I can't rename photos to export after new Photos upgrade! After I edit and got to export, I cannot rename the photo. Please help!
With the new upgrade - Photos - I can't figure out how to rename my edited photos to export. The space is either grayed out or does not give me the option. I spent 30 minutes at the Apple store One-to-One and he couldn't figure it out either. With both my computer and his. He said he couldn't change the description or tag faces. Please tell me step by step how to do this. I cannot post my photos to my blog or Facebook or Pinterest. Thank you very much!

Which preset are you using for the export? And which naming scheme do you want?
When you export an edited version as JPEG, you should see these choices:
If you use the option "Use Title", you can change the title before you export the the filename you want to use for the version.
With "Sequential" you can enter a prefix and Photos will add a number.
If all fails, export to a folder on your Desktop and rename the exported files manually.

Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iPod fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- If still not successful that indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order. -
Set up folder under My Pictures entitled photos for iphone. Only want to sync those photos. When I plug in my iphone to sync, under photos I can see a button for 'selected folder' but it won't let me select that button. AND it only wants to let me sync photos from photoshop elements, which is irrelevant to my wanting to sync from a folder....
had no problems syncing to my ipod from this same folder. Yes, I read the previous post about photo syncing and I deleted the ipod cache subfolder already. still can't sync....
the manual says you can sync just one folder within your documents on your PC, but I can't figure out how to make it happen. Am on a bit of a deadline, since 'need' these photos before October 13, when I leave for a college reunion.
help!!!!Okay. I figured out how to sync photos. This time, I tried the radio button both before the sync (no luck) but again after the sync was finished - when ITunes said I could disconnect my iphone...NOW, but only when the sync was finished, was I able to get the toggle to work next to Sync Photos from - to select a particular folder on my computer. Synced the 14 photos that I wanted to sync.
Next question: how do I reorder the photos in the album? They aren't even in the same order as in the folder on my PC. -

I have recently bought the new iPod video with 30 gb, i have already been able to upload videos and music but when i try to put photos on my iPod and i go to: iPod preferences, photos, synchronize photos from, and select the folder i want, iTunes starts optimizing my photos and then i get an error while updating saying: "The iPod can't update, the required folder was not found"
What can i do??? y tried everything but nothing helps!We've had the same problem and cured it by changing USB ports.
We had recently upgraded to a USB2.0 card to improve transfer speeds.
We then decided to put photos in the ipod for the first time.
Like others here, we got through the optimisation process but then got the message about the ipod not being able to update and the required folder not found.
We updated the ipod software and itunes to the latest versions but it didn't help.
We then swapped ports to the old USB1.0 and it cured the problem. We now have photos on the ipod.

How can i get my bookmarks back, after mozilla crashed and got stuck in safe mode?
I was using mozilla as usual when suddenly it crashed and then my computer turned off. i restarted it and said it had gone into safe mode. i tried to restart the computer again but it was stuck on safe mode.

Lightroom 5 is not exporting my previews in the catalog, please help!
I purchased Lightroom 5 on Wednesday and had no problem exporting my images from a catalog that included previews and smart previews. Now it is having trouble exporting my previews. I'd tried restarting lightroom, trying different folder, I made sure all images were there, and still no luck. I would appreciate any help!
To be clear: Lightroom (without a plugin) can not (or should I say will not) export "plain" (lib) previews.
That said, if there is a smart preview, you should be able to export.
Are you saying there is a smart preview, but you can't export?
What about if there is NOT a smart preview - still a problem??

There's a fair bit of discussion of this topic in http://forums.adobe.com/message/4635231#4635231.
In general you have to manually create the file/folder structure the SWF expects in the hosting environment. There's no way for Muse to know what files the SWF depends upon, if any, and where they need to be located.
A SWF that has external dependencies will never work in Muse Preview or Muse Preview in Browser, but can be made to work on a published/uploaded site by manually using an FTP client to create the file/folder structure the SWF requires.

Wherever you put it. The iphones is designed to be synced to your computer regularly. Everything on your iphone should be on your computer.
All of your music should be in itunes.
You should knw where you keep your pics. What pics are you talking about? Pics taken with iphone? You should be importing these to your computer regularly as you would with any digital camera. Pics synced to iphone from your computer will be on your computer, as that is where they came from in the first place.
Maybe if you were to explain your situation, you could get more specific help. -
I have a new Dell computer running windows 7 and am unable to download itunes. The message I recieve after trying to run the download is: This installation package could not be opened. Verify that the package exists and that you can access it. Any ideas?

In SE38 Open the program with old name. Press the RENAME button. In the Target program field provide the new name of program name. This new name for program should not exist in your system. Click on the Rename button. It will give a pop-up where it ask if you want to rename any includes in that program. I assume you dont have any includes in the program. So press the Rename button again without selecting the "Include" check box. Now it will ask for the Transport request. Provide your Transport request number. The program will be renamed.

try resetting your network settings: Settings - General - Reset - Reset Network Settings. This works fine if something is messed up with your carrier bundle.
