I can't make a change in Sorting

on an album in my library there is one song that has an entry in the SORT AS column and I can't delete the entry. It causes the song to be separated from the other songs on the album when I put it on my ipod. I delete it but as soon as I close everything it just shows up again. Can anyone tell me how to permanently delete this entry?

I think you want a JList. A JList will display any number of lines of text that the user can then select. You can use the setSelectionMode() method to set whether the user can select only one item or multiple items.
If you want to do the same with a popup you can use JComboBox.
An editable JComboBox will allow the user to enter their own text as well as select the "down arrow" to the right of the text box to see the list of selectable items.
An un-editable JComboBox will work like you're talking about where the user clicks in the box and the choices are displayed.

Reset Password using Recovery HD
Boot into Recovery Partition.
Start the computer,then press and hold down command and R keys to start into recovery partition.
When you see the Apple logo, release the keys.
Wait until you see OS X Utilities window shows up.
Move the mouse to the menubar at the top and click "Utilities", then select "Terminal"
from the drop down.
Terminal window will appear.
Type in resetpassword and press enter key on the keyboard.
Do not close the Terminal window
Reset Password Utility window will open with Macintosh HD selected.
Select the user account from the popup menu box.
Enter a new password.
Reenter the new password for the user.
Enter a hint.
Click the "Save" button.
Click  in the menubar and select Restart.

We had to change the feed adress and the epsiode adresses. Now all the episodes of my podcast are downloaded (although i have downloaded them already). How can I make the changes in my feed and avoid that all the episodes are reloaded?

We had to change the feed adress (<itunes:new-feed-url>)and the epsiode adresses in the feed because the feed and the episode-files are on a new server. Now when i open my iTunes subscription of our podcast all the episodes of my podcast are downloaded again (although i have downloaded them already).
My Question therefore is: How can I make the changes in my feed and avoid that all the episodes are reloaded?
Maybe have an answer?

To avoid this problem in the future i would like to change guid tags. Can you please tell me how a guid tag should look like if it is not the URL?

Cannot figure out what your talking about since it makes no sense.
If you are the account owner you can go to the My Verizon web portal http://www.verizonwireless.com
You must log in with your cell number and your my Verizon portal password. Not the account pin.
Once there you can change your plan and services. However repeated incorrect login attempts will lock you out of the site. It a fraud prevention measure.
1-800-922-0204 call support with your cell number and or account number and account pin and they can assist you.
If you don't have the information then there is nothing they can do.
If you can verify who you are they may be able to reset your account access. But only if you are the account owner.

If you mean that the address is your rescue email address then follow the steps half-way down this page for changing it http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5312 :

Click "Manage your account"

How can I make a change on one computer effect other compujters automatically

If I change a bookmark on one computer, I want that bookmark reflected on all the other computers. It seems as if I have to do the sync on system A to get the change to the server; then I must go on System B, change the sync type to copy from the server and do a sync. This is way too cumbersome. If synch means to have the same data everywhere, why isn't the default to make this happen as one logs into each system? right now if I make a change on one system and do a synch, it will get overwritten when I go to another sysem and synch.

We use test sites on our remote server. We purchase a cheap $2.99 .info domain and give it a unique domain name. We then make it an addon domain on our remote server.
When we're building sites we then make a unique subdomain to the addon domain. We upload our files to each unique site's subdomain so we can see and test them live,.then we can contact the client
and tell them to take a look at their site live, which at the time is a subdomain, etc.and uploaded.
Once we have the site completed and uploaded to the designated subdomain we then contact the client and ask them to test their site and see if it's ready or do we need to make more changes.
We use a hosting package for this that cost us less than $30.00 a year with unlimited domains and subdomains. We've got about 30 subdomains on it now and they're not even making the usage wiggle because of taking very few hits.
Once the site is completed and approved we then delete that particular site's subdomain and upload to the clients remote server.
We don't test our sites locally, we test all our sites live as we build them using a subdomain to the .info tld domain on our remote server. You can also buy hosting packages for around $12.00 a year to test your sites on.

How can i make mirror changes in playlists when homesharing two computers in itunes

Sharing files in Creative Clouds with clients who do not have InDesign. Can they make type changes?

I have a client who would like to edit an InDesign file in the Cloud. Is this possible? I could not find any tools in the Cloud that supports this. Though, I thought this was a benefit of having it in the cloud that people didn't need to have InDesign.

