I can't download mountain lion, I get the following message "could not complete your purchase, can't verify the file, it may be damaged or unsigned" ? what do i have to do ?
The only thing that worked for me was to boot in safe mode.
Power down. Then press power button and hold 'shift' key until grey screen with progress bar appears... Once booted and logged in just open safari and browse to applestore.
No trouble at all once I did this.
Reminder: create full backup before you upgrade OS
Hope it helps.

I'm using Photoshop CC 2014. When I click on Define Custom Shape, there is an error box that says "could not complete your request because of a program error." How can I solve this problem or work around it? I've looked on the internet for answers but could find no solutions to this. The custom shape tool is 99% of what I use!
Consider resetting the Pen tool by right clicking here
and if that doesn't solve the problem a logical next step would be to reset your Preferences.
To reset Preferences:
If Photoshop is already open on your screen, close it (Quit). Then hold down Shift+Ctrl+Alt (Win) / Shift+Command+Option (Mac) on your keyboard and start Photoshop.
A dialog box will pop up asking if you want to delete the existing Preferences file (the "Settings"). Click Yes in the dialog box. The existing Preferences file will be scrapped and a new one will be created.
By the way, if "The custom shape tool is 99% of what I use!" have you considered Illustrator? -
I get the error message when I try and print. I do custom printing for clients. I've tried turning off my computer and re-starting it, but that didn't help. Do I need to un-install CS5, and then re-install?
An uninstall and reinstall rarely solves a problem. If it worked before, and nothing has changed reset preferences. Start PS and immediately hold down ctrl alt shift (cmd option shift on mac). If fast enough you will get a reset window. Say yes.

I need help, i have the CC 2014 and i can npt get to associate the "extract filter"
How did you get the Extract filter into Photoshop CC? You will need to undo that - especially if you copied a whole batch of plug-ins supplied by Adobe with an earlier version.

My Mac was rebooted off the system disk. I have CS6 for Design and Web. Every other app opens. The only one that won't open is Photoshop. I tried to launch it without the preferences file, it still didn't launch. The Plug-ins folder is empty except for a folder called Panels, which is also empty. Should I uninstall and then reinstall?

When trying to download Mountain Lion, I get the following message: "We could not complete your purchase. OSX 10.8 Mountain Lion requires a Core 2 Duo, .... processor." However, my iMac lists a 2GHz Intel Core Duo as its processor. Help?
Welcome to the Apple Support Communities
Mountain Lion is a 64-bit operating system, and an Intel Core Duo processor is only 32-bit, so you can't use Mountain Lion on your Mac. You can keep using your actual OS X version or buy a new Mac if you want Mountain Lion -
I cannot download OS X Mountain Lion, I get an error message that says: "We could not complete your purchase. The product distribution file could not be verified. It may be damaged or was not signed." Why am I receiving this message?

Why do I get this messge when I try to download Mtn Lion? "We could not complete your purchase. OS X Mountain Lion is not compatible with this computer." I am currently running Lion and have updated all Apps and Software. I have version 10.7.5.
Hi Mtn Mama,
Sounds like your Mac may not be compatible with OSX Mountain Lion. Here is a link with the list of compatible Macs:

Ap store says "we could not complete your purchase. OS X Mountain Lion is not compatible with this computer". I'm running 10.6.8 duel core intel with 15gb of memory. Any ideas on why I can't download?
Thanks. If the OP has this much RAM in their iMac, certain this Mac can run Mountain Lion.
The reason it might not be installing is that 15 GBs of RAM.
Your iMac should have (4) equal sized, 4 GB sticks of RAM for a total of 16 GBs.l
If your iMac is only reporting that there is only 15 GBs of RAM, you have a RAM stick that is either not seated in its slot properly or is defective/going bad.
This maybe the reason that it won't download it.
Also could be you are running out of free space on your HD.
You need, at least 15-20 % or greater free space left on your HD. -
When I try to upgrade to Mountain Lion OS form Lion OS, after I select the "Buy App" option I get this "We could not complete your purchase. The product distribution file could not be verified. I am currently running OS X 10.6.8 on an iMac (model identifier iMac11,1). I have purchased Mountain Lion so that we can run Adobe CC. I have been advised that Mavericks is not compatible with our proxy server.
When attempting download from the Mac app store I receive this error:
"We could not complete your purchase. The product distribution file could not be verified. It may be damaged or was not signed."
The following is shown in console when attempting to download:
28/11/13 10:07:24 AM App Store[1824] *** Assertion failure in -[ISDistributionManager verifyDistributionAtURL:allowsDevSign:error:distributionController:], /SourceCache/Pisa/Pisa-60.8/Source/ISDistributionManager.m:146
Please help! I have read many discussions and there doesn't seem to be a fix for this as yet. Any ideas?
Thanks. The following article pointed me in a better direction:
http://reviews.cnet.com/8301-13727_7-20081398-263/os-x-10.7-cannot-be-installed-on-certain-drives/
I tried to go the partition route, but for some reason the operation failed.
I decided to attempt a Lion install again afterwards anyway, but once again it failed, but now my whole system was hosed and could not revert back to Snow Leopard.
I did a restore from time machine. Once that completed, I attempted to install Lion again, and ta da! it works now.
What a pain.
