I can't find the View Tab to Zoom in and out! My font got so small and I don't know how to enlarge it without zoom!!

My font on the facebook page has suddenly gotten very SMALL. In the past when this happened in Firefox, I simply went up to the bar and clicked on VIEW and then ZOOMED in or out. NOW there are NONE of the old wanted and loved tabs at the top of the new horrible page. WHERE is the VIEW tab or the ZOOM in and ZOOM out tab??

Usually you have either the orange Firefox button or the classic menu bar, but not both at the same time.
You should be able to switch back and forth this way:
If the classic menu bar is not displayed, tap the Alt key to display it and then use
View > Toolbars > Menu Bar
to make it persistent. It should replace the orange Firefox button. To switch back, uncheck
View > Toolbars > Menu Bar
Does that work??
Also, you can zoom by holding the Ctrl key and scrolling your mouse wheel. This is a finder adjustment, but can be harder to control.

In Firefox 3.6 and later on Windows you can hide the "Menu Bar" via "View > Toolbars" or via the right-click context menu on a toolbar.
Press F10 or press and hold the Alt key down to bring up the "Menu Bar" temporarily.
Go to "View > Toolbars" or right-click the "Menu Bar" or press Alt+V T to select which toolbars to show or hide (click on an entry to toggle the state).

You cannot drag the effects themselves to the timeline. You add them to a clip in the Viewer, just as you have done.
If the clip was already in the timeline when you opened it in the Viewer (by double-clicking it in the timeline to open it in the Viewer) and then added the reverb effect, there is nothing further to do, you have added the effect to the clip. You don't drag it back to the timeline.
You only have to drag the clip to the timeline if the clip was not already in the timeline (for example, if you opened the clip from the FCE Browser; or set different In and Out points in a master clip to use a different portion of the master clip in a different location in your timeline).
Depending on the effect you add, you may have to render the timeline after adding the effect. But I don't think reverb requires immediate rendering. One other note, you said you were working with an audio clip ... audio clips need to be AIFF (not MP3 or something else) and preferably 16-bit stereo.

I can't find the summery tab on the new itunes. please help!

I'm locked out of my ipod(4th generation). I have synced and downloaded the new itunes because that is what I had to do. Now I can't find the summery tab in itunes so I can restore my ipod. I tried to start over and now it says i don't have enough space to sync my ipod again. I don't do well with computers so someone please help!!??

If you have iTunes 11 turn on the Sidebar. Go to iTunes>View and click on Show Sidebar. You can also do a Crtl+S to show the sidebar. The sidebar is where Devices appears. and Control+B to show the Menu bar

If you update to iOS 4.3.3 you should then see it in the App Store app. If you have iTunes 10.3 on your computer you can also do it there. Otherwise I think that you'll have to go through your purchase history on your account in iTunes on your computer.

I can't find the Firefox tab that takes me to edit and print et al. unless I have a little bitty screen.

I just got a new computer and got changed to windows 8, and the guy set it up with internet explorer when I was accustomed to using firefox. My son put it on firefox, but I can't find the firefox tab with access to edit, print, print preview, etc. , except when I have the firefox box on three quarters of the screen, which is too small. How do I get it to fill up the screen and still give me the little box so I can print? Please don't answer with an avalanche of gibberish, because my computer understanding is negligible.

Hi Senyax, how are you enlarging Firefox when you want it larger? These will give you different results:
(1) Maximize the window (middle button between _ and X)
You should still be able to see the top bar of the window with the orange Firefox button. If you can't see any of it, one of your Firefox settings files might be corrupted.
(2) Full screen (F11 key or orange Firefox button > Full Screen)
By default, nothing other than the website shows in full screen mode. Although you can have the tab bar and toolbar display (slide your mouse to the top of the screen and right-click a blank area of the tab bar, then uncheck "Hide Toolbars"), you cannot use the orange Firefox menu button in this mode.

I just bought a x-fi fatalty. All drivers was installed.
However when I tried to set the spdif passthru to an external AV amp, I can't find the decoder tab in the audio console windows as shown in below screen capture I found on the web.

Hi adrianmak?If you use spdif don?t need X-Fi decoder, when use spdif you send signal to a external decoder. Digital Connections, SPDIF and Dolby Digital Info[/b] ?Movies wth Dolby Digital (AC3) & DTSMovies on DVD often use encoded?audio in the form of Dolby Digital (AC3) or DTS. This means that all 6 channels are compressed into a single stream of digital data. A decoder is required to extract the channels and send the sound to the correct speakers. There are three ways to do this.
) Pass the AC3/DTS signal to a external decoder. This is where your optical/coax connection is used. To?go down this route, you must first have a?set of speakers or a decoder that?supports Dolby Digital.
In your DVD software, select 'SPDIF' as the audio output method and 'SPDIF Pass-through' in?your?soundcard options. What this does is?tells both the software and soundcard to leave the audio from the DVD in compressed form and send it straight through the digital outputs. Your?digital speakers/receiver will do all the decoding to give you full surround sound.
Please note that this?is the only way to get 6 channels through an optical/coax cable.
2) Decode the AC3/DTS with your Sound Blaster.?You should choose this option if?you don't have an external decoder. In the DVD software, select 'SPDIF' as the audio output method and make sure that 'SPDIF Pass-through' in the souncard options is?off. The DVD software will now pass the compressed audio to your soundcard, which will then decode the data. The soundcard will output the 6 channels using the?analogue connections (or digital DIN, more on this later). If you try?to use a digital optical/coax connection to your speakers, you will only hear faint sounds from the front left/right speakers.
3) Decode the AC3/DTS with software.?If you have a soundcard that doesn't support Dolby Digital (like the SB Li've! 24-bit) and you don't have digital speakers, the only way for you to get surround sound in movies is to use software to decode the AC3/DTS. The free versions of DVD software you get with hardware often don't support this feature,? you will most likely need a full version. First select 'Dolby Digital' or 'DTS' decoding in the DVD software audio options (you must select the right?sound format for the movie you are watching). Then make sure that 'SPDIF Pass-through' in the soundcard options is off. After iPhone connects to iTunes, can not find the photos tab for sync. Thus, I can not copy some phototes from my Macbook to iPhone, But my iTouch can do this. I don't know why.

If you are using a mac, you use iphoto.
If you are on windows, you use whatever camera software windows uses.
Itunes does not import photos.

Help ! I can't find the "field" tab for an object in the library

Just starting out with the software. I want to place a text box that spans several lines and "allow multiple lines" in a form I am building. The only problem is I can't find the field tab for the text box object. The only two tabs I have at the top of the object library is "Object Library" and "Fragment Library"
What am I missing?

Click on the Object Library. Below that there shoudl be three libraries (My Favorites, Standard and Custom). The Textfield is in the Standard library. If all else false you can use the Insert Menu and then choose standard from there.

I can't find the effects tab!

I'm using 10.0.1 Garageband and need to change the pitch of my voice to make it lower! I can't find the effects tab no matter what I do! Where can I add and edit custom effects? In the previous GB I could just go to Info then Effects. I can't find this to save my life. Can anyone help me?

The AuPitch filter is really versatile, but you may need toadjust the Formant as well. Then you need to use a patch for your vocal track that has a vocal transformer.
You will find the old GrarageBand patches with predefined filters and track effects in the "Legacy" section of the GarageBand Instrument library.
If you use the patch "Legacy > GarageBand > Vocals > Deeper Vocals" you will see a Vocal Transformer, if you open the Smart Controls for thee Track. There you can adjust the Pitch and the Formant.
