I can't Expot dps from Powerpoint.

it permission error but i already membership dps admin and did't creative cloud subscription

You need to log in with an account that's configured as an application account in the DPS portal. Just being an administrator account won't do it. Make sure you've enabled the application role in the DPS Administration portal then it should work.

  • Since update to 10.6.8 can't export images from powerpoint and also other programs

Ever since I updated my software to 10.6.8 I can't export images from Powerpoint or from a graphing software GraphPad Prism.  It's really frustrating.  I had no problems at all until this update. Is there any way to revert my version to the old OS 10.6?
I can't work when I can't put images into illustrator!
    Thanks, AOH

I just contacted Final Draft and they helped me with it. If you have FD and are going to upgrade an OS, Deactivate Final Draft first then re-activate it once the new OS is installed.

  • Can't publlish slides from Powerpoint 2013 to sharepoint slide gallery

Just upgraded to office 2013 - previously had 2007.  I had no problems in the past publishing slides to my slide gallery in Sharepoint, or copying slides from the gallery to Powerpoint.  Now I can't publish and I can't copy to Powerpoint from sharepoint.
I have a couple slide libraries in my sharepoint... so when I go to publish from PowerPoint 2013 I browse and choose the right one
    https://[our server]/sales/2012%20Sales%20Slides/
Then hit publish... I'm trying this for a single slide only. When I do so I get the error:
1 of 1 slides that were being published to https://[our server]/sales/2012 Sales Slides/ filed.  Try publishing again.
When I try selecting slides from my gallery and hit the "Copy to Slide Presentation" button I get the error:
This feature requires Microsoft Internet Explorer version 5.5 or later.
    I'm using IE9.  SharePoint 2007
    Please help.

I am having this same issue.. I have about 8 users that can't publish from PowerPoint 2013 to SharePoint 2010 but I also have a few that can. The interesting part is the ones that can publish were all upgrades rather than fresh installs. I created a fresh
VM of Windows 8 and Office 2013 and was unable to publish. However, when I uninstalled 2013 and installed 2010 on the same VM I was able to publish. I then upgraded to 2013 and was able to publish UNTIL I rebooted at which point I was unable to publish. The
frustrating part is there are no errors anywhere: event viewer, SP logs, Office UI, nothing.
Does anyone have any ideas? I am pretty much out.

  • Can't Publish Slides from PowerPoint 2013 to SharePoint 2010 Slide Library

    Hello all,
When I attempt to publish PowerPoint 2013 slides to a SharePoint 2010 Slide Library it informs me that it failed. I am able to publish PowerPoint 2010 slides without issue. All of my permissions are correct. Is it possible to publish PowerPoint 2013 slides
    to SharePoint 2010?
The weird thing is that while I can't publish, I can compile a new slide deck in PowerPoint 2013 using the "Copy slide to presentation" button in the slide library of my SharePoint 2010 site.
    Thanks!

When I get this error it is because SharePoint is not passing the credentials to the network share where the slide library is located. So when PowerPoint
tries to upload slides to SharePoint it is giving an error of unauthorized (because your credentials are not being passed correctly). Every part of SharePoint is essentially a network shared drive just like you have an internal network to share files between
employees. Assuming you are having the same problem for the same reason, here's the work around:
Set up a mapped network drive that goes to where the slide library is located. It should be something like this: \\sp.sharepoint.com@SSL\site\Sales\Slide Library
When you connect to this drive it will prompt you for a log in (just like SharePoint would)
Once you log in your credentials will be cached (until you reboot your system or it times out)
You can then publish to your PowerPoint slides to the library either directly through PowerPoint or by going to the upload slides option on SharePoint
The problem is it only last until you reboot. When you reboot it clears out your credentials then you have to log in again. I’m hoping someone can figure out why SharePoint is
not passing the credentials properly so we can have true fix to this issue. Until then, this will get you by.

Is there a log file in the document folder indicating what the problem was. There are a number of reasons that PDF creation may fail. You can try to print to the Adobe PDF printer to see if there is any indication in that process. The processing is different, but the same problems may show up with both processes.

  • Creating PDFs from PowerPoint Tables that InDesign Can Handle

Hi - I just posted the question below on the InDesign forum, but I think it may actually be a Microsoft-Adobe-pdf issue.  Any help is much appreciated.
Hi All, this is my first post on the Adobe Community.  I problem cropped up in the last week and i am going crazy.  Please help!!  I am running on  a MacBook Pro with OSX 10.7.5.
I have been using a workflow to create tables in InDesign for months with no issues:
    1.  Calculate a complex table in Excel
    2.  Paste the table into PowerPoint for formatting
    3.  Copy the table in PowerPoint, then paste it back as a pdf image
    4.  Option-click on the pdf image on the slide to save it as a pdf file
    5.  Go to a frame InDesign that already has a linked image, re-link to the new pdf file.
This workflow has been very helpful because I have a lot of complex and carfully formatted tables I need to get into InDesign.  Now, since upgrading both my Microsoft Office 2011 and my Adobe CS6 SW it not working.
I can copy, paste-as-pdf, save the pdf file.   But when I try to link to it in InDesign it get the message "Failed to open the pdf file."
I can still link to older pdf files with no problem, and I can use this work flow on text-only pdf files from PowerPoint.  The pdf files that contain tables are not linking into InDesign.  I have tried to do the past-as-pdf into Microsoft Word and the behavior is the same.
All the pdf files look fine in Acrobat.
Thank you very much for any assistance.
    -Cecelia

It's a matter of efficiency as much as anything else. I read too many
reports here of people having problems printing previewing or working
with PDFs and it often comes back to preview.
It's fine for JPGs but PDFs? No, especially those generated by InDesign.
Why open them in preview only to find a problem when Reader or Acrobat
are far better applications? It just seems horribly inefficient to have
preview set as the default for PDFs only to find an problem and then
have to quit preview and open Reader or Acrobat.

