OOur internet service is not always fast enough to stream directly on Apple TV which is why we want to use AirPlay from the iPad to Apple TV. When we try to play a movie it starts for one second and then crashes out. This does not happen with every TV show - we watched 8 episodes of Season 4 with no problem, but it would not play episode 9 or episode 1 of season 5.

Do you have backup made of the phone before it was deleted? if so, you can get it out of the backup, otherwise, not much hope.
If on mac: Dr.Fone (Mac) will do the job nicely, I'm sure there's something equivalent for windows, but I'm not so familiar there.

How can I transfer a video recording from iPad Mini to PC?

Hello Good People,
I've got an iPad Mini running ios 7.1.2.
I've got a Windows laptop running Windows 7 with iTunes 11.3.1.2.
I recorded a video of an interview with my elderly mother which I want to transfer to my laptop for editing and saving for the family.
I'd like to use Sync but Sync scares me every time I look at it that it will start erasing things from one place or another. Looks like the unstated assumption is "Sync" from PC to iDevice, not the direction I want to go.
So, I've done the google searching and haven't found anyone answering this issue but I've found dozens of adds from third party software I can buy to do what apple should provide for as a foundational, basic capability which leads me to think that they have purposefully not given people this capability for some reason. The iPad Mini also doesn't appear in Windows Explorer so I can't find the videos myself.
Anyone have a blessedly simple way I'm just not seeing? Is it safe to use Sync and not lose this precious video forever after it flashes its warning of erasing things?

Okay, I figured out that Windows has "AutoPlay" settings which can automatically download photos and videos from a newly connected device, such as an iPad Mini. I think I could open it in Windows Explorer too that way but the auto download solved my problem.

Why can't i delete videos from my ipad mini 2?

Hi,
I'm running out of space on my iPad mini 2, 32gb, ios8.1.2. I want to delete some videos I shot on holiday last year, so I can make some more this year.
In the camera roll, I hit select, select the vids to delete, but the trash can icon goes grey (inactive) instead of blue (active). Deleting photographs is not a problem.
These films are not on my Cloud drive. I copied them onto my laptop - for editing purposes and backup. They are in a sub-folder in Movies, not in iTunes, as far as I can tell.
This doesn't explain why they are still on my iPad, despite all attempts to delete them!
Please help - I dare not shoot more vid until I know I'll be able to get rid of it!

Is it possible that these videos are being used in an iMovie for iOS project? That would cause it to be impossible to delete them. See this article for how to complete the deletion -

Will Burn But Won't Play

I want to make a dvd that's first play with no menu like so:

I followed everything exactly. However, when it is done burning, the dvd does not play in a computer or dvd player (the file is a .mov that is being burned).
Why will it burn, but not play in any dvd playing device?

I did build separately and was able to make a new folder without it being HSDVD.
But this shows up in the log:

Music Loaded but Won't Play

I have a 160GB iPod and a lot of music on iTunes (approximately 31,000 tracks using 147GBs). The music comes from several sources -- iTunes purchases, CD rips, e-Music, Amazon.com, and other downloads. My problem is that when I sync the iPod (attempting to load all my music on it) and eject it, the iPod indicates that it is holding only a portion of the music in iTunes (e.g., 23,274 tracks) and won't play any of them. When I try to use Coverflow on the iPod, it doesn't respond. If I hit play on the Artist or Album list the iPod reads No Artist/Album. The Search feature is unable to locate any tracks on the iPod. If I try to load only a portion of my music (e.g., all music by bands whose names begin with the letters A through O), I can load and play the music on the iPod. Of course this isn't why I bought the 160GB iPod -- I wanted to load all my music. I have tried this with 4 new 160GB iPods with the same results. So I spent a considerable amount of time trying to clean up my music files by converting them to AAC hoping this would correct any conflicts or corrupted files. It doesn't seem to have helped and no one at Apple Support has any ideas. Has anyone experienced this problem or have suggestions?

Well, my first thought is your iPod is full. Remember, though it is called a 160GB iPod, this means 160 billion bytes. This translates to approximately 149GB (as computed by the iPod or any other computer). If you account for overhead such as album art, games, operating system, library database, etc., the iPod may just be filling up prior to completion. I do not know what happens in such a case.
And the reason for the discrepancy - hard drive manufacturers use Base10 when marketing their wares; computers (PCs, Macs, whatever) use Base2 when computing drive size (or memory size, for that matter). So, 160 billion is (10^9)*160. However, the computer computes 160GB as (2^30)*160 (or a little over 171 billion bytes). Designating GB as 1 billion bytes has been standard marketing for the past 20 years.

AuditionCS6 loaded but won't play

I wouldn't bother - that won't be the problem at all. If you can open Audition, load a file, and then it won't play, the transport has failed. And the only reason that the transport fails is that Audition isn't connected to your sound device any more. So go to the preferences section, look at the hardware settings and see what's happened there. Reinstalling won't alter this in the slightest.
You haven't said whether this is on a Mac or a PC, but this behaviour is the same on both.
