I can't open iTunes and iPhoto. What can I do?

When I try to open them a window says that there are some problems so I can't open them and I should try later. I haven't opened them for 2 months! What can I do to solve these problems?

Go to Finder and select your user/home folder. With that Finder window as the front window, either select Finder/View/Show View options or go command - J. When the View options opens, check ’Show Library Folder’. That should make your user library folder visible in your user/home folder. Go to Library/Containers/com.apple.mail. Move the folder com.apple.mail to your desktop. You must move the entire folder, not just the contents.
Restart, re-launch Mail and test. If the problem is solved, recreate any required Mail settings and import any emails you want to save from the folder on the desktop. You can then put the folder in the Trash. If the problem remains, return the folder to where you got it replacing the one that is there.

I have the same problem as Chileen, already reinstalled itunes, quicktime and also installed ewido. i still can't open it and now get that error: Offset: 0007391.... don't know at all what this means...
Windows XP

Try this:
click start, click run
type "msconfig"
click run
click the startup tab (last on the right)
click "disable all"
click apple
click close
restart computer
try to open iTunes
Sounds like you have some security software on your compute that is causing interference with iTunes. The steps mentioned above prevents software from opening automatically and running in the background while you have Windows running. When your computer restarts, you will not have any other software running, and iTunes should not have any problems opening.
If iTunes works, make sure you go back and run MSCONFIG and disable 2 or 3 items at a time in the startup tab until you are able to pinpoint what exactly is causing iTunes to not launch.

Can't open iTunes and Audio doesn't work

Hi! I need help!
Everytime I try to open iTunes I get an Error message that says:
"The iTunes application could not be opened. An unknown error occured (-200)."
And once I started getting this error my audio stopped working. All my macbook pro does audio wise is play sound effects of what I do (move things to trash, delete things...etc.).
Anyone know what's going on here and what I can do to fix this problem?

Open up GarageBand if installed then, open a program (optional). Quit out of the GarageBand app.

suddenly my IPhoto and ITunes cant be opened. This happened this morning when I was opening IPhoto, I got a message that it was not possible and that I should delete IPhone from my computor and download a new program from Appstore. What versions of MacOS X and iPhoto are you having?
How much free disk space is on your mac?
Where do you keep your Media? iPhoto library, iTunes Library? On your system drive or on an external disk?

All my old pusrshased and even the free apps have dissapeard from iTunes and AppStore, theres only ten apps that appear on the list, what can I do?

This suddenly happened overnight and you haven't touched your devices since you last saw the apps, or have you been doing things that might indicate a cause for this?
If you really haven't done anything at all and these are old, old apps and they were withdrawn by the distributors then perhaps they are gone (which is why you need to make your own backup of everything you buy and not rely upon it always being on the Apple site).