If the app is not available in the App Store in the country in which you live, you cannot buy the app. You must have a valid credit card registered to an address in the county in which you live to purchase content from the App Store or iTunes. You cannot buy from another country's store.

  • To DVD from powerpoint

How do I brun to DVD using a file from Powerpoint? I want this to be a playble DVD to play on a DVD player.
    HP   Windows XP Pro

You can export the Powerpoint as a movie then encode it as an m2v.
To retain interactivity (pausing and so forth until remote key is pressed) you can use the m2v and drop markers in to pause or you can export the powerpoint as a series of images and recreate as a slidehow, but it depends on what is going on in the Powerpoint.
Sometimes it is better just to distribute the Powerpoint as a Powerpoint file (thugh it will not play on a regular DVD Player)

  • Invisible boxes displayed when exporting from PowerPoint

I am using Acrobat 10.1.4 with PowerPoint 2010 on Windows 7 Home Premium.  I have a presentation that contains some opaque white boxes that I remove through animation to make visible text underneath.  I structure my presentation this way because I make handouts from the slides and want my students to have to write in the uncovered text.  Because I print handouts on a black-and-white printer, I generate black-and-white (or grayscale) PDF files.
Unfortunately, when I print to PDF from PowerPoint, choosing either the grayscale or black-and-white option, the boxes show up as black outlines, rather than being invisible (except for hiding what is behind them).  The problem occurs whether I make the box outlines white or invisible.  If I print in color, I do not have this problem.
Here is the document.  Can anyone suggest a workaround?
    Thank you.
    Ellen

If you check the print preview in PPT, the borders do not appear for color, but show for both grayscale and B&W. I use the black and white option on the print screen, and get the same result as if I select the B&W in the printer properties. I am not a good enough PPT user to say how to change it there, but it would appear as MS has programmed it to work this way. Sorry, I don't have a better answer.

  • Problem with printing from Powerpoint 2007

Am printing to pdf from Powerpoint 2007 (using Acrobat 8.1.4), using the Print>Select Printer>Adobe PDF route, but the pdfs that are being created look terrible (distorted, washed out colours, etc) and print even worse. Is there an incompatibility problem, or has a setting gone awry? Thanks in advance.

It may vary. I have seen some strange results from OFFICE 2007, where there apparently are some hooks built into the MS software. You might try with OFFICE 2003 or OpenOffice. I have used OFFICE 2003 for some things and gotten excellent results, where OFFICE 2007 created issues. I know that it is OFFICE 2007 since I also played with different versions of Acrobat for Office 2007 and got the same strange results, where things were fine with OFFICE 2003. There may be an issue with the
I just created a new PDF from PPT 2007 and the results were looking fine. For folks to be able to comment more effectively, they need to be able to duplicate what you did and I am not sure that can be done with the information you have provided. Specifically, what job settings file did you use in the Adobe PDF printer, etc.

I opened directly from my email on my Apple laptop.  I opened it using Keynote from PowerPoint file.  How do I change it and insert anything?  It just did not have audio output.  Period.
BTW, I did the same thing on any PC.  Voila!  No problem.  PowerPoint on PC works like a charm.  I am not happy with Keynote that I thought would take care of my PowerPoint files from my Macbook pro.  What else could I do?  Hopefully, Apple will update to solve this audio music problem of PowerPoint in the near future.  Only Apple authority could help me.
I wonder if I could write my feedback from the Keynote purchased ($9.99).  It wasted my dollars.  Maybe I can have refund.

  • Import from Powerpoint to Captivate 1.0

I'm trying to simply automate a series of Power Point slides
in Captivate. My company has a standard slide format that has
footers with clear text on a colured background. Although the slide
content comes in clearly the footers are blurred, the characters
    seemingly merging.
I ideally wanted 800x600 for best web look, but have tried
1024 x768 but the image still appears blurred. I think I have tried
every setting of properties. Any ideas?

Perhaps an old post from one of our former Adobe Community

When importing PPT slides to a movie, can I stretch the slide
to fit the Captivate movie frame? I see nothing in help.

    redvic,
It sounds like you have a slight mismatch between the aspect
ratios of your Captivate movie and the PowerPoint presentation. It
strikes me that you could either try 1) using "File > Page
Setup" in PPT to change the aspect ratio of your PPT and then do a
manual capture/import operation into Captivate of the selected
slides, or else 2) if a straight manual capture would not produce a
scalability problem for the slide in Captivate, you could use the
PPT splitter bars to resize the thumbnail image in Normal view to
whatever you need and then manually capture the slide, taking care
to crop the slide top and bottom to get the aspect ratio the way
you need. Hopefully someone else can suggest a more elegant
    solution - good luck!

    Hi,
Thanks, your first suggestion worked! I did not know I could
do a custom-sized PPT slide. I did File > Page Setup and chose
"Custom" for Slides sized for field. Then, I specified the height
and width of the slides based on the size of my existing Captivate
project. For this, I had to convert pixels of the Captivate project
to inches in PPT. I divided the pixels dimensions by 72 and got the
approximate inches. For example, 798x546 in Captivate converted to
    11.1" x 7.6" in PPT.
    redvic 08/02/2005 03:57:09 PM
    Hi,
A caveat to this solution: When I switched to a Custom sized
PPT slide size, PowerPoint automatically adjusted the font sizes,
too. For example, I increased the width of the PPT slide a little
bit and my 24 pt Heading font became 26 pt. Our corporate standard
is 24 pt. So, I had to go into the slides and adjust the font sizes
    back to the corporate standards.
    =========================> End Pasted Text
    Hopefully this helps... Rick
