I can't hear my music or you tube video?

Although the ringer has volume, my phone is saying that there is no volume for my music, video, radio stations, pandora, etc.

I am having the same problem. All other sources produce sound except for music apps it seems. The volume works fine for the ringer, games, etc. But for iPod, Pandora, etc. it is muted, but the volume slider is at mid-level. I have tried with headphones, car adapter, built-in speaker and the problems exists in all.

For that matter, you can't distribute music you've imported from CDs either except as might be allowed in any "fair use" provisions in your country's copyright laws.
If you want to create videos to post on a pubic site and you want them to have music, the best way around copyright issues is to either use music that's specifically put into the public domain or provided royalty-free (search the web for sites containing such music) or compose something yourself using a tool like GarageBand.

I can not open netflix or some you tube videos

I have tried to install silverlight as instructed but nothing works (Netflix) I have other non Apple computers that are working just fine but this is the only one that has been difficult which is a shame becase it was the most expensive......I tried to figure it out but just don't have the patience.

Settings > General > Date and Time and make sure its set automatically.

You Tube videos no longer work after Flash Player upgrade

I am running Win XP 2002 with SP3 and Firefox 3.6.15. I just upgraded flash player and now the You Tube videos no longer display. The You Tube sound works. IE has not be affected and I can see the You Tube videos. Firefox does display videos from Netflix and news sites but not You Tube. Your company wants $39.00 to solve a problem that is the result of your efforts, not mine. I think that is wrong. So what do I do so I can resume using Firefox to view You Tube videos?

I am having a great deal of issues trying to sort out the flash player. Tried uninstalling/reinstalling the flash player, however I still get the same messages on sites such as youtube, bbc that I do not have the correct version installed and to install version 10.
I notice that you have mentioned to right click the flash symbol and then on to settings on the link page that you provided, unfortunately, all i can see is a plain box with a cross in the top left hand corner, and when i right click, there is no Settings option. i have run malware and other sytem scans and have removed any issues that there might have been, all still to no avail.

So i got my iphone 6 and works fine with the bluetooth on my lexus until i plug in the charger. When i do so the music you can't hear the music. When i have it unplugged the music plays fine through the speakers.

Hearing just Music from the Itunes Videos. Can you access just the audio?

Have a 40 Gb Color Ipod and have loaded some videos on my Imac....just wondering if there is a way to hear the music part from the videos. Anything you buy from the iTunes Music Store has digital rights management built in. Basically you would have to use a 3rd party program to extract the audio portion, and Apple get very touchy about posts that discuss messing with purchased music/videos.
The last couple were removed by the Mods. Just so you know. : )

That's likely an indication or one or more hardware failures of the iPod. You'll want to get the iPod serviced in order to gain full functionality of it again or start saving for a new iPod.

It sounds like you are not getting audio when you connect your headphones to your iPod Classic. I would use the troubleshooting steps in the following article named:

Step one is to reset your iPod, and here it is to get you started. There are additional troubleshooting steps if needed in the article as well:
To reset your iPod:
1. Toggle the Hold switch on and off. (Slide it to Hold, then turn it off again.)
2. Press and hold the Menu and Center (Select) buttons simultaneously until the Apple logo appears, about 6 to 10 seconds. You may need to repeat this step.
Tip:
If you are having difficulty resetting your iPod, set it on a flat surface. Make sure the finger pressing the Select button is not touching any part of the click wheel. Also make sure that you are pressing the Menu button toward the outside of the click wheel, and not near the center.
If the above steps did not work, try connecting iPod to a power adapter and plug the power adapter into an electrical outlet, or connect iPod to your computer. Make sure the computer is turned on and isn't set to go to sleep.

Check the volume setting.
Try adjusting the volume by pressing the volume buttons.
Try another song or audio file.
Try another headset.
Reset iPod by holding down the Sleep/Wake button and Volume Down buttons until you see the Apple logo appear.

If you have lost all sound and video is freezing on you, that ain't good. Your iPad is two months old so I would not hesitate to contact Apple at all. You are entitled to 90 days of phone support.

If you want to try a couple of things on your own, try quitting all apps and then reboot the iPad - not so much for the sound issue itself - but more as a general "start all over again" sort of approach. It might help with the video freezes.
Go to the home screen first by tapping the home button. Double tap the home button and the task bar will appear with all of your recent/open apps displayed at the bottom. Tap and hold down on any app icon until it begins to wiggle. Tap the minus sign in the upper left corner of the app that you want to close. Tap the home button or anywhere above the task bar. Reboot the iPad.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.
If you use headphones on occasion, you can try plugging and unplugging those as well and see if the sound comes back.
You could even try restoring the iPad to factory settings and then restore from a backup, but unless there is something totally hosed on the iPad, that should not be necessary with a two month old device - of course assuming that you didn't drop the iPad or do something accidental that could be causing the problems.