Currently someone without InDesign can view each page (spread) of an InDesign document from the Files page at https://creative.adobe.com/files. They can also make comments.
To make changes to the file you do need to have InDesign installed.

After closing Acrobat Reader X, can't make further changes!

I downloaded a passport application and began completing the form, which I then closed, to finish later. The form is "non-interactive", but within Acrobat Reader, I was able to click and create text boxes within the fields. All good, until I reopened the form and found I could no longer make changes. My old information was there, but now if I try to create a field, nothing happens. And when I try to select the text boxes to edit them, a light blue outline appears, but I can't alter the content or resize the boxes.
Any idea what I'm doing wrong? Is there a better way to be doing this. As this sort of use is something I'd do on a very infrequent basis, it doesn't really work for me to buy editing software, so am hoping I'm just missing a setting that would allow me to re-enable editting.

Thanks for checking it out. Can you please search for Acrobat in Spotlight, it could be that Acrobat is not present in Applications or Utilities but at some other location on your system(may be other disk volume). I am saying this because Reader does not provide the functionality to create text boxes. So if you were able to create text box in the first place then you either had Acrobat or may be some third party pdf editing tool.

Photos from cameras or scans have only one layer (the 'background' layer).
You can start with that 'background' layer and duplicate it or add other layers in the editing process. For instance you can make a selection of a subject and put it on another layer; a common use is to desaturate the 'background' and to keep the color in the selected subject in your newly created layer.

After Mavericks upgrade, I disabled iCloud / iCal connection. Now I can't make any changes to my calendar

I had multiple bad experiences with my iPhone using iCloud and when I upgraded, realized too late, that my computer was now going to be tied to the Cloud. After I recovered from the stress-induced, post-tramatic syndrome from my iPhone / iCloud experience, and verifying that I would not lose all my calendar entries, I disabled the Calendar connection for iCloud in System Preferences. Checked around iCal and nothing looked amiss.
Then I went to schedule a new event. Right click, the New Event window pops up and before I have the opportunity to type, a window pops up with this message: "There was an error saving calendar data. Calendar encountered a critical error while saving to the database, and recent changes may be lost. More information may be available in the console."
And left in my calendar is an entry called "New Event" that I cannot edit (I've tried using the menu as well as clicking). I tried deleting the event with this window popping up: "You can't change events in the "Home" calendar. Only the calendar administrator and any delegates with permission can make changes to read-only calendars. To make changes to the calendar, contact the calendar administrator."
Me, I'm the calendar administrator and sole owner & user of this computer. Theoretically, "Home" should be me, not, as I suspect, some evil remnant of the Cloud sticking around to haunt me.
Question #1 ??? How do I fix this without connecting to iCloud again

Question #3 How do I make myself the administrator, especially when I thought I already was the administrator?

Nevermind. After digging around some more in the Support community, I tried restarting my computer. Problem solved. After the mess iCloud made of my iPhone, it didn't occur to me that the fix would be something so simple for my computer.

How can I make a smart playlist sort album by artist in order of size?

I'm trying to figure out a way to make a playlist of songs I generally like from a very large library to fit on my iPod. The songs aren't rated, and I don't want to have a totally random selection chosen by a smart playlist.
I thought a good way to pare down the list would be to sort album by artist, and then filter that list in order of the size that each artist takes up. It's more important to get rid of an artist that I don't like that also hogs a lot of space than one that maybe only has one track. I figure if I could scan down the list and exclude the worst offenders, it conceivably would make the task much simpler.

I set a restrictions passcode and have completely forgotten it. I have tried to reset with iTunes but it just clears out my phone and when I turn it back on its still locked in the restrictions menu. U can't do a reset on your phone without it... So I don't know what to do.. Help!!!

There is no default code.
- Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode and restore via iTunes. For how to restore: iTunes: Restoring iOS software
You have to either:
- Restore from a backup that was make before you added the Restrictions passcode. If you restore from a backup made with the Restrictions passcode the Restrictions passcode is also restored.
- Restore to factory settings/new iPod

Unsure of why I can't make colour changes?

I'm trying to change the colours (shadows and highlights as well) of the attached shirt jpg, and am unsure of how to do this. I've looked at the help sections but can't seem to find it anywhere. Using Filters I can seem to change some bits, but I would like to be able to change from Blue to Red to Yellow to Green etc. Can anyone point me in the right direction please?

Try to use Photoshop instead.
Then go image-adjustments-hue/saturation and by sliding hue you can change to any colour (almost) you like,
