader.
3. Choose Edit > Preferences.
4. Select Internet in the list on the left.
5. Deselect(Uncheck) Display PDF in Browser, and click OK.
6. Restart Internet Explorer

Quit Mail and restart.
Select each of your mailboxes and select Rebuild under the Mailboxes menu.
If those don't help, then reinstall Yosemite:
Reinstall Lion, Mountain Lion, Mavericks or Yosemite without erasing drive
Boot to the Recovery HD:
Restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the COMMAND and R keys until the menu screen appears. Alternatively, restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the OPTION key until the boot manager screen appears. Select the Recovery HD and click on the downward pointing arrow button.
Repair
When the recovery menu appears select Disk Utility. After DU loads select your hard drive entry (mfgr.'s ID and drive size) from the the left side list. In the DU status area you will see an entry for the S.M.A.R.T. status of the hard drive. If it does not say "Verified" then the hard drive is failing or failed. (SMART status is not reported on external Firewire or USB drives.) If the drive is "Verified" then select your OS X volume from the list on the left (sub-entry below the drive entry,) click on the First Aid tab, then click on the Repair Disk button. If DU reports any errors that have been fixed, then re-run Repair Disk until no errors are reported. If no errors are reported then click on the Repair Permissions button. When the process is completed, then quit DU and return to the main menu.

I have just updated to Firefox v 6.0.2 and can no-longer open web links from Windows Live Mail 2011 (Bld 15.4.3538).

Firefox 3.6.4 and 3.6.6 use a process called, "plugin-container.exe" which was using up most of my CPU when I opened up multiple tabs that contained Adobe Flash files, and caused Firefox to lock up.
My solution was to use Firefox 3.5.10 which you can get from the Mozilla website at [http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all-older.html]
I am using Adobe Flash 10.1.53.64 without any problem in this version of Firefox. Check the release notes, I believe it contains all the latest security fixes in "Firefox 3.6.4".
Hopefully, they will fix Firefox 3.6 in the next version (e.g. Firefox 3.6.7), until then you should probably use "Firefox 3.5.10".

Can no longer open .doc attachments from email

I can see the attachments at the bottom and I can click on them and it looks like it is processing (the little wheel spins), then nothing.
PDFs open fine.

The Ask Toolbar is causing that in the Firefox 3.6.13+ versions. Uninstall that extension.
There are a couple of places to check for the Ask toolbar:

Recent update on PS elements 12, I can no longer drag and drop from one photo to the other.

Hello I hope someone can help, I am using Adobe photoshop elements 12, I am using a PC with windows 8.1.
any ways I recently was prompted that I had a update for PE12, as i always do i followed the exact instructions after the restart as prompted. I was no longer able to drag on photo to another photo, i like to use a blank page design a background and then choose a couple photos to collage or group together on one photo but now i cant drag the selected/croped or even a whole picture any one else have this probleum i am on chat with an adobe professional but even they seem stumped, maybe someone can help.

It's a bug introduced with the 12.1 update when your images are in Tabbed view. Dragging from one to another doesn't shift focus to the second image so you can't drop it. Switch to Tiled view (Windows> Images> Tile) and drag & drop will work.
If Tile is greyed out you need to switch on Floating Documents.

Since updating to Firefox 4.0.1 I can no longer open and populate fields in eith Adobe Acrobat Pro or Adobe Readers wher I used to be able to.

In earlier version of Firefox I could open a PDF file from my Insurance provider with some of the fields automatically populated. Since upgrading to Firefox 4 I can no longer open PDF file from this site.
I have upgraded to Adobe Acrobat X and also Adobe Reader X in an effort to resolve this issue with no luck.
I have changed the settings under tools/options to use Adobe in Firefox as well as use Adobe as default with no difference.
I seem to recall a note of some sort when upgrading Firefox to 4.0 about compatibility with Adobe but cannot recall the details.
Any assistance would be appreciated.

They must be installed one at a time in sequence.

Now, if after attempted updates fail then you'll need to speak with your IT Department.
You need your install of Acrobat 10 updated to dot version 10.1.7.

You were probably using the Release Candidate version of camera raw 8.7, which one gets from Adobe Labs.

Snow Leopard is required if you wanted to upgrade to Lion, anyway, which you may want to in the future if the latest version of iTunes no longer supports Snow Leopard.

If you updated to OS X Mavericks, there may have been an automatic update to Numbers 3. Numbers 3 will be in your Applications folder. Numbers '09 has not been replaced. Look for Numbers '09 (Numbers 2.3) in a folder called iWork '09 inside your Applications folder. You can run both versions of Numbers at the same time.
I have icons for both versions on my Dock. Drag each to the Dock from Applications folder and Applications > iWork '09 folder. Right click on each and Options > Keep in Dock. Now you have the choice of which to use.
Numbers 2 (3 column chart) on the left. Numbers 3 (4 column chart) on the right.
If a document won't open, try opening from within each version. Or right click on the document and Open With...
You can Export a Numbers 3 document back to Numbers '09 with Menu > Export > Numbers '09...
Post back if you have problems.
