I can't open a video in cs5.

I have cs5 and also cs4 and a codec, a quick time player. when I try to open a video file through import video frames to layers this comes up.
I tried so many things, but nothing works, does anyone know any resolutions that actually WORK?

I click continue or select a part (I don't know what I select since it's all white) and when I select a certain amout of layers I click Ok and this comes up
I thought something could be missing from the photoshop file, but I downloaded cs4 a long time ago. I'm not sure what could it be.

Has actualizado el OSX a 10.9 ?, funcionaba antes? La versión de Photoshop es la CC, no la CC 2014?
En el menú de Ayuda>Actualizaciones, cual es el resultado, dice que esta al día?
Tienes abiertas otras aplicaciones?
Prueba a cerrar todo, espera media minuto y abre Photoshop a ver que ocurre.

Can you tell us about one or more of the video files - what are they? QuickTime? MP4? Something else? How did you create the video files in the first place?
I do a lot of video and when I upgraded to Snow Leopard I discovered that many of the QT videos that I had created previously (via iMovie & Final Cut) would not play correctly in QuickTime X - the bizarre behavior was that QT X acted as if my video files were only audio files! I reported this to Apple at the time but never heard anything back, and there hasn't been any change in later updates to QT X.
The solution was to (re)install QuickTime 7. But first look in your Applications > Utilities folder. When you upgrade from Leopard to Snow Leopard, the installer normally moves the old QT 7 program to your Utilities folder. If it's there, try using QT 7 to play one of your video files. If QT 7 is not there, you can download and install it from here Make sure you are running at least OS X 10.6.3 before you install QT 7. It's even better if you make sure you are running 10.6.8 which was the last release of Snow Leopard.

Do you see the context menu of the Flash player if you right-click in this part of the screen?
Make sure that you aren't blocking cookies.
You can try these steps in case of issues with web pages:
Reload web page(s) and bypass the cache to refresh possibly outdated or corrupted files.

*Press "Ctrl + F5" or press "Ctrl + Shift + R" (Windows,Linux)

Ok every son gneeds artist and album, but why in my 20 G photo Ipod I can see the songs searching via artist without any problem. And why in the new 30G video Ipod it only happens with some artists, cause for example I have 40 u2 songs, some with album name and some not, and all of them appear searching via artist. But with another artist, for example def leppard, I have 15 songs (some with album name, and some not) and searching via artist I can see only the ones in some particular album, and others that also have album name dont appear unless I look for them via song

I had the same problem.. they cure was to back up all data and 3rd party applications FIRST!
then i did a System wipe and reinstalled everything.. now i can watch all video from sites such as youtube etc without a hitch.
it is extreme but it was the only thing that worked for me.. there is information out there on backing up the 3rd party apps using BB manager/desktop

The problem was resolved a small manipulation - on stage Basic Configuration,
point 3 "Configure CA Introscope"
I forgot to add to the list of CA Introscope Enterprise Managers link to my manager.
Thus it is necessary to take into account that the path should be correct (usually for linux - /usr/sap/ccms/apmintroscope) and the directory should be applied appropriate privileges.
Then in paragraph "Byte Code Adapter Installation" - there are all the necessary data, and it starts to work correctly

every time I try opening a .jp2 file, I see only a semi-transparent grey layer. How do I fix this?
I'm running CS5.5 on 10.6.8 the video card is a 6970M with 2 GB and the system has 16 GB RAM.

You might be right about the creator application. If i open the same file converted into something readable for photoshop and save it as jpeg 2000 in photoshop, the file can be opened afterwards.
The "creator application" is the mac's built-in image capture I use to scan documents.

I am currently running CS5, on windows. I can't open any raw format files in photoshop (I took some photos with a canon 5D mark 111). I went to updates tab to try to update cs5, but I keep getting download errors and am unable to update. Any ideas on how to fix this ? Trying to edit some wedding photo's I took.
