I can't imessage my other iphone4 it says not delivered and ask me to try again and gives me the option to send as a text
OK so I have two new 4S phones with the new imessage feature, one phone is mine and the other phone is my wife's. I have one itunes account that recognizes both phones as the same email account in the Apple ID in the imessage settings on both phones. We are having problems with the imessage working between us. When we are sitting next to each other it works, but when we are at our seperate places of employment and text each other we get imessage error's "Not delivered", it works fine as a regular text, so I'm guessing it has something to do with both phones having the same Apple ID. How do I get her phone to have her own seperate Apple ID, or is there another way to resolve this issue? Neither one of us has unlimited texting so the imessag feature is really great for us if it will work.
Try simply dismissing the popup by hitting cancel and then Get Mail from the account in question.

To Reset Your Security Questions, You will need to call Apple (0800 048 0408) and Reset them, you'll need for verification access to the apple id web page (myappleid.apple.com) and it will ask for a temporary pin and also a iDevice on hand to recieve a code from Apple in order to reset your security questions

I'm having troubles with my iMessage. Every I text people when I have iMessage (Internet) it always shows up as my email. Never my number, whenever people text me it goes to my text messages (green) please help. It doesn't even give me the option of "Start new conversation from" because it won't let me click on my number when it says "Address". I need to prevent this ASAP!

If you are doing this from your phone (as you mention) then you can use the new iPhoto Photo Journal feature to do this.
Unfortunately, iCloud does not offer equivalents to Mobile Me’s iDisk, Gallery or Web Hosting services. You will need to find a third party solution to replace these services. You might consider DropBox, SugarSync, MediaFire or any other service that offers online storage. -
I can't seem to get my Imessages to send on my mac. I have tried everything, and it says it is synced to my phone.. Not sure what else to do to fix it??
..any joy finding an answer? I am stumped, too. Every day I convert Pages Docs to Word and PDF to forward to clients .. and all of the sudden last night Pages wouldn't let me convert. it was late -- I was frustrated, so I thought it was just me. Shoot me an answer if you found one. Tried rebooting, and no joy.

imessage frequently says 'not delivered'. very frustrating!
Down in Washington DC too (on the web-site and in all IMAP clients), since about noon, local time. The "All services are online" at <http://www.apple.com/support/icloud/systemstatus/> looks quite annoying. Especially, since there are multiple threads reporting the same problem, all over the country and even abroad (UK).

Me and my friend can't iMessage each other?

Recently, we haven't been able to text each other, so I emailed her, and she said that whenever she tries to message me, a red sign pops up saying "not delivered". So I tried to message her, but it said she didn't have an account with iMessage.

I would be concerned too if I was not able to send or recieve messages from a specific person.

The option of send in iMessage in iPad mini appears grey in color. Even though I have written a message. Sending the message is not possible. What can be done?

1. Do you have internet access, does Safari bring up a web page?
If you have internet access try this:
A good old fashioned “restart” might do the trick.
Settings -> Messages -> iMessage (OFF)
Turn iMessages on
Reboot your iOS device
A reboot tends to free up memory, help with leaks, etc.
Hold the power key and slide to power off and simultaneously
Hold the power button to power on until the Apple icon appears -
I am on OS X and i am having problems sending pictures from the new pictures app via email. when i hit the sharing button i have the option to send via iMessage or Facebook but the email option is ghosted and can't be checked off. any suggestions?
I've resolved my problem now. It wasn't iphoto: preferences:@ that I needed but iphoto:preferences:general where there is the option to choose email for sending photos. Can't believe I missed that before.

The candy crunch icon has disappeared from my phone. I went to the App Store and pull it back up and it doesn't give me the option to install it, just open. When I do, it takes to my game where I left off. So my game is still there, but I can't install it on my phone.

It sounds like the application you are looking for is indeed still on your iPhone. You can confirm this by searching in the Spotlight Search for this application. It may have accidentally been moved to a folder, or an additional Home screen:

I bought my iPad mini two weeks ago and used my apple ID to make it sync with my iPhone. But so far I have not been able to activate iMessage and face time. It only gives me the option of signing in and when I do that I get an error message telling me that either my user name or password for my email is incorrect; even though I have been using my correct my apple ID in the password entry area. My apple ID works for every thing else. Please, can you help in this case?

I have just downloaded ios7 and have lost all use of my iMessage I have reset all my settings but still nothing. Error 9006 when restoring your iOS device indicates that there is security software on your computer which is preventing connection to the Apple server or your device. To troubleshoot this issue please follow the directions below.

Can log into FaceTime it then asks what I want to use as contact so I select email address it says verifying then asks for apple if again and just keeps repeating the process
